When the hooves smashed into his tiny body Brook let out a pained cry and went sailing a bit in the air. He landed with a light thud and he rolled a few paces away. Brook was a bit confused, he didn't quite understand what was going on, yes he was in a battle, but usually Robin made sure she got the first hit, it was sort of a point of pride with her. Picking up his hurting body Brook glanced back at his trainer and frowned slightly in confusion. She seemed really out of it, she wasn't issuing commands and all her confidence seemed to be all gone now. The two of them seemed to have a second of eye contact before Robin smiled slightly at him.
It was as if Robin had gained a bit of hope back seeing that Brook trusted her. They hardly had battled together but the small pokemon did trust her. Robin could barely believe it but she didn't want to let Brook down for placing his trust into her. Sure she wasn't feeling that much better but damn it she would at least put up somewhat of a fight. "Brook heal your wounds with Synthesis." Her voice wasn't what you would call strong but it was a start, sort of.
Never quite liking to be hurt Brook nodded and started to suck in the sunlight letting it heal his wounds. Just as he started to feel a lot better from the previous attack he felt the Girafarig slam into his body again in another painful Stomp attack. Giving another small cry out Brook held his ground this time and delt with the pain. He was sure that if it wasn't for his earlier Synthesis he would be gone.
"Um... Brook use your Sleep Powder!" Robin called out uncertain but at least trying now.
Doing his best to ignore the pain Brook vibrated his antenna releasing a cloud of blue spores. This should work, the Girafarig was still really close to him so it should go right to sleep. The pokemon did to, the long neck pokemon closed its eyes and let out a small snore. Grinning Brook looked back to Robin to see that a small hesitant smile was on her face to.
Unfortunately their victory was not to last very long as a snort came from the Girafarig and it woke up again. Looking over with wide eyes Brook was confused, that pokemon had woken up much faster then it should have. Maybe the other trainer had used an item to wake it up? While Brook thought on that he felt himself being blasted back by a psychic assault. The Confusion attack hit even harder then it normally would because the poor cottonweed pokemon was already somewhat confused.
That attack would be the end of poor Brooks time on the field as the pokemon passed out under the brunt of the attack. Seeing that her pokemon was out Robin blinked a few times before she felt her little bit of confidence she had gained fall. Brook had trusted her and she had let him down.
"Heh, that was easy wasn't it Girafarig. That girl better send out her Sinnoh pokemon if she hopes to stand a chance against us." The buggy eyed man chuckled.
Robin sniffled slightly as she recalled Brook, when he was back into his pokeball she held it close to her chest as if it was an apology to him. Still there was battle going on, and she could pick another one of her pokemon. Looking back to Luffy with hopeful eyes, she felt her heart fall when she saw that he still had a stern look on his face. Ok so he wouldn't battle for her, well she still had Raz, he had never let her down before either. Reaching for her belt she pulled out the Yanma's park ball and tossed it out revealing the energetic and master of aerial acrobatics, Raz.

With the Heracross now confused Skorupi saw this as his chance to escape! There was no way he wanted to battle that powerful looking pokemon! Turning around the purple scorpion like pokemon started to run away making its escape. Of course it didn't have Run Away and he was against a trainer so it would be a bit harder then if he was with Aidan. The poor pokemon was doing its best to run away fear running through the small bug.
Things weren't going to be so easy for Skourpi though, the Bug Catcher/scary boy, let out a cry and started to chase after him. The Heracross while still confused managed to snap out of it for long enough for it to start to give chase. With a cry both of the two ran after the attempting to escape Skorupi.
Running as fast as his little legs would carry him Skorupi almost started crying as he ran away. This was way to scary for him! Why did Aidan have to use him for this? Couldn't he use Gible? She was always ready for a battle, Skorupi bet that she would have already beaten this trainer and found Aidan's friends. As he ran across the ground Skorupi didn't even notice that he had ran right through the small town gate and into the big city. He really only noticed when he ran into somewhats leg. Letting out a startled cry he looked up and saw that it was a young girl and her boyfriend carrying a parasol.
Oh he must have made it to the town. Blinking his sharp eyes a few times he looked around the bustling and bright town. It was so bright and full of so many people and pokemon. He had never seen anything quite like this! Well, now that he was in town he should try to find the other two, there were so many people it might take a long time to find them... Still he had to look out for a redhead girl in a big yellow hat and a man who had funny hair and thick rimmed glasses. At least that is what Aidan said they looked like.

