"It's alright.."

That's what Yamagawa-sama said. B-but...but it wasn't because he had hurt Yamagawa-sama and he didn't know if it would ever be like it had before when he hadn't been dark and Yamagawa-sama hadn't been broken and...and oh god, he had broken Yamagawa-sama...that only made him feel more guilty, and he buried his face into the crook of Yamagawa-sama's neck and shoulder, clutching the redhead's neck like a lifeline.

He had broken Yamagawa-sama, and even though he could feel Yamagawa-sama gluing back together, he'd done the unspeakable and broken him. H-how...why had he done it? He remembered something about protection --himself? Yamagawa-sama? protect what?-- but when he turned it was like he was watching through a window. He saw what was happening, but he couldn't touch it or speak or do anything except watch and it had hurt watching but from far away because Dark Chou had been sucking all the hurt away so it was more of a dull tingling in his heart when he had seen Yamagawa-sama get broken. And now...

Now...Yamagawa-sama was trying to fix himself because Chou had broken him... Whimpering again, he tried to stop the nervous shakyness that seemed to have taken over his body. "Sorry," he whimpered again, desperate for everything to go back to the way it was, and even if it didn't, to at least pretend it was the same. Because pretend was a game, and Chou could play games because games weren't lying. S-so...so if they pretended everything was the same, then it wouldn't be lying because pretend was a game... "Sorry..."

Tap, tap, tap, tap.

The trim dark brown shoes made soft noises against the floor as he walked along the corridor, the faint sound echoing up around him and fading soon into the heavy cold damp air. He could feel the water just soaking into his clothes, which was bad because that usually meant that somewhere in his room right this moment there would be mould growing out somewhere, like in his books, because they were on the floor because he didn't have anywhere else to put them..

Letting out a sharp irritable sigh and making the curly dark locks sway a little, Tea -- of course, he usually preferred to be called Noah -- shifted the piles of printed sheets he held in the crook of his left arm to his right, grimacing softly at the soft crack as the joints protested. Stupid genes, even more stupid ancestors.. His body was naturally more used to warmer weathers, which meant that his joints didn't to very well in wet cold weather, which was what it was today. And.. and the heaters were broken, which meant more mould and more cracking sound..

"Sorry..." Tea stopped, the brown shoes squeaking slightly at the abrupt motion as the tall male looked around, more than a little puzzled. This was area for the higher-ups' quarters.. Then why was here an experiment---? At least, he thought it was an experiment. Nobody among the upper rank was that young, and.. young voices like that one usually meant that it was new. It was absolutely oozing newness. And Tea didn't like new experiments sneaking in around this part of the facility. They might.. ruin something. Not to mention that he'll get a bit of credit if he caught the little thing.. He tilted his head slightly, dark eyes sweeping the corridors from behind the dark-rimmed glasses. It was easy to spot; a blob of pink.

"You," Tea growled as he started towards it, grip tightening on the pile of paper that he was meant to carry off to somewhere which he had momentarily forgotten. "You're not meant to be he--"

Oh no, Yamagawa-sama wasn't talking or moving or doing anything and that was baaad because he didn't know what to do because he broke Yamagawa-sama again and that was the horriblest most evil thing he'd ever done and he was so sorry and why wasn't that working? Didn't apologies make everything better? Why wasn't it working...? He'd apologized a bunch and Yamagawa-sama still wasn't working and andandand it was baaad...

At the sound of a new someone, Chou lifted his head, looking like he was on the verge of tears --had he been able to cry-- and feeling absolutely stricken. He...he didn't know who it was or why they were here or even if they were one of those 'irritable doctors' that Yamagawa-sama had gotten the potion against because Yamagawa-sama was broken and Chou jsut wanted to fix everything up and make it maybe better so it wouldn't be baaad anymore because bad was so not good and it hurt when things were bad because bad was a dark feeling and dark just sucked people up and ate them until they were nothing just like Dark Chou, who was nothing because there was nothing so he wanted to make everything better again. But...but...

"Yamagawa-sama's broken," he whimpered, voice tearful even if his eyes weren't. "Can you fix him?" Because Chou didn't know what to do, because his apologies weren't working and he didn't have any Band-Aids --which also made things better-- so he had to rely on someone else because Chou had broken Yamagawa-sama and didn't know how to fix him back together again which was so bad it wasn't even bad anymore, it was, like, the epitome of bad, so bad it was off the charts and he didn't like being bad...

