 "Yes!" Tim cheered, raising both his hands, raising Daren's as well since he was holding it. "I'm so excited. Christmas is the best season. It hasn't snowed though, recently." he made a face, "I hope it snows soon." he walked inside, surprised at the smell and took a deep breath, mouth salivating so fast in nearly hurt. "God that smells so good." he groaned, letting go of Daren to look in to the kitchen, turning on the oven light to look at the bronzed beauty in it. God was it possible to be turned on by food? He left, hearing Daren talk and looked in, "Yea, you can if you want. I don't mind cold lotion." Tim worked off his clothes, watching Daren, "Where should I massage you? Your arms?" he didn't want to touch anywhere Daren wasn't comfortable with.

 Daren shrugged, "where ever you feel comfortable with. go ahead and lay down." he waited for Tim to do so before pouring a generous amount of lotion into his hand. he rubbed them together, warming it up a little, as he climbed onto the bed and knelt next to Tim. "tell me if you want me to stop, ok?" he said softly as he began to massage the lotion into Tim's back. he could feel the tense muscles and began to carefully work at them, turning them to butter under his strong fingers.

Tim moved on to the bed, hugging the pillow under his chin and felt the warm-ish liquid touch his back. He tensed a moment before relaxing, eyes closing. "You're fine, I promise." he murmured, "I trust you." and sighed softly, giving little groans and noises of approval, letting Daren's hands work their magic. It felt good, and he knew Daren wouldn't do anything without his permission. He was safe. "I feel like jello." he admitted, eventually moving his arms to his sides because he felt too much like liquid to keep holding the pillow.

Daren smiled as he moved his way down to Tim's legs, "that's a good thing, you know." he worked up and down Tim's legs before going back to his back, "there, feel a bit better?" he was rubbing Tim's shoulders, but gently now, in a soothing way instead of a working one. "ready for that bath?" maybe Tim will have forgotten about giving him a massage in his relaxed haze.

"I'm supposed to give you a massage." he exhaled, "but, after the bath, when I get my muscles working again." he managed to look at Daren, "You'll have to carry me I feel too good to move."

Daren smiled back, "of course." he stripped as well and carried Tim to the bathroom, putting him down on the edge of the tub before turning on the water. he put in some bubbles and sat down before lowering Tim into his lap. "there." the tub filled with hot water and bubbles before he turned it off. "there, better?"

Tim laughed as he was picked up, clinging the the man and kissing his cheek before he managed to slide in after Daren. "Much better." he leaned against the man, smiling "Does this make us a real couple now, since we're doing the bubble bath thing together?"

A real couple? did tim really consider them that? Daren buried his head in that soft red hair he loved so much and hugged Tim close. could Tim accept him? even now that he was this dirty, flimsy thing? Daren wasn't sure he dared to hope, but Tim had said it- "C-are you ok with me?" he asked softly, keeping hold of Tim so the other couldn't turn to see his face. "am i good enough for you? even as i am now?"

Tim tried to look up, but a head was on his. "Daren?" came the soft voice, fingers gently tracing the arms around his waist. He couldn't see his face. Was he okay? The first question made him relax and smile a bit. "Daren," he leaned back against him, still unable to see his face. "Daren you are more than enough for me. There's nothing wrong with you now, there was nothing wrong with you then. I love you for you. You're all I want."

Daren was silent for a long time after Tim gave him his answer. he struggled with a burning in his eyes, but finally gave in, shaking, as the tears began to fall. he couldn't speak, his throat felt like it was closed off. he just held Tim and cried, fighting to get himself back in control.

Daren was quiet, Tim waiting for a response, any sort of response. He tried to turn his head but he couldn't, Daren would just shift to look away. And then he was trembling. "Daren?" he looked foward, feeling the man tighten his grip and Tim heard sharp breathing. Was he crying? "I love you." he said again, reaching up with a free hand to gently stroke his hair and neck. "You're wonderful to me."

 A tiny sob escaped and Daren's grip loosened. "I-" his voice broke, but he forced himself to speak, "i love you too, Tim." he was whispering, his voice shaking with emotion, "i love you so much. all this time, from the moment i met you, i've wanted to protect you. i've wanted to hold you and love you and show you just how amazing you are." he shook his head, "i've never been worthy of you, i know that, but you saying you love me? i-" he pulled away and smiled at tim, "i've never been so happy in my life."

Tim smile, feeling his eyes water just hearing the tremble in Daren's voice. Oh don't cry. Don't cry. He could remember those blue eyes when he first saw Daren, how they haunted him, and when Daren pulled away he looked up, smiling at how much like water they looked now. "Don't cry. There's enough water in the tub." and leaned forward, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips. "You make me happy too." and pressed another one, hugging him tightly. Daren was worthy, Daren was always worthy. "I don't know anyone else who could be more worthy than you, perhaps I'm not the worthy one." and chuckled.

Daren kissed Tim back, keeping it soft and sweet. "you are. you are more than i would have ever hoped for." he hugged Tim again and struggled to stop crying. "thank you. i know i'm impossible to live with and am an idiot, but i love you." he wiped his eyes and kissed Tim a bit deeper, his hands supporting Tim's neck as his fingers played with his hair, "you are amazing."

Tim's jaw was tight, trying to push back the tears that were apparently contagious. He was going to hide his face until he was kissed again, kissing back and smiling. "So are you." he leaned against the other. "You rescued me, you're plenty amazing."