Serenity smiled as the Ninetails sat down next to her. Bending over was too hard with her ribs all sore so she knelt down and started petting the beautiful pokemon. "He is beautiful." George, who understood his trainer's love for all pokemon wasn't the least bit jealous. Insted he walked over and introduced himself to the other pokemon, and couldn't help but go on about how much he enjoyed having arms.
Sere noticed the landscape of her home town coming into view as she continued to pet the pokemon. 'It seems different now. I wonder why?' She pondered. She looked up at Keegan, who also seemed to be lost in thought, while glazing at the sea side city.
"Is this your stop too?" She asked looking up at him.

Once the boy and his Cyndaquil had found a suitable place for Pizza they each ate about a whole pie themselves. Boys will be boys. Jomei gave his fire type some much needed water from the bottle he had purchased earlier and ordered a soda for himself, happy that this one didn't feel the need to be defiant. After their meal, the two strolled back onto the busy streets of Goldenrod. The city was huge and seemed to swallow them up, there'd be no navigating this place without a map of some sort, even if you had been here on multiple occasions before. Jomei had no reason to navigate through the enormous city however, and proceeded Southward towards Route 34. There were plenty of signs along the way, pointing them in the right direction so that they wouldn't get lost.
About an hour of trekking through the city later, they finally found themselves on the route they had been looking for. Pavement began to slowly turn to grass, while streetlamps to trees, as the city faded into wilderness. As the two traveled a familiar building came into view. The yard in front of the building was closed in by a fence, while several Pokemon played in the grass behind it. "The Day Care." Jomei stated, leaning on the railing. "Mom brought yours and Hades' eggs home from here." he informed the Cyndaquil. The boy peered across the grassy field, tapping his shoe on the ground several times. "I suppose we should keep going..." he said finally.
Pizza nodded with a yawn at the boy's statement, not really very interested. He had eaten a lot and was rather tired out from the day's events, so he made nest in the boy's hair and began to fall asleep.
Pushing himself off of the barrier, Jomei started down the path again, hands in pockets. "I think there's some kind of big forest down this way..." He mumbled to no one in particular. "As long as we don't run into another rabid 'tree' I think we'll be fine."
"Hey, little boooy!" an all too sweetly familiar voice called.
The purple haired boy twisted the top half of his body around faster than the speed of sound to face the direction that the voice had come from. This action caused the fire mouse to be thrown from the boy's head and land in a patch of nearby grass. The lovely figure that he was met with almost caused his eyes to melt right out of his head. The beautiful blond that had rescued him was now standing before him again, still sporting mile long legs, golden hair, and all that other amazing stuff. He felt his mouth gape a little as the women drew closer, and had to use his hand to put it back in its rightful place.
"Ah, it is you." She said, removing another cigarette from her pocket and lighting it up. "I wasn't expecting to see you again so soon, J."
Jomei watched as the beauty blew a ring of smoke through pursed lips, still unable to muster up any words.
Meanwhile, Pizza angrily pulled himself from the grassed and glared in the direction of the humans. Why did this women always change his master into a gaping idiot? Not that it was too much of a change, but still. Not wanting to even bother understanding people, he covered the distance that he had been thrown and crawled his way back to Jomei's shoulder.

The clear wing pokemon appeared in midair and did a small flip in the air before turning to face his opponent. Unlike Brook Raz was a bit more independent but he still relayed heavily on Robin a lot. Despite what she thought Robin was an important part of the team. Each and everyone of them relied on one another they all just didn't know how much they needed one another each other yet.
"I thought you were going to use your Sinnoh pokemon." The Buggy eyed teen complained. "Tch, I don't want to battle a weak trainer like you anymore." He recalled his Girafarig. Walking over to Robin he stood over her and gave her a disappointed look. " I thought since you had a new Sinnoh pokemon you would be good. If that is how you battle I am amazed you have even made it this far." That being said he walked away with his not even scratched pokemon.
Raz who had been looking forward to a battle seemed to wilt in midair. He didn't get to do a lot, Luffy took care of a lot battles and so he tried to take advantage of every time he could battle. Pouting somewhat Raz flew over to a very sad looking Robin and landed on the ground next to her. He didn't want to go back into the pokeball, he wanted to stay out for a while maybe he could cheer her up a little?
Robin couldn't believe that the other trainer had just decided to not even finish the battle with her. She would have sent Luffy out if he had wanted to! When Raz flew over to her she stared at the cute little Yanma and sighed, well she had to get Brook healed up, and if the little Yanma wanted to stay out he could. "Ok, lets get Brook to the pokemon center." Raz brightened up and flew up to land on the back of her head, he liked being outside of his pokeball. So Robin, Raz, and Luffy who was trailing behind them walked through the sliding glass doors once more. Going up to the counter Robin couldn't bring her eyes to meet the kind nurses. "Can you please heal my Hoppip?" She muttered.