It was like.. It was like being underwater because all of a sudden it was murky and darkish and Yamagawa couldn't seem to control his limbs like he wanted it to because Chou-chan was scared and he was scared and.. and he wanted to say that he wasn't broken.. just really incredibly tired because.. because he was coming apart everywhere and it wasn't quite broken but it was reallyreallyreally close..

" 'm not broken--" Yamagawa managed to mumble against Chou-chan's hair, but it was kind of faint because his head felt light and heavy all at once, and he wasn't sure if Chou-chan had heard it or not but he hoped he did. And--and he was sinking back again--

Tea stopped abruptly, his coat snapping and whipping slightly around his knees as the experiment -- he was new, after all -- looked up, strawberry eyes looking teary and not teary all at once and.. it was confusing because you couldn't cry and not cry. It was crazy and--wait, did it just say Yamagawa..? He must have heard something wrong, because Yamagawa couldn't have been around here at this time of day. He should be off doing some random slicing bloody things that he liked to do because that's the only thing the sneaky redhead liked and anyways, if he was here then Tea would have known because--

--that's when the flash of red and white and palenessgreen caught his eyes.

Dammit. Dammitdammitdammit. He thought he had known the schedule of everyone around the lab especially that person's because.. because Tea didn't want to seem him around and memorizing the timetables seemed an easier option than making himself invisible, but obviously that didn't work because he was here when he wasn't meant to be here which was bad--

As Tea watched, Yamagawa mumbled something incoherent and slumped against the experiment, bringing some sort of weird grim satisfaction at.. Did the b*****d finally die because if then it would have been really good, except.. there was the experiment with the teary non-teary sad eyes..

It wasn't fair that Master-sama had taken his tear ducts out, because this was a time for tears, and it seemed wrong that his eyes were so dry because maybe if he cried he wouldn't feel so bad but he couldn't and he didn't know what to do because he had tried what he knew and what he could think of --which wasn't much, but it was something and it hadn't worked because Yamagawa-sama was still broken and getting brokener by the minute...

He looked up at the --talltalltall-- man again. "I didn't mean to," he whined, clomping down on his lip. "It was an accident, I swear. But...but now he's broken and I can't fix him..." He --obviously having missed Yamagawa's mumbled mumbleness-- gave a pleading look to the talltalltall man. He didn't know what to do but maybe this one did because he had a long coat of doctorness like Yamagawa-sama did so maybe he could fix Yamagawa-sama, or maybe he knew where to go so someone else could fix Yamagawa-sama because he didn't want Yamagawa-sama to stay broken and have it be his fault because...because then he'd feel guilty and he'd turn again and it'd be so much badness that it was horrible and yucky and terrible and he didn't want to turn the this man just had to help.

Besides, he was a doctor person, right? And...and doctor people were, like, obligated to help, right? That...that was what doctors did...right? B-because Chou wasn't a doctor and didn't know but he was pretty sure that's what doctors did, they helped people, and Yamagawa-sama needed help because he was broken!

"He's not broken." Tea replied rather peevishly -- because his morning paper had not said anything about saving Yamagawa and if it had then he would have immediately gone after the redhead with a spork or something because he didn't want to leave even the tiniest amount of chance of leaving Yamagawa alive even happening -- and slipped the glasses back up half an inch up his nose from where it was slipping slightly. Yamagawa wasn't broken despite what the experiment said because he was still breathing -- Tea didn't want to go near to check but he just knew he still was -- and he had just talked before and so he wasn't broken or dead or broken. "He's just being difficult."

Yamagawa was always being difficult. Always smilinghappyhappyglitterhappiness and even despite the happy smiling there was something off and just darkdarkcold about him that made Tea break out into metaphorical rashes -- though it might as well be real because they were annoying -- and be more irritable. Something about the green eyes and the offness was just wrong and Tea didn't like wrong people because it would make him wrong too--

Tea would have wanted nothing more than to just leave Yamagawa and the experiment where they were right now and deliver his papers and go back to his room to get rid of the damn mould, but.. But now the experiment knew his face and if the word spread that he just left a higher-up doctor -- even though it was Yamagawa and Tea was perfectly justified in his actions for leaving him -- then he'd be in trouble. So the dark-haired male sighed -- and braced himself for the inevitable -- and inched closer to the two, nudging the pink..thing.. to move aside. "We'll go to Kiba-san." Tea didn't know anything about how to wake someone up -- never took that sort of training ever because he couldn't be bothered -- and even if he did he wouldn't because it was Yamagawa and there was a nagging feeling at the back of his mind that waking up someone from this kind of unconsciousness somehow involved kissing of some kind and he didn't want to kiss Yamagawa-- So, it just left the other creepy guy in the hothothellishness that Tea didn't really like either, just because.. because Yamagawa went there a lot and Tea wasn't sure why he went but if Yamagawa went there a lot then he won't go.. but now he had to...

