Whoever is controlling Bao (I have an idea who), I never said it was an orb of water. I did however state that those types of things are made with dimensional rifts however. Meaning, if you want that scroll you'll have to be able to go into someone's personal dimension which they made and take it, even with the laws of rejection coming into play. This is another fine example of no one bothering to ask the properties of what something's made of and just ASSUMING they can do what they want. I'll explain it a little. Tutsumi Hy As soon as Tut saw Ren run for the scroll, he quickly moved it up higher in the air to a point near impossible to simply jump for it. It was then that he noticed Iri had stopped him in time. A soft, yet deep, sigh. "I take it you're the kid. Listen to me, if anything touches that sphere without my permission...well...it'll be extremely painful. How painful? Imagine each cell that touches it being ripped apart cell by cell." Now, considering that I've mentioned before that these things are dimensional and that they are of a personal space, as shown in the post above, it's safe to assume that this is something similar to a black hole or at least what we speculate the other side of it to be. A black hole will tear you atom from atom until you are nothing if you get too close to it. The 'too close' to it for this is touching it. This was well prevented as no one actually touched it. HOWEVER, that being said, that doesn't excuse it being part of a personal space dimension. We've had several instances of personal space dimensions in here or at least personal spaces and dimensions on some level. Of course, this will be null and void if Bao can actually tear a rift into other dimensions, find the correct one out of thousands+, and then summon a scroll without worrying about his own well being due to the law of rejection which disallows near damn everything from going into it, even magic required for a summon, unless the owner allows it. As for "oh, I thought it was similar to the box", it is, but at the same time I gave visual indications that it was different. Color and shape are both key. If someone has a black aura that takes the shape of flames, would you go up and kiss them? I know I'd be very damn wary. However, I probably would to someone who's aura was purple and in a calmer shape. (This definition might be a bit hard to grasp...but it's the best suited.)

Before this evolves into another two-page argument, Tut, I would appreciate it if you would let this go so we can continue RP. Okay, yes, we understand the 'personal space' thing, but the item was, I'm assuming, a personal item. Who is to say that the scroll wasn't bound to Bao, had a timed summoning seal on it, or any other plethora of excuses that would allow Bao to come in possession of it again?
This is RP between about seven people, not some multi-tiered organization where we have to stick by the book for every instance or chaos will reign. I'm not saying that it's okay to godmod, but if it doesn't hurt anyone or their story, then there's no real point in arguing it to the extent that I'm expecting this to break down into.
So Tut, I'm asking you to drop it, and move on with the RP. If someone does something you don't like, ignore it, or bring it up to them privately. If they do something heinous or disruptive, then bring it up here. I'm tired of having an argument happen every round of posts.
People keep saying that they want the GNA to be like it used to be, and I do too. I like having fun here, and lately, we've had some instances where it felt like old times, because we weren't nitpicking each other, and we were letting things slide. All I'm saying is that if it's no big deal then don't make it into one, and let's just have fun while it lasts.

ffs, tut you cant expect people to know what the damn things made of if you dont explain it in the beginning. And one sec, does it say in your bio that Tut can do that? yes, not every attack is listed in bios, but if your going to be so detailed about each thing and well tut can do this and tut can do that, and you want to fight that he can, then it needs to be in bios. This is total bs. You cant say his post is null when he didnt even know that the damn orb was made of to begin with, all you have to do is rp it out and go, oh look, surprise, the orbs going to hurt Bao. Cause his character doesnt know, and in order for his character to know, you have to write out a response, and explain what can happen. Whether or not it does will be rped, not talked through OOC. Heres an example:
Baos post
Bao gets the scroll, some watery thing is around it yadda yadda yadda.
Tuts post
The watery thing does something odd and pulls Bao into a dimensional rift, yadda yadda yadda
That is rp, that is how it should happen. Not this crap. In order for Baos post to be Null, everyone involved in the post has to agree and guess what? Ishis in the post, so im part of this too now. if you dont stop tut, im just going to stop rping with you, because this is bull, you come up with these attacks and expect everyone to understand them and when the characters dont, you call the post Null. It stops here, deal with it kindly or dont deal with it at all and ill skip your damn post.
edit: i am tired of this arguing about attacks, and waste months of possible great rp. Sitting here and arguing whether or not the character can use this, or defend against that or whatever just keeps us here as the rp sits and rots. You make sacrifices for the freaking rp, so it continues and is actually fun. Making attacks that cant be avoided and cant be broken down is stupid! That is gming and some of the things that have recently been made up are borderline, not just on one persons part.
edit edit: No attack is suppose to be 100% unless there is training. If you have not used the attack in the GNA before, then there shouldnt be an automatic, it works completely the way you wanted it to. If you want it to be 100% then it has to be in your history, and in your attacks list in your bio. Things cant suddenly be there, and work like a charm each time. And each argument we have had recently on attacks from each person, are new ones that are 100% sure to work. THAT IS NOT RP. If you want to do that, then count me out.
if you want your attacks to work 100% each time, then i will not rp with you because i still make Ishi miss attacks all the time and i expect the same respect out of anyone else. I want a good rp, not one where some one can kill off a character, or hit a character over and over and not let the other person hit them. 100% is perfect, and godly. And as far as i know, no person is perfect, and no ones bio says their character is a god.

I've had techniques misunderstood and ignored it and it's bit me so we can't always ignore it or skip over it.
Someone want to make or at least start a technique list thread since it's something that keeps coming up? One that spells out all techniques people can be trained in? Updating it obviously will happen as techniques are invented, but for anything that others could learn it wouldn't be a bad idea when the technique's not completely straight forward.
I mean it would be better then complaining it's not in someone's Bio given most secondary characters and many GNA members don't have Bio threads with complete lists of their techniques. Not to mention I don't think I've seen a Bio where the techniques were spelled out.
It might help to limit the technique's description to a paragraph, two at most. It would mean techniques couldn't be so complex as Tut's seem to be given how much text comes from the argument, but it would force more wiggle room into them.
