Sami managed to keep the weak smile up for a moment longer before letting it drop and turning back to the road, her expression troubled.

Sami blinked at him.
"You want me to speed up?" She asked, completely serious. "I'll speed up if you want me to."
Before he could say anything, the speedometer had rocketed up twenty more miles an hour as they blasted down the empty street, ignoring the stop-lights and squealing around corners.

"You're acting as a cop, right?" She asked him. "Then it shouldn't be a problem!" Seeing the look on his face, she sighed and rolled her eyes, swerving to avoid a telephone poll. "Fine, fine. You wanna play it safe? We'll take the back way..." Yanking on her steering wheel, she turned the car ninety degrees and rocketed it into a large back street behind a chain of shops, the car's small frame able to fit inside easily.

Sami rolled her eyes and pressed down a little more on the gas, making the car leap forward.
"See?" She quipped. "Only ten more minutes to go. Piece a' cake."

The police found no evidence in Anthony`s apartment of him being affiliated with the mafia. They found a few guns, but since he was a cop, they weren't anything unexpected.

Sami began tapping out a random rhythm on the steering wheel out of boredom.
"So!" She prompted. "Can we listen to some music?"

Grinning, Sami turned on the stereo using the button in her steering wheel.
"I hope you like it," she stated simply. "If not, I'm sure there's something else."
The CD player kicked on, resuming where it had last stopped.
"You're so cold but you feel alive. Lay your hand on me one last time. Show me how it ends, all right? Show my how defenseless you really are. Satisfy the emptiness inside. Well that's all right - let's give this another try!"
Sami glanced over at Anthony nervously as the sound flooded the car.
