Amber decided to walk on into the kitchen to see if she could help Jacob out with anything since cooking alone was sometimes a drag. "Hey Jacob," she asked as she came up to him, sitting on the counter and swinging her legs back and forth, "you need some help making anything or are you all good on your own?" Amber seemed more mature suddenly, odd considering her nature being so upbeat. She was still upbeat but seemed to be wandering off in thought a little.
Aiden decided to remain outside of the apartment, he could hear everyone easily enough and Amber could take care of herself long enough to ensure that he was able to get to her rescue. They were hunters so they wouldn't likely harm her but he trusted no one for everyone's intentions were twisted and humans did things that were stupid as did everyone else.

Jacob said "I should be fine. I used to cook for my unit back in Ireland." He resumed humming the tune, which he recognised as an old drinking song.

Amnity gave up on trying to get Jacob to let her down. She just rested her elbow on his back and rested her head on her hand, his shoulder was begining to be uncomfortable. The hunter looked at Mephlius who was following behind them, a tinge of guilt came across her heart. It wasn't surprising, he seemed to be the only person that can make her feel guilty. She bit her lip as she looked at him. ...He gave some of his blood to me... she tried to be mad at him but found that she couldn't. With a sigh Amnity stared at the ground.
When they entered the apartment Amnity immediately saw Amber, "Save me!!! He won't let me down!!" she called to her.

Mephlius sat down, and smiled. He continued attempting to hum the tune with Jacob. I think i've heard this one before

Amber smiled as Amnity called for her assistance. "Well I suppose I could fry his a** since I'm a pyrokinetic but chances are I'd miss and blow something up in your well-kept apartment. That'd just make me feel bad and I don't think carrying you is that bad so I think I'll just not fry his a**. After all, he's cooking and humming merry tunes." She smiled and decided to go over to Amnity. "So you're sure your lung's alright? Don't push yourself, the last thing people need is another dead hunter." She winced a slight bit at her comment and then waited for Amnity to say something until she came up with a question. "So who lives here?"

"Well I stumbled and I am all drunk and full of smoke
my wife said I have had enough, thats it, I'm sick, get out!
so I stumbled down to Kellys pub across the edge of town
and I told the boys me story and we had another round!"

"Well I stumbled and I am all drunk and full of smoke my wife said I have had enough, thats it, I'm sick, get out! so I stumbled down to Kellys pub across the edge of town and I told the boys me story and we had another round!" Amnity rubbed her stomach and groaned. "God Jacob do you have shoulder blades of steal or something?" The hunter sat next to Amber and rested her head on the counter. "...See what I have to put up with?...I live here...Jacob moved in.."
Her stomach growled when she smelled the potatoes, but it churned when she heard the Irish drinking song. Damn I hate that song... But she didn't say it out loud. Her old Irish friends used to sing it all the time...

Amber, having not been to Ireland and only being fifteen, really didn't get the referrence to the song though she caught on quickly enough. Not only that but she noticed that Amnity seemed to be a little down. "Wanting us to stop singing the song? Did your dead Irish friends used to sing it?"

Mephlius continued humming along, catching himself before he said any lyrics that would get him hit with a frying pan. He closed his eyes, and smiled.