Nurse Joy just cast a somewhat worried look at Luffy and a confused looking Raz before putting on a friendly smile. "Of course I can." She took the pokeball and started to turn away before she spoke up again, this time a bit hesitantly. "Robin you look a bit down. How about you go take a walk near one of the lake sides? That usually cheers me up when I am feeling down."
Glancing over at the nurse Robin thought about it for a moment. "All right." With that taken care of Robin turned around headed out of the pokemon center Raz on her head and Luffy still on the counter. Robin didn't really notice but Raz did, the Yanma looked back but felt reassured when Luffy just waved him on. So leaving the Ambipom behind Robin and Raz headed down to the Cerulean lake front.

Kasiya finally arrived at the bottom of the stairs, her chest heaving from all the physical exertion. She glanced behind her, now seeing that only the one guard and his Lickitung remained. Okay well that's good... 'cause I still have Seto and Casimir and he's just got that thing, she thought, once again readjusting her backpack. Seto was growling angrily, obviously not pleased with the situation they were in right now. Casimir, on the other hand, remained silent yet very alert. His crimson eyes glared angrily up at the Pokemon hobbling down the stairs after them.
"Lickitung, stop them! Rollout!" the guard shouted. The Lickitung pulled in its massive tongue and began to bounce down the stairs, tucking its arms and legs in close to its body in order to gain more momentum. As the Pokemon rolled down the stairs, its body suddenly began to glow with that telltale, bright-white glow. Kasiya's eyes widened at the sight of the Lickitung's sudden evolution, and though there were no noticeable changes from that angle, she could easily tell that it had grown much larger in size.
"Seto, it's coming after you!" she cried fearfully, scrambling for her PokeDex. "Get out of the way!" The Persian's eyes were wide as well and even as he made a move to get out of harm's way, the newly evolved whatchamacallit slammed into him with tremendous force as not only was the Pokemon's sheer size against him, but gravity was as well. The Persian's pained yowling echoed eerily throughout the stairwell, and though the hit had been massive the Persian got back up to his feet, obviously quite angered at being squashed a second time. Casimir let out a low growl, his eyes flickering as he initiated his Future Sight ability. Even though he still didn't care much for Kasiya's other Pokemon, he did not like seeing his comrades get hurt. Kasiya's hand was trembling a bit as she pointed the PokeDex at the bigger, rounder version of Lickitung, though when the machine came back with not even a name as well as the flashing message of 'no data' she shook the thing harder before shutting it and jamming it back into her pocket. "What is... this?" she asked quietly, watching as Seto threw back his head and let out the most ear-piercing, blood-curdling Screech he could muster. Kasiya winced from the sound, wishing Seto had done anything but make that horrible noise again. "You guys can take him, you're much faster," she said encouragingly as both Pokemon prepared to attack again.
=-=-=-=-= Jaeshan found himself walking a little more cautiously than before, mostly because he didn't want to get jumped by another trainer. He didn't like that this place was so dark - it made him feel quite nervous. I guess they train in the darkness or something... the blonde thought, scratching his chin idly. In the faint light he could see the corridor he was following branched either to the left or right. Jaeshan frowned, but decided to head left, though he didn't get to take more than three steps before two shadowy figures emerged from either side. One was a fairly large, muscled man wearing crude, cutoff jean shorts and a dark blue tank top (though its colour was indiscernible in the current low-light conditions), and the other was a girl, wearing an outfit much like the last. Jaeshan took an apprehensive step back.
"We saw what you did to Laura's Meditite," the man said, pounding a fist into his meaty palm. "Now it's time for a little payback."
"Prepare to battle, Blondie," the girl said, adjusting her light purple ponytail. "We're a cut above the last trainer you battled," she informed him. "Daisuke and I are gonna teach you a lesson." She flung a Pokeball, revealing a fully evolved Primeape.
"That's right," Daisuke said, a serious look set in his steely grey eyes. He too sent out a Pokeball, and right away Jaeshan recognized it as a Machoke.
These two are serious, Jaeshan thought, suddenly wishing he had Victreebel here with him. He sighed heavily and released both Butterfree and Nidoking, both of whom looked mightily ready to rumble.

Our happy little crowd made its away along Lilycove's southernmost harbors before coming to its peaceful sandy shores. The beach here, M.A. noted, was considerably smaller than Slateport's, but seemed considerably quieter too -- then again, the city hadn't just hosted a beach gala.
