Hanyuu was careful not to touch anything downstairs, though she was looking at some stuff and was examining some things.
The man looked around for a way to get from the tunnel to the house.

The man sighed and started going back to the surface. He would have to wait for some surface movement to continue to track her.
Jake didn't say anything either.

"What she needs is a good cover," Jake said. "She can't stay in the woods for too much longer, and I'm not sure if she can travel with us, and she certainly can't go to any demon clan..."

"There's just the tunnels, where the hunter is in," he said. "And the only way to completely mask her is to lock her down there and never let her out. It's not very hospitable down there."

"She faked her death," Jake said. "To get away from our father. I think he wanted to use her for something...but she ran, and he's been hunting her and sending people after her to bring her back."

"He used to be the leader of a demon clan," Jake said. "He started a rebellion against the current leader, Jace. All I know is he had a lot of debts and problems and was banished because he started the rebellion. And before her death, Sanvi was getting really worried too, like he was going to use her and Hanyuu...that's all I know."