...difficult...? "B-but..." But Chou had seen Yamagawa-sama break and shatter into a gazillion tiny little pieces of brokenness. And...and a gazillion little pieces wasn't being difficult --Chou didn't think-- because difficult was a-lot-harder-than-easy and Chou wasn't sure but he was pretty certain that being difficult didn't involve lots of lots of little pieces. But...but this one was a doctor person too, and obviously knew Yamagawa-sama, s-so maybe this person knew Yamagawa-sama better than Chou did because this person had been with Yamagawa-sama longer, which brought a funny sort of feeling to his chest, but he swallowed it down because he didn't have the time to worry about funny feelings because Yamagawa-sama was difficulty broken.

Wordlessly, he scooched to the side at the other one's urging, leaving Yamagawa-sama in the hands of...of the other one. Chou wanted to ask his name, but...but now wasn't the time because Yamagawa-sama was broken and Kiba-san needed to fix Yamagawa-sama or else Yamagawa-sama wouldn't stop being broken and it would all be Chou's fault because he had done the stuppid stupidness and turned and made Yamagawa-sama broken which was so bad that he should be immediately later because it was that bad but right now...right now they had to go to Kiba-san's yuckyickynastyhothothot office to save Yamagawa-sama from being broken.

But...but Chou would be able to handle the yuckyickyhotness because Yamagawa-sama was broken even though the other man said he wasn't but Chou just knew he was because Chou had broken him. Not that he was going to tell that to the other man, because the other man was a little scary and intimidating and didn't seem to like him much and might not be much too very nice if Chou said that Yamagawa-sama was broken again and might even hit Chou if Chou got too annoying so he was just going to keep quiet and try not to be a bother because Chou didn't want to be hit because after all, being hit hurt and it made him feel bad and it really really hurt, deep down inside somewhere. So he wavered quietly next to Yamagawa-sama, dropping slight hints of glitter on the floor that were a dark murky sad red that weren't happy at all because he had broken Yamagawa-sama and he wouldn't be happy glitter again until he knew Yamagawa-sama was fixed again.

There was this weird shifting motion like he was flying or in a laundry washing machine or or just plain swirling and-and Yamagawa would have said something about it because it made him dizzy and not reeeally in a good way, and he would have said something if it wasn't for the stupid blocked-throat thing that only made him make some other sort of noise which wasn't cool at all..

The green eyes half-opened then shut back just as quickly again, because his vision was swirling whitetandarkpinkblackred and the whirling mix of colours made his head hurt, like he had a hangover -- which he did, much too often -- and.. and this wasn't Chou-chan and it smelt different like.. "...Tea-kun?" Yamagawa managed to croak, fingers tightening feebly on the blindingwhitedammitgown of the other's but lacking enough strength, sliding off against the male's shoulder.

"Shut up." The tanned male replied testily, dark eyes narrowing as he staggered a little under Yamagawa's weight. It wouldn't have been so bad, except that Tea had yet to eat breakfast -- the assistants didn't really get any sort of time -- and he had missed out on dinner last night too, because he just couldn't really bother eating it. Besides, it was pork. Tea didn't like pork-- "Shut up before I drop you back."

He roughly knew where Kiba-san's office was-- after all, he had to know where everyone was so he could deliver random things like that pile of paper which was going to be left there till he picked up later and.. and he had to get back there quickly not because he was worried about Yamagawa but because he wanted to deliver that pile of papers as quickly as possible, because then he could go and do something more productive than lugging the scientist around everywhere.

"You," He tilted his head slightly and shifted his hold on Yamagawa -- stupidstupidstupid -- fixing his eyes onto the pink experiment. "You, follow me." There, two problems solved. Obviously the pink thing knew Yamagawa and Tea didn't so the redhead would take care of the pink thing once he woke back up, right? So then he didn't need to find the pink thing something else somewhere else to stay and that meant more things to do...

