Aaron turned to Cassidy. "Perhaps that is true", he told her, "But if there are limits to allies, aren't there also limits to enemies too?". His eyes wavered back at Zane.

"Exactly. My limits of influence are quite small. I can only do so much. And because I'm not suicidal. That is why I still live." Zane said, in a monotone voice. He knelt to the ground and began digging for his weapons.

Aaron watched as Zane dug for his weapons. "I'm sorry, I haven't introduced myself", he spoke up, "I'm Aaron".

Miguel smirked, calling out to Zane. "hey, thief! you wont find them. theyre now the tools of my puppets. theyre beyond youre reach." it was true. they werent simply buried in the soil. they were now carried by his soldiers, which were long gone by now. however, doing that had really taxed Miguel's energy. he'd have to wait a while before doing to much energy use. that is why he still carried his blades.

Aaron glanced at Miguel and smirked. "He's quite overconfident", he told Zane, "One day, that pride of his will be crushed. Do you need more weapons Zane?."

Val had Roselina wait. he used his magic to force the minions of the man up from the ground. he at least tried to pry the weapons up. he really had no idea what was going on but he knew he didnt like fighting.

a skeleton rose in front of Val. it spoke, in a slightly strained voice that resembled Miguel's. "i dont think so." its lower jaw shifted to resemble a smirk.
Miguel himself used his remaining energy to keep the corpses below the ground. they were pretty far away now, so even though it was hard for him, it would be harder still for the half-wolf. he spoke up as he did so. "im not 'overconfident.' im just being honest."
((honestly, in a battle for control of the dead, i think a necromancer would win. sorry.))

((i couldnt think of a word to describe it. he's using magic to force up the corpses, and im using necromancy to stop it. and, in a contest of skill in controlling dead bodies, i think necromancy would win. i mean, theyre just the bodies of the dead, not minions. thats what i meant to say.))

Val gives up in trying to hel pthe stranger and addresses the undead infront of him. he raises his blade in defence. "i was just trying to be nice."

the skeleton shook its head, holding its arms out to its side, showing it had no intent of fighting. "well, he wasnt." he was refering to zane. "thats why we're not giving his weapons back."

"Nah. I can make, or steal more." Zane laughed. "But I have friends whod be happy to help me out." He gathered the small bottle of poison though. Just in case.
