Ajora merely laughed at Alan's first comment about Paradise, as if they were sharing some sort of mutual joke. He didn't ignore it, nor did he answer it, preferring to leave his opinion on the matter vague. Let it hang in the air, as it were.
"You could word it like that, yes. I was merely referencing the titles given to me by others of your ilk," he explained, and his tone was beginning to seem a bit... distant or distracted. He gazed around, looking at the group. "Does anyone have a frisbee? I'd even settle for a volleyball, really, despite the disappointing lack of net."

Sayrike::The Black Pearl Sayrike rolled her eyes as Anthony caught on, his ignorance almost comical. The three of them had made their way over to the riggings, Jacob quickly jumping ahead and climbing up the ratlines, before Anthony turned around to Michelle's cries. The mirror-user wasn't sure what was considered normal grieving either. "I don't quite know, me neither..." Sayrike muttered distractedly in response to Anthony's question, intent on watching Michelle and Dawn for another few seconds to make sure everything was all right. She began to climb, following Jacob's lead, but after a few moments Dawn's shouts arose as well. Dang it, what now? she thought worriedly. Trouble seemed to pop up in one way or another. Turning to Jacob, Sayrike called, "Sorry! I'll be right there, just gonna go check on Dawn and Michelle. I looks like something might be up!" By the time she got back down and over to the source of the cries, Louis had arrived, too, a few moments before, and Michelle was making a plea to the young man. Did they know each other already? At any rate, Louis looked like he wanted to help---a mark in his favor. But, then, darkness erupted from Louis and into Dawn. "What the heck--?!" Sayrike couldn't help but gasp. Did no one else find this strange? Count this as a slightly suspicious ability. Anthony looked ready to defend Louis' slumped form, so she didn't go any closer. It seemed like there was nothing to do but wait. After standing there awkwardly for a few moments, Sayrike decided she wasn't going to be of much help. "Hey, Anthony, keep me posted about what happens, okay?" she asked as she walked off to join Jacob above. She didn't want to leave him alone up there. The young woman quickly made her way to the crow's nest, following the path Jacob had taken. Ignoring the height, she settled down next to the other Earthling. "So..." she began, "Seems like they don't need any more help down there. But this is a nice spot up here...Come here often?" She wasn't sure how to proceed, especially since she hadn't exchanged many words with him. But this was a good opportunity to get to do so. [Edit: Considering I passed out while writing this, woke up, and then deliriously finished the rest, I didn't do too bad. But I've made it more coherent. Aplogies.]

Nick's joyous moment of relaxation on the sand was violently disturbed as Ajora landed nearby kicking sand into the air and into the nose and mouth of the Lanista.
"ACKPBBBTH. DISGUSTING." He yelled, wiping his tongue off rapidly and exhaling the sand particles in his nose. The one thing he loved and hated about the beach: The sand. Nick had always lived by the beach, and he always enjoyed the feel of the sand on his feet when he went walking along the shore. However, he always had a particular disdain for when he fell at the beach and got sand up his nose or in his mouth. He imagined that everyone probably felt that way, but he digressed.
"...Flinging sand? Really? I expected better from you." He rolled his eyes, scooping up a handful of sand and letting it fall out of his palm and back onto the beach.

"Michelle...?" Dawn said as she looked over at her sister, her eyes with a blank expression of confusion. What was going on? And why was there someone laying on her with Michelle telling her not to wake him. It seemed a little bit out of the ordinary.... She must of been more out of it earlier than she thought.
~'Sunlight. Good to see that you are returning to normal. I see he succeeded.'~
'Garuda...?' She blinked hearing her summon with such a light tone, 'What are you talking about? Who is 'he'?
~'You were doubled over in pain that was coming from that seal. Louis was able to break through it somehow. He went inside and broke it. I have to give the young man more credit than I originally had given him... Not just anyone would of been able to go inside one's heart like that.'~
Dawn shook her head at Garuda's explanation, it wasn't making any sense. That was until she placed her hand on her forehead, to both hide her face and cover her eyes from the sun she was being forced to look up at. She noticed the symbol of Ultima had disappeared. Her eyes widened slowly as the pieces were slowly coming together in her mind.
'You mean Louis... he...?'
~'He came and broke the seal. I don't know how, but I just know he did.'~
Without another word from Garuda, Dawn started to sit up and slide from underneath Louis. She touched his shoulder as she gently rolled him onto his back. She looked at him in both confusion and worry. He broke the seal on her hand, but if he was hurt she was going to be even more upset.
"Louis..." Dawn said with her hand still on his shoulder. Hoping she would be able to get him to stir.

