Amnity smiled at Kuro's proposal. "Yeah, that old git won't know what hit him." Then she felt guilty for calling her grandfather an idiot. She loved her grandfather, but at times he could be worse then her.
She turned around and saw that Mephlius had already left. Turning back to Kuro, she had asked. "Should we follow him?"

Mephlius walked in, freshly shaven and showered. "What'd I miss?"

Amnity turned to Mephlius, a bit shocked that he was back already. Seeing his face, she was a bit speechless. Cocking her head to the side, she tried to hide a smirk as she just stood there and looked at him. She let out a small giggle and bit her lip.

Amnity covered her mouth with one hand and waved dismissively with the other. Only one thought came to her mind when he looked like this, and now she can savor the happiness every time she looked at him. But she wasn't going to tell him anytime soon.

"No...Nothing bad Mephlius." She replied, noticing the tone of anoyance in his voice. Still, she wasn't planning on telling him why she was so happy.

He glared for a second, then walked over to the Lake. He looked into his reflection, and checked his appearance. ((What is it?!?!?!))

Amnity came next to him as he looked int the lake, smiling at his reflection. "There's nothing wrong Mephlius! I swear!" She let out a chuckle and hugged him.

Mephlius paused for a second, then squeezed her close. "You're weird sometimes..." Not like I have any room to be talking...

Amnity stopped laughing for a second, a distant look in her eyes as she held Mephlius tightly. It was strange, she didn't usually flash back to the past in a whim. She immediately had a flash back and it wasn't even triggered by anything around her.
The distant look in her eyes didn't pass as she continued to stare into space. She was neither horrified, or bothered by it as it passed by in her mind. It was just like in the movies when someone had a flashback. The images were blurrier and slightly gray as it flashed onto the screen. But this wasn't just any flashback, it was a war flashback. That means the the images in her mind were tainted in a blood red color. Amnity hugged Mephlius tighter as she was beginning to get more and more disturbed.

Mephlius at first thought the clinging was a good sign. Then he pulled back a little bit so he could look her in the eyes and carry a conversation. He saw her blank stare. "Am?"

Amnity blinked a few times, now trying to get back to reality. "Yeah....I'll be back in a few minutes..." She said to Mephlius, not looking into his eyes. She was still staring off again, not releasing her grip. Her voice was airy and almost robotic. But it was an honest response, she would be back in a few minutes. Amnity continued with the flashback, it was like watching a movie that she knew all too well.
