Lt. Brookman Do me a favour and dump the vox casters. Most squads have a veteran sergeant, boosting the squad Ld. value to Ld. 8 and the HSO isn't going to do much with a normal vox, so if you really want an effective vox net that's useful, take the master vox. On that note, VETERANS CANNOT TAKE VOX CASTERS OR MASTER VOX ARRAYS. Your army also lacks serious AT stopping power, so bending over and taking it from tanks will become a feature. Plus, it's plasma GUN and meltaGUN, not rifle. /nitpicking Well, the vox casters are there more for the fluff, as that they're high-tech and are in constant communication with one another. They're designed for urban combat, but you have a good point about the lack of anti-tank firepower. Any suggestions of what to add? Sorry about the veteran/vox-caster thing. I guess I read it that they had to be a veteran to carry the vox. sweatdrop And I like calling them rifles, as that it sounds fancier that way. xp More a preference than anything else.

Nah, keep the voxs, just if youre going all out with voxs then at least take the master vox so its useful.

Well, judging from the mini's you plan on using, I'd suggest adding in some more missile launchers to the army, either as a second AT support squad, or as weapon teams added to infantry squads. The same can said of your AP fire power to some degree. Some extra heavy bolters might do you go good.

Mat so Mac im thinking when I get home im gonna take my current Drop Troops force and stuff them all into the backs of chimeras and pass out meltas and plasmas for the whole bunch Just remember that transports = less troops and more tread. So for a Guard force you can actually be outnumbered here. Plus the amount of Chimera's needed to support such a force could be quite costly. Remember that all units labeled as "Guard infantry" MUST take transports when going for the mechanized infantry route. Mat ahh bugger... Ah yes, the Macharius tank with Vulcan Mega Bolters. The model is more impressive than the actual ammo output. Heavy 15 sounds nice, but without any rending ability the weapon has its limitations. Sure, I can chew through heavy infantry with certain ease, but vehicles are a big stump for this tank. And at 400+ points, the Vulcan Mega Bolter pattern is more reserved for Apocalypse matches.

I'm thinking of getting a flyer in the long term, either a Vulture or Arvus, not sure which one as of yet.