Louis slowly stirred to consciousness, opening his eyes only to slam them shut as light physically hurt his eyes. Louis squinted as he slowly opened them once more, the little viewable portions of his eyes showing sheets of darkness flow over the surface of his eyes and into the pupils like someone had grabbed hold and yanked the cloth through the black portals.
Louis finally opened his eyes completely and looked around, his vision blurry so that he had to rub them to try and clear his vision but it seemed only time would cure his sight. "How long was I out?" He asked Anthony, though the question was universal as he rubbed the back of his head, wincing lightly at an unexpected sensitivity. He had not yet come to the realization as to where he was.

"Well, well, well... I had not expected my web to be entangled so early, and certainly not by you..."
Ajora's voice could be heard clear as day to Louis; as a matter of fact, it would have sounded as if Ajora was speaking into his ears, like a low whisper from his left side. If he turned, he might have seen a flash of red, but it would have been subliminal, as if he'd simply blinked. The words echoed what had been said in the beginning of Louis' dive.
"Not going to lie, you surprised me, Louis... why, it's not even my birthday...
This time, the sound came from Louis' right. If he turned, another subliminal image would have popped up, but instead of it being a flash of red, it would be a flash of brown eyes.
The voices could be heard by no one else; the images were only seen by Louis himself.

((Crap post is crap, sorry. ><)){Hawaii .:. Beach} Demyx nodded a little at Ajora's response to the Nobody's rating. If nothing else, Dem was determined to avoid any more conflicts, at least until morning. Then he'd argue with people about who had to make coffee, and mooch off of them all.
"I dunno where the yokels keep their beach toys, but who needs 'em?" Demyx asked, grinning like the goon that he was. "All you need is some surf and sand, man! And a babe or two... dozen." The Nobody waggled his eyebrows in what was supposed to be a lascivious and suggestive manner.All Bobbi could really do was nod. Her jaw was clenched too tightly for her to respond with anything other than a threatening growl. Riku, Kyle, Dani... They were all telling her to basically chill. She knew they would never, ever tell her to ignore the threat so blatantly in their midst, but still, it felt... It kind of hurt. But I would do the same thing in their place, she realized, and at least relaxed enough that she could breathe again. She wouldn't dismiss Taulmaril just yet, and was thankful for the Dress Sphere being able to keep her at a comfortable temperature despite the beach sun on her spandex Ranger suit.

Well, Alan answering his question didn't really help him out. Good to know that they can easily jump that high in the games. If that was the case, then it wasn't as strange for that to happen. Still, he didn't trust the man. Was it rude? Probably. But still, it probably wasn't all that strange for him to be suspicious.
And it seemed that Ajora was now joining them on the beach. Lovely. But it seemed like Alan was handling him the best. At least he was willing to talk. And Bobbi wasn't trying to kill him at least. Then the message from Riku came in. Nodding, he dismissed his katars and the suit disappeared as well. He was back in his swim trunks and sunglasses.
"Hey lovely ladies next to me. How about we all just sit on the beach and make some sand castles? Just think how amazing the castles would be with someone manipulating the earth to help you." To prove his point, he moved his hands up and the sand started to dance around the three of them, tempting them to envision amazing castles of sand, whatever their minds could desire.
Still, it didn't seem as though Bobbi had any desire to calm down. With the sand dancing around them still, he wrapped his arms around her from behind, not sure how she'd react to it. Hoping she wouldn't push him away, he lightly spoke to her, only loud enough for her ears. "Please, please calm down. I don't want to get in any more fights just yet. I'm sure that nobody else wants to fight just yet either. I know you've probably had really bad experiences with the replicas, and I can't blame you for being so high-strung. But they aren't here to attack us. And even if they do, nobody will let you be hurt. We're all gonna defend you. You won't get taken. Trust me." He wasn't sure how she'd react to his words, but he hoped she would calm down, just a little.

Bobbi stiffened and let out a faint squeak of surprise as she felt arms wrap around her from behind. Her first reaction was to jab backwards sharply with her elbow, but something stopped her. She didn't feel any maliciousness from the person hugging her, just... warmth. Protection. Reassurance. It was nice, in a way. Especially since she was a very, very huggy person.
"Hugs make everything better," she remembered herself saying on more than one occasion. And hey, what do you know? It was true. Even someone she hadn't known all that long was willing to hug her, to show her and tell her that no matter what, things will be alright. But, oddly, it wasn't so much herself she was worried about. Sure, to an extent, self-preservation was kicking in, but still.
"I'm not worried about myself so much," she said, letting herself relax into the hug. "I just don't want any of you guys to get hurt protecting me."

Glad that she was relaxing more, he kept her arms around her for a bit longer. "But, ya know, we're willing to get hurt to protect you. Because we care about you. You're our friend. I know I'd do anything to help my friends." With that last bit said, he gave one tight squeeze then released her and stepped back a bit.
Holding out his hand to her first, then Dani, the sand started flowing in shapes around them again. "So let's get to making some awesome sand castles!" The smile on his face was huge and it was clear that he was excited for it.

