Quint Blitzbane kingNitros Meta Ridley flies in* ALMOST THERE! AIM FOR THE POWER CORE! lol. Ridley was a tough b*****d on Hard when I played through it. Even with Super Missiles and the Wave Beam's Missile, he almost killed me on my best attempt... This is a bit off-topic, (As if the last part wasn't.. rolleyes ) but who here's getting a Wii? It would be almost too awesome if we could all play Smash Bros. Brawl together when it comes out.. yeah, he is my favorite boss! and of course I am gettin one! Wii means metroid and metroid makes me happy in more ways than one! lol!

kingNitros yeah, he is my favorite boss! and of course I am gettin one! Wii means metroid and metroid makes me happy in more ways than one! lol! Metroid Prime (Wii) is going to be an amazing game with the special control scheme, actually, all of the games will be. If any of you guys are getting the Wii on Day 1, then I want us to play Wii Sports. Tennis will be my thing. Oh, right. 7 posts left. I would imagine that you could clearly see the meteor from space, catching fire as it entered the earth's atmosphere.

I was wondering why I got so upset about seeing Morrigan all over the place, but I finally figured it out: I have absolutely no pictures of her! It wouldn't have been hard to rectify that, but with all the 'torture' I had to endure, I figured that if I were to become 'upset', I'd get more pictures, which I did.
So thank you Dante, Gatz, and Rioushu, for now I have a decent amount of pictures, maybe enough to last until her return.
In the meantime...
*Roaring with intensity, the meteor comes only mere feet above the three bandits, engulfed with fire and flying in at breakneck speed. Rioushu's Hadoken would thrust him from the focus point, but with the spell's range, and his Feather Fall now taking affect, it would be difficult for him to get out of the ensuing blast from the meteor's impact.*
I'm bored...I haven't had a fight in forever. Anyone want to spar?

You haven't seen how far the two cities are in the FF world map have you? If you did, you'd realize that it easily took me out of a Meteor range of attack. Also, sure, I'm up for it.

Dante. *Eyes the meteor* <.< >.> *Summons Holy* I win! How would that work exactly? Destroy the meteor? Even in the one case I saw this happen (FF7), the entire city was demolished in the conflict. Your best bet would have been either Wall or Reraise... : [ Rioushu, Feather Fall usually causes the unit to move slower than normally through the air, or to the ground. Black Mage could have taken hours to get where he got, but it was only a few moments before the meteor struck near Rioushu. I dunno...that'd be a close call..

In FF7 Meteor is the ultimate attack magic, and Holy is the ultimate defensive magic. Really the two would have cancelled each other out, but Meteor already had a full head of steam and Holy didn't have enough time between it's activation and Meteor's impact to bring itself to full strength. At least that's what I've always thought about the situation.

Ok, so by your view, your late casting of Holy wouldn't have been enough to completely stop my meteor. Espically when you summon *after* the Meteor was supposed to hit..
