Yea, but there are one or two total n00bs in the guild that figure that they have the ULTIMATE MECHA FIGHTER of all time. So something traveling at the same speed a handgun bullet would wouldn't do anything but scuff the paint, and you'd be lucky if that happened. So I figured...make a weapon that would plow through their mecha, not plow into...through! Slug thrower, single shot, two minute reload after each shot. Carries a max of fifty rounds in the mecha. Have duel alternating laser cannons on the other arm, one fires and while that one's cooling the other one fires. Missile pods, and maybe a little laser blaster for some A-P.

Well...... a rail gun would easily be able to build up much greater speeds than that with armor piercing rounds. Highly charged magnets can work wonders 3nodding An EMP weapon of some kind could probably screw with them as well. Could also use a vertically launched, multi-warhead napalm missle to heat up the armor of the mecha, which would make the metal at least a little more malleable and easier to dent. Yeah there are tons of ways you can screw with them. If they're the type that have loads of energy and beam weapons on their mechs, then you should suit your mech with an "I-field" 3nodding

They have a credit system, so you have to BUY everything you put into your mecha. It's a good system...sorta...so I can't be throwing all this random stuff into my mecha, unless I buy it from the stores. I can MAKE parts, but that requires salvage, money, and a factory to work in (which you have to rent or buy). This system is designed to pervent people from suddenly popping up with nuke launchers flying out their arse.

I'm guessing that these newbs have build up a lot of creds then? Either that or they should have to play to pay for their uber mech sweatdrop

Kobei @Teggie: You make Kobei sad. I am sorry, Kobei...truely I am. The loveliness of an angel such as yourself should not have to tollerate such immature behavior from the likes of myself. With such a radiant beauty surrounding you, I am surprised a mere little stumble was capable of effecting the warmth of the glow that lingers off your silky skin, or the vivid sheen of your lovely hair. Will you forgive me? I know I ask much, but surely someone as lovely as yourself must have a beautiful heart, to match the equally beautiful body in which you grace this humble guild OOC.

And they were some of the donators to help make the guild, so they got all the best sponsors. *shrug* Doesn't bother me though...your armor can be the hardest substance on the earth. 8 SRM slamming into your cockpit is going to FUG YOU UUUUUP!!! The judges seem fair...mwuahaha, I have a plan to take these little pricks down. Their scanners only watch for activity, one of the down falls on the tracking systems in this guild. So I figure if I set up a stationed moniter station, run away from it and power down my mecha, they'll go for IT and not me. And since I can get feed back, VIA satalite and a laptop, I'll see them at the precise moment and power my weapons to full blaze. Unload, dump my coolant, and do it again!! Mwuahahahahaha!!! Phear me, bishes!! For I hunt the heads of n00b mech pilots!!