Dani started to relax as she heard Alan inside of her head. “Thankyou Alan,” Dani said to only Alan in her head, “I will come to you later for more information.” With that, she cut off the charm with him and looked back to Kyle and Bobbi.
“Hey!” Dani pouted at Kyle, “I control water! So I can really help as well.” Dani then cringed as Kyle hugged Bobbi.
“You’re cringing because of a hug? What kind of earthling are you?” Leviathan butted into her mind completely clueless.
“Shut it Leviathan! Dani shouted in her mind to water dragon “I do not get a lot of hugs and I didn’t when I was on earth. Also I still feel weird about them.
“Whatever you say weird human.”
Dani smiled at Kyle when he held his hand out to Bobbi and herself. “Yeah, building a sandcastle sounds fun! I haven’t actually made one before.” Dani said before grabbing onto Kyle’s arm.

As Sayrike walked away, Anthony turned in her direction and nodded, agreeing to keep her informed before using the trinity charm for the first time. "You got it, Sayrike..." He turned his attention back to the two unconscious individuals, still alert and wary of others attempting to approach them. Though he did not mind Michelle sitting beside the pair, understanding the sudden emotional turmoil the young lady must be feeling with her husband taken by the enemy and now her sister suffering and unconscious--not to mention the theatrics that happened a moment ago when Ajora toyed with her mind.
It wasn't long after Louis lost consciousness that Dawn showed signs of regaining her's. Behind her eyelids, Anthony noticed the girl's eyes shifting around before fluttering open. A sigh of relief escaped the warrior-knight's lips as his body became less tense. "Dawn's awake...," he told Sayrike through the trinity charm. "And I think Louis is waking up, too." And he did... Shortly after Dawn awoke, Louis followed and after somewhat gathering himself, he asked, "How long was I out?"
"Not very long...," Anthony said in response to Louis' question. "Probably a few minutes, if that."
The young man slightly frowned as Louis winced after rubbing the back of his head, then asked the question that was probably on everyone's mind, "What happened to you two?"

Louis looked at Anthony, frowning as he thought about the events inside Dawn's darkness, "Well, well, well... I had not expected-" "I encountered Ajora inside Dawn." "-certainly not by you..." Louis turned and looked to his side, at Dawn and the flash of red. The red was slightly unexpected, but ignored.
The boy looked back at Anthony, staying on topic, "Not going to lie-" "Ugh... It seems Dawn was infected with a similar affliction to what James is dealing with. However..." "-it's not even my birthday..." "-um, sorry, lost my train of thought. Put simply, I used the darkness to implant my consciousness into Dawn then followed the darkness to the source. I honestly wasn't sure if it was going to work, but I had to do something... just kinda acted on instinct really. It worked out for the best. That's all that matters. Dawn is safe now since I managed to remove the source of the darkness."

Dawn stared down at Louis as the he spoke to Anthony. She had put her hand in her lap after he woke up, and kept it there. She chewed on her lower lip as if she wanted to say something. She really didn't know what to say. Ajora spoke to her with the image of Bobbi in her head, then nothing but pain she couldn't control. Her mind went blank as to what happened after that.
"I..." Dawn said looking down at her hands in her lap, "I am sorry... and thank you...."

Bobbi cringed a little when Kyle said they were willing to get hurt to protect her. It was weird, but hearing that was kind of the last thing she needed at the moment. She felt kind of guilty, even though there was nothing to feel guilty about.
Must be because I know that eventually, probably pretty soon here, those words will come to pass, she thought, staring at the sand swirling around her, Kyle, and Dani. And I know it's gonna be my fault because I wasn't able to protect myself or... or anyone else.
The Archer felt something like amused annoyance coming from Shiva, right before the temperature down the back of her suit dropped a few dozen degrees. Bobbi yelped quite loudly, releasing Taulmaril back to wherever the weapon went, and letting her dress sphere change her out of the tight Ranger suit in what was probably a vain attempt to get the ice out of it. She stepped away from Kyle and Dani as well so her flailing to scrape what was left of the ice out of her swimwear didn't accidentally hit one of them.
"Dammit, Shiva!" she cursed out loud, torn between laughter and anger. This was the second time in a week Shiva had dumped ice down whatever outfit she was wearing to lighten the mood. The first time had been in her pants to wake her up.
~:Stop... oh, what was the term you like to use? Ah, yes. Stop being emo and go build sand castles!:~ Shiva scolded gently. ~:I'll make sure you get some warning if our uninvited guest decides to cause any issues.:~