"H-hai!" Chou followed, in part because he had been told to --this one didn't seem to hold back orders as much as Yamagawa-sama-- and partly because he was slightly-more-than terrified of what this one would do if he didn't obey. Sure, he had to obey, but even if it had been asked as a question --which Chou found he didn't always have to obey-- he knew he would have snapped to attention and done as bid immediately, because this one was scary and big and mean and big and...and did he mention how big? This one was, like, twice as tall as Chou --which might have been an exaggeration but it didn't really feel like it-- and big people always had the advantage over little people and Chou was definately a little people compared to this one.

But at least he knew that this one was Tea-san, because Yamagawa-sama had said so, so...so that was...good? Because maybe Tea-san didn't want his name known all over and...and he was scary...and obviously didn't like Chou or Yamagawa-sama, which wasn't so bad as Yamagawa-sama not liking Chou, because Tea-san was scaring Chou so it wasn't so bad, whereas Yamagawa-sama hadn't scared Chou yet. At least, he hadn't scared Chou in the way that Tea-san was scaring Chou, in that 'I'm-going-to-eat-you-and-spit-out-your-bones-if-you-don't-obey' sort of scariness way.

Silently, he trailed behind, wondering vaguely if Tea-san knew where Kiba-san's office was. Because...because if Tea-san didn't know, Chou knew, and Chou wouldn't mind showing the way because Yamagawa-sama was still all brokeness and needed fixing up, butbutbut he was so scared by Tea-san that he didn't want to say and find out that Tea-san didn't need to know and you eat his head off. Because Tea-san was just that scary and might do it to. Or he might leave Chou's head on but he might hit Chou, which would be bad too, because being hit hurt...

So he just stayed quiet unless Tea-san needed something from him, which Chou would be willingly ready to tell or give if it meant Tea-san might be less scarymean.

[[god. shortpost. X__x]]

For a moment after they started off out to Kiba-san's office Tea had a short kind of panic-attack thing, because.. because --even though he didn'tcare about Yamagawa-- he got worried for a split second because was it a left turn here or right? And the redhead was heavy even though he looked so thin -- not that Tea was looking -- and it was irritating Tea because.. because he hadn't never bothered to carry more than those piles of papers, and certainly not humans like Yamagawa.

But then.. But then it was okay, because he had memorized the facility after all and it wasn't too far from where they were now.. At least, that's what it seemed like to Tea from the map in his head, because it was a scale drawing and scale drawing maps were accurate and didn't make any sort of mistakes ever.

Ignoring everyone else that he passed and the pink thing trailing --presumably-- behind him and most certainly ignoring the dead weight in his arms, Tea simply shifted his glasses higher up -- it was slipping down and everything seemed slightly blurry without it and Tea's head hurt if it was blurry -- and continued down the corridor. Kiba-san's door should be...somewhere in this corridor....

Okay, so...so Tea-san knew where he was going, which was good because Chou was really liking his head right now and didn't want to lose it because Tea-san got annoyedly mad and bit it off. And so now he was glad that Tea-san was in this hallway because then that meant that they were even more closer to Kiba-san's office and Tea-san would maybe go and not be so scaryintimidating.

He was still verily worried about Yamagawa-sama and was muchly anxious that Kiba-san might not be able to fix Yamagawa-sama which would be so very badbadbad but...but he had to hope that Kiba-san could fix Yamagawa-sama because Chou would feel much too guilty if Kiba-san couldn't fix Yamagawa-sama.

Gnawing on his lip, he slipped around Tea-san-carrying-Yamagawa-sama, pausing in front of Kiba-san's door halfway down the hall. He shot a worried look over at Tea-san, because he didn't know if it was okay that he had pointed out the door but he wanted to make sure that Yamagawa-sama got help and would be okay.
PostPosted: Mon Oct 02, 2006 8:43 pm

Okay. They were at the right corridor but Tea wasn't really sure if it was the third door on the right or the left -- and.. and his arms were kind of hurting right now and Tea would have wanted nothing more than to drop Yamagawa on the floor because.. his joints were hurting again and he probably needed a hothothothot bath to get everything back to normal and--and he should probably go and check up on the experiments being held later too, because that's what he had to do and said so on the daily sheetthingy..

The dark haired man paused very slightly, eyes blinking behind the thick-rimmed glasses as he silently mulled over which door to take. Because.. it could be something important and wrong door at the same time, and if he opened the wrong door, than it would be bad because you never opened the wrong door..

That's when he saw the pink thing -- so he was following, after all -- slip past beside him and.. and just stand there, and obviously that was the right door because Tea should have known that Yamagawa took the pink thing off to Kiba -- because he was always at Kiba's office -- and.. and.. A half-sigh, half-smirkinggrinningthing floated on to the male's face as he stepped towards the door, his free hand knocking -- almost a banging, but not quite -- on the door firmly. "--Guess you can do something, after all.."

