I am ending my love-affair with google. it has internet-herpes.
anywho.... .... just.. gods damn. that's all I have to say.
I had good news. but it's just not something that holds up against this news. and I'm too tired to read all the long posts, especially in this tiny tiny format. damn library computers...
Shan, I dunno what to say. I'd only just noticed this morning that Sorin called me. nobody had told me about it, and I know for a fact that some people were on the phone around that time...
and now this? good gods... I'm worrying like hell now... I hope to hear from you today, I'm waiting for you to get online.

erinnightwalker shandrel someone stole my wallet today ran up over 400 $ in charges, EVERYTHING i had in the account ALL of my Id's MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TWO bank cards EVERYTHING now i can't move, because i don't have id. the money is being given back to me atleast.... but i can't MOVE now.......... i have no words for how pissed, and hurt i am............ Oh, I can think of a few choice words. Most are anatomically impossible. Without "help"..... twisted To-Do list- Report all thefts to appropriate channels (SS bureau, police, DMV, etc.) Report to banks NOW and if possible close all accounts associated with the two cards Report to credit cards and close cards if possible Apply for new SS card Apply for new driver's license Think about metaphysical repercussions, if such things are part of your beliefs Police reports filed, have to contact SS and credit bureau, i don't have a drivers license. the banks have been contacted, the money they took is going to be returned to me, but i have to wait on new cards to come int eh mail. i DID find one id, but it is expired BUT it's been less than 6 months, so i SHOULD be able to get a state id, as soon as i can pay for it smile

*takes a deep breath*
I hate stress... And having a two year old who doesn't listen makes everything really stressful... I told her to sit on the chair I have no clue how many times and ended up having to pick her up and put her there.....

Good to see you Twi!
And yeah Kosi, kids are indeed fun...
My day ended with me nearly snapping on my nearly 4 year old. She is very...erm... artistic... to say the least.
For real, I have been able to tell what her pictures are since she was two, and she is already able to color and stay in the lines. She is better at sight-copying pictures than her 8 year old brother is... but she has recently decided the bounds of a 7x11 sheet of paper is not enough to contain her massive abundance of creative genius. She has been sneaking around leaving her marks on places that I don't normally see. She has recently muraled my son's wall (his room has been newly and completely remodeled), she has been coloring on toys, on the shelf in her room, the underside of the coffee table, the floor under the rug (I wondered why the rug kept shifting), and I just don't know what to do with her.
Tonight, when I made my most recent discovery, I sent her to her room, and when I was trying to explain that I was upset and that she was in trouble, she got this snide little grin on her face. I wanted to flip her over and swat her rear end, but we reserve that for serious punishment for dangerous activities on her part. I think she understands this more than my son ever did, so she isn't scared of getting in trouble. She doesn't seem bothered by getting her toys taken either. I have never completely emptied her room of toys before, and I think that is my next step if she continues her snootiness...

Eltanin Sadachbia Oh crap... redface that turned into a right out rant... Sorry guys... emo tough weekend and harsh Monday. I know what you're going through, but I daresay I'd have preferred my boys to use actual artistic mediums for their play instead of feces. *shudder* My hubby tried removing all their toys from their room as a punishment for ^ that, and we were the ones who learned the lesson, not the boys. They ripped up the carpet overnight (it wasn't properly affixed to the floor in the first place), broke one of their toddler bed frames, and somehow managed to pry a section of baseboard from the walls. Rowan wasn't two yet when they did all that. In other news... my hubby is getting a dollar-and-a-quarter raise, he scored 38 out of 40 points on an assessment at his work. Yaaaaay! I'm so proud of him.

I feel like everyone is dying around me. First it was one of my adoptive grandfathers in Canada, then it was my step-step-grandfather-in-law, and now one of the tenants at our apartments died yesterday. I feel like I'm in a sub, without steering or propulsion, and I'm just sinking slowly and listening while the steel walls around me creak and groan and sweat with condensation as the pressure increases little by little.
