Dagoth DeSeer Its my job as a mod, roan gave permission for it to be a sticky that hasnt changed and finally its not a personal profile story its a work of fiction. You can just choose to ignore it rather than just b***h about pointless things, again. and btw, if ima get edited, I believe he should too. that was very hurtfull. I might have to cry. sad

Thats not the same Tear. The word was aimed as an insult at you personally. It was talking about an act. Try and get the context right when you decide to split hairs.
I will not have people calling each other names, full stop. Its childish and pointless. Read Rule 5 if you want clarification that this isnt a recent thing. Other than such petty insults, I dont mind people using strong language, but the context DOES matter.
Basically, either toe the line for this guild or dont bother coming back.

This isn't just an RP guild, so it does has something to do with the guild. Because if I cannot post (or have stickied) my story then most of the threads in here shouldn't be since most of them are not concerning a RP topic.
Some are games, there is the art thread, the avater contest thread, the silly pics thread, the rambelings thread (mostly roany's) and soo on.
and that is the last thing i have to say about this its getting pointless

Tear, I have said to you once and I will say it again. If you wish to express YOUR creativity through something such as a story which will take you hours of work and you decide you want to share it with us, it will be treated with exactly the same amount of respect as Elfy's work has been.
Elfy has worked MANY hours on her story, over several years, and I dont see ANY reason why a creativity based guild such as this one should penalise her for it not being art work or rp. It is still a good achievement she wishes to share and I think it deserves the recognition for the time she has put in.
You and Ky hardly ever even come into the guild, let alone have anything positive to say when you ARE here and neither of you has asked for any special project of yours to be hosted here. This is hardly favouritism as you havent given me a chance to discriminate against you.
Now on a more personal note, you and I have had this situation arise before Tear and it ended in us not talking for months, until you broke the silence and apologised for the behaviour that had caused me to stop talking to you in the first place. Know that I havent changed in that time and I STILL will not stand for personal insults aimed at myself or anyone else within the guild.
It is one thing to use the word b***h to mean complain or moan, another to call a person that in an offensive manner. Your post against Elfy was edited because it was an insult to her personally. You will notice I did NOT edit your post against Avey when you used the same word in a different context, so again you cannot accuse me of favouritism there.
Basically, I will say for the LAST time. Either follow the guild rules, which apply to ALL members (particularly thinking of rule 5 here), or dont bother posting.

And if you want to get angsty, picky and childish Tear, then I hope you realise that everyone in the guild is entitled to say 'What we together?' to you. Ky contributes his art to us, so far since you've reappeared after month long absences again, all you've done is act negatively towards the other members of the guild, hardly the prime example of guild union you seem to want yourself to be. Now your a damn good rp-er, and I've enjoyed playing through several storylines with you and Ky in the past, but please dont try to use my own rules, and the facts Im friends with everyone in the guild against me - it wont work. At teh end of the day, thsi how things ar eand if you dont like it, no one is forcing you to stay. *Shrugs* If you feel this ridiculous incindent is enough cause for you to want to leave, so be it. Your input to the storylines that take place here will be missed. But Im not going to have any more pointless arguing over this matter. I do not feel either party concerned has anything more that needs to be said, though if you have a personal problem with the way I run the guild and you feel you need to leave me your final two'penorth of grievances before leaving, then kindly PM this account.

*reads the last few messages* wtf just happened? and why is it i feel as though we lost that arguement?
anyway alright then, fine i suppose tear and i will back down from that arguement for now despite the fact that our question still remains unanswered. but since the problem with the stories being stickied will be laid to rest for now, i have one last thing id like to say before putting this entire arguement behind us.
Roan as you said tear and i are rarely here in the guild, this is true your right, but there are reasons why we cant be in the guild as often as both you and i would like. One of the reasons is, in past RP's, ones that actually tear and i had participated in and were actually considered somewhat key players(we actually had a point to being around), you guys simply decided to move on with the storyline without us(for whatever reason, i think it was cause you and corbin were to impatient and about how slow things were moving) the storyline had to do with one of corbins characters being a god or whatever(really cant remember it to well) and ky and tear were just beginning to involve themselves back into the storyline(we actually had a reason to exist and could work ourselves into the guild without just coming in randomly) but rather then wait for us to come online you guys simply continued on without us and basically acted as though we had no impact in any way. this kinda pushed us away from the RP that was going on and ruined everything we had planned(we even talked to you and tried to stay as updated on it as we could) which therefor basically meant that tear and ky had no place in the storyline which also led to us basically leaving the guild for random lengthly periods of time. we basically were left with having to watch the guild from afar and popping in every now and then. anyway im not sure about tear but thats why im not here all that often at least not in the RP storylines anyway >.> i gotta say i was a little pissed about that happening but whats done is done i guess....
so anyway.....i have a favor to ask roan, would you mind keeping this discussion we just had with the sticky thing in the OOC corner instead of just going through the posts and deleting them?

I didnt delete anything, simply editted ONE line that was against guild guidelines in ONE post, and I have no intention of wasting my time deleting two pages worth of posts when everyone has seen them already anyways.
As for why the argument just ended, Tear and I had the deceny to talk to each other. I spoke to him on MSN, there was no shouting or anything involved and things have been resolved.
As for that particular storyline you are discussing, there WAS actually LOTS of warning about the dates that would start. The whole thing went on over about a two week period if I remember correctly and neither you NOR Tear let any of us know that you WOULDNT be on for an extended period - correspondance works both ways. I dont think I should have to PM every single person in a storyline when it moves on - thats what the guild is FOR. I post general announcements here and people who do not make it on regularly usually understand that if its a major plot thread, it may continue without them unless something is mentioned to one of the key mods involved. At that particular time, I did not know either of you was on an extended leave of absence.

And its nice to see you back in the storylines, but if you do want confirmation of what I posted, please check the thread it happened in (provided it wasnt one we lost during the launch of GGN 2.0 :S) The posts should reflect the time scale.
