"Who else is there, Arlen?" Lily asked softly, looking at him with tears in her eyes. "Tomo couldn't sense anything wrong when he examined you, and I don't have enough experience or practical knowledge to go about figuring out how to help. I don't know who else we can ask...I don't want you to...to...to die just because you refused to go to nii-san, then me find out that he could have helped."

"All of Cerri's friends seem to be either missing or insane." Lily told him dryly. Then she paused, thinking. "The Fae might be able to help...but they'll ask a price." Her leaf green eyes were filled with worry now, and she sighed. "And I don't know how to contact them without using the keystone."

"The question is, am I." Lily murmured, rubbing her forehead. She'd started to fidget again, the energy able to find no other outlet. "Whatever is going wonky with me could end up badly if it affects my magic while we're travelling."

Lily looked at him with disbelief, then shook her head. "I won't make you." she told him softly, eyes conflicted. "But right now, using the keystone could lead to things worse than death, and I don't want that to happen to you." The teen hesitated, making an internal decision, then sighed. "I won't take you through the keystone right now Arlen."

"I won't unless I feel I have to." Lily hedged, then kissed him lightly. "It isn't that bad yet, love. Not quite." She froze, something waking in her memory. "Wait...Mister Tomo...he mentioned a name, a mentor...Ritsuko-san, I think it was. Maybe he could send to her for help."

Lily just nodded and hugged him tighter, pulling her feet up on the couch and curling her legs under her. "I love you." she whispered softly.

She looked up into his eyes, searching them, then nodded. "Okay." Lily gave him a light kiss, then pillowed her head on his shoulder.
