Izzy, was able to stop herself and realized that the girl Melody was following them, and she instantly felt bad. She was not being nice to her. She felt the guilt hit her hard for monopolizing everyone's time when Melody was there first. She nugged Sapphire out of her deep thought.

"Hey Melody, what do you like to do?"

Kreig lost interest in the rest of the conversation after he had helped to close up Sapphire's wound. Instead he contented himself with trying to fix his rumpled white shirt, which looked strange without a tie. He began to ponder if sacrificing his tie was such a good idea now. Kreig was so absorbed in his thoughts, he almost didn't notice that a cat had walked right into their little group. Almost. The noise of soft purring grabbed his attention, he looked down, and sitting comfortably only a few feet away was a small cat, perfectly content with sitting right in the middle of the small group Kreig had acquired. Kreig shrugged, guessing it was just another stray that had found it's way in through the gates. Suddenly, the cat talked. Kreig stared at the cat for a moment after he heard it say "Hi!" At first, Kreig thought he must've been imagining things, however, he quickly reminded himself that nothing was impossible at this school. After a moment of questioning himself, Kreig cautiously replied, "Uhm... Hello?"

Izzy wanted to answer Melody when a little cat decided it wanted to talk to the group and well her mind atomically forgot what she about to say. That was the problem with having ADHD, you can never hold a good conversion anywhere other then a empty room in the dark.
Her mind was still pondering over the fact that a cat was talking, when she herd the others noticed.
"Oh my god, a talking kitty, so cute, i want one." She let slip without meaning to. She instinctively went to pick the kitty up off the ground and start petting it, till she felt Sapphire elbow her in the rib.

Kreig blinked in disbelief, even in this school, the notion of a talking cat still stunned him. When she questioned wether or not he was human, his immediate response would have been yes, however, now that he had explained to everyone else he wasn't human, there was no sense in hiding the fact. When the cat had mentioned to the group about humans smelling bad, Kreig absentmindedly sniffed his arm, trying to figure out exactly what he smelled like. To Kreig, he thought he smelled like any normal person, with the lingering scent of axe he uses to wash himself. Kreig's mood changed a bit to a brighter note, changing from seclusive to a bit outgoing to better match the talking cat's mood. Kreig stood a bit straighter, with a new aura of boldness, his arms were now crossed in front of him and he looked directly at the cat. Some might mistake the posture as intimidating, however, Kreig's warm and inviting smile dashed away all traces of cruelty or arrogence. Kreig said in a slightly loud voice, "So, I'm guessing you have a name? I would hate to have to call you 'talking cat' or something equally as dumb. I'm Kreig, by the way."

The fiery tiger stalks its prey in the shadowy jungle.

Koneko looked at the creature named Kreig. "I already told you! My names Koneko!" She replied with mock annoyance. She looked at Melody when she answered her other question. "An Elf? I always thought Elves were those little things that live at the North Pole and help Santa make presents!" She purred in amusement. "Learn something new everyday!" Then she scratched behind her ear, with smoke coming out of her nostrils.


As it slowly creeps up silently on the unsuspected victim, the prey is completely unaware of the danger it’s in.

Melody burst into laughter when Koneko gave her definition of what she thought an elf was. "Yeah, Santa Clause gives elfs a bad name." Melody said shaking her head. "So Koneko, are you just a cat, or can you change into other kinds of animals?" She asked after Kreig finished speaking, when a sudden wave of curiousness came over her. Melody looked over at Koneko with a smile, wondering what she was going to say.

Kreig blinked, once again stunned. Right before his eyes Koneko had turned into a tiger and back again. In a corner of his mind Kreig thought about using Koneko in a magic show, but he immediately cast aside the idea, it wasn't very polite to do such a thing. For a moment Kreig thought about pulling off one of his magic tricks, but he thought better of it, he didn't want to steal Koneko's spotlight. Kreig looked back at the cat, and with mild surprise realized smoke was coming out of her nose, like a dragon. Kreig took a small step back, he didn't want to find out the hard way Koneko was also a tempermental dragon. He didn't exactly believe her when she said she only had three forms. Instead of focusing on the odd smoke, Kreig said, "Would it be too much to ask to see your human form?...Wait, you morph with clothes on right?" Kreig shot an apologetic look in Koneko's direction, not wanting to upset her.