Hazy gold eyes slid from where they had been staring at a spot on the wall --for the past, like, twenty minutes-- over to the door. He..had a visitor. Just...great. That meant he had to get up and maybe possibly feel even though feeling was muchly overrated and he didn't want to do it right now.

Sighing, Kiba pushed himself to his feet, feeling incrediblyhorribly tired even though it was still so nice and hot in his room so why was he so tired? It didn't make any sense because he felt like it was sososo cold but it wasn't because he knew that it was reallyreally hot just like he liked it. How...odd...

Feeling a slight liquidy feeling running down his chin, he brought his hand up, watching it come away red. Why...oh, wait...that was right. He had bitten himself. He couldn't remember why exactly, but...he had...so...that meant he had...absently, he brought his hand up, wiping the thin trickles away of blood away and leaving the tiny piercings below his lip.

Fumbling slightly with the doorknob --why did it seem so fuzzy? and why did his hand hurt? Was his hand actually blue, or was he seeing things?-- Kiba dropped the deadbolt free, pulling the door open and staring blankly for a minute at his new guests and feeling much too drunk for his own good. Then he shrugged, beckoned them in, and wandered back into the room, ignoring or missing the smoky blue fog that still clung to his legs.

Blink.

Bliiiiiiiiink.

He hadn't had much chance to actually meet Kiba-san before. Mostly because assistants were kept busy running around the labs and offices and outside towns for errands and just being slaved around, but also more because.. because nobody ever reeeally saw Kiba-san. Except for just a few odd deliveries and things, almost nobody went in to the now so-very-notorious office of the scientist. Tea had only caught slight glimpses of the man, and heard even more about him and his office -- mostly about his office -- and didn't think really much of it. After all, there wasn't much chance of them coming face-to-face, right? So he didn't need to worry or pay attention to anything about that guy, right?

But.. Now, his thoughts had changed a little slightly. He knew that Yamagawa was --almostsortofkindofvaguely-- friendly with Kiba-san, but from the people's talks he seemed normal enough to be not much of a threat or any sort of object to Tea to waste any second over thinking. But..

But he looked like s**t, Tea concluded as his dark eyes swept over the bloody redbluetealswirlygreenness of the other male, feeling slightly dizzy and reely as the burst of hot stuffy air hit him, almost making him drop Yamagawa. Pity, it would have been fun, except that there was some kind of smokyblueweirdfog in the room and.. and if he dropped Yamagawa, he'd fall right in there and was that why his hand was blue...? "Um.."

Kiba glanced over at the assisstant, who was still lingering in the doorway. Correction, Chou-chan and the assisstant were lingering in the doorway. Along with Yamagawa, who wasn't really lingering because he appeared to be unconscious and that didn't really count as lingering. "Don't just stand there," he said, putting with some diffuculty his hands on his hips. It was strange because he felt so tired but he wasn't and his body felt oddly heavy and he couldn't really think straight except that he knew he didn't want Chou-chan in his office because...because Chou-chan was pink and there was something so very terribly wrong with pink...

Sighing, he turned back towards the inner part of his office, forgetting temporarily the glass in his hand and running his hand through his hair, a wince marring his face at the action. At least it wasn't seen by asisstant whatever-his-name-was. He did have a reputation to maintain, and showing pain was not part of the rep. Even though that strange heaviness was weighing in his mind and telling him not to care, he was clear enough to not want to break format with anyone. His reputation was annoying, but it was his.

Course, it had probably already been broken, as he knew he looked like crap because he felt like crap, so even though this assisstant guy didn't seem like a gossip or anything, word would probably get out somehow and...

Eh. Whatever...

Resisting the urge to sigh, he waved vaguely at the messy --maybe organized-- clutter of his office. "Put him anywhere," he said, sliding over to one of the many cabinets. He had, by simple deduction, figured this little visit was probably about the completely out-of-it Yamagawa, and while he didn't know what the problem was, he figured he could weasel it out of Chou-chan and fix it up. And if Chou-chan wouldn't spill, Kiba didn't mind trying out various things.

Just so long as he could get them out of here a little fast and just...wallow, or whatever he had been doing. Whatever it was, he hadn't been feeling and it had been nice, so he rather wanted to go back to doing that. Which he couldn't if he had guests. His parents had instilled that much in him, at least.