The brunette and her three Pokemon chose a random area -- the beach here didn't provide any umbrellas for reference -- that turned out to be a half mile or so away from Mitsu and her crowd. Not that M.A. would have noticed, anyways, for there were other people on the beach too. Diego woke up (when did he fall asleep?) due to Maxine's halt, and slid off her back sleepily after giving her rump an appreciative pat; the Tropius jolted slightly, surprised, but more amused than offended. The Painter Pokemon reminded her somewhat of her mate, who had returned to his trainer after the first two of their three hatched. The egg in M.A.'s arms was their third, and Maxine had made a promise to its father that she'd see to it that it would hatch and find a good trainer too.
But moving away from this obscure Pokemon, we return to Diego, who stared at the beach and the city surrounding it with some awe. Aye, this was the beach from two years ago; the people here had done a miraculous job of rebuilding their little nest around it. Yes, he had been in Lilycove before, during that terrible stormy madness so long ago. His master and himself had stood at that far-away little ledge -- there -- and Diego could still remember now the man frantically trying to capture the scene of whipping wind and rain and fire, the destruction brought upon a hapless city. It was utter chaos; the raging wind threatened to cast the thin man himself into the boiling sea below. Diego could see, so clearly, the man's pained expression as he heard the screams. But what could he do to help the people except paint their miserable shrieks and make eternal their agony? They would never be forgotten, never die, in his painting. So, under Diego's Protect bubble, the man painted with a urgent passion that he never could repeat, and even when his shield broke down the man positioned his body to protect his art from the unrelenting rain. Diego helped him all he could, tried to recreate his green bubble but could not make it last more than a few seconds. But they would not retreat. Art was a sacred thing to them.
And the painting was a masterpiece. Or would have been, anyways, if the man finished. Instead, his bloodshot eyes happened to snag on a child swimming after his Pokemon down in the waves about twenty feet or so below their ledge. The waves were overwhelming the small kid, though, and he was surely drowning as much as -- if not more -- than the Pokemon he was trying to save. Diego watched with shock as his master put his marvelous painting aside, said that he could not watch and simply add that boy's life as a mere dot on his canvas. Horror filled the Smeargle's eyes as the Pokemon tried to reach the painting, watched it shudder before flickering away into the storm. Even more horror flooded through his expression as he realized just what his master was trying to do; Diego barely managed to catch the man with his straining wings jumping over the ledge. His master did not struggle, had no strength to, only let teardrops and rain flood down his defeated face. It had all been in vain, hadn't it been? What would he have done anyways, had he reached the child? He was not strong enough to make it back to shore with a child and a Pokemon in tow, and neither was Diego.
So the child presumably died, just as the hundreds of others did, but the master never forgave himself for being unable to save even one life that day. He, of course, did not blame Diego for rescuing him in the least and continued his life as cheerily as he could, though he never again mentioned the horrors of that night. Diego, however, never could understand why he did what he had done. The Smeargle would come to disapprove of his master's tendency to interfere with his artworks' topics; he helped too many of these selfish human beings, got nothing in return. That rift eventually exploded on some trivial argument just days before his master had planned to leave on that little scouting ship to Sinnoh, and was the reason Diego did not accompany him. Watched with a sour expression as the man waved in the distance, promised to return soon, would bring back lovely souvenirs if Diego would only wait, would he forgive him for his foolish eccentricities?
But Diego loved his master, waited a tortuous year on Slateport Beach for him. Day and night, leaped up at the sight of any boat coming in. Trainers in passing sometimes tried capturing him, but each and every one of them were quiet stupid, really, and Diego had no trouble deceiving them to escape every time.
One day, he decided that if it had been in his master's power to return, he would have, and thus decided it was the time to stop waiting. Then he ran into that smiling, air-headed brunette and that blue cotton ball with that beautiful voice, and he decided that the girl was as good as any to help him achieve his goals. Didn't seem to have a harmful bone in her body, was willing to help out without any strings attached since it wasn't particularly out of her way. And so, though he hated humans, he had found himself in the company of another. She wasn't too bad though, maybe.
By now, Diego had painted an abstract portrait of the Tropius, and was hence cured of any further dino-infatuation. He showed Maxine his work -- the Tropius seemed to appreciate it -- before sitting a foot away from M.A. in the sand to stare at the ocean. Are you out there? he wondered.
Mary-Anne looked at the painter, could make no guess of what he was thinking. It was a lovely day on the beach, though; she might as well let everyone out too! "Come on out, Tora, Daemyn!" she grinned, sitting on the beach with her legs crossed and the egg in the space in between. It'd been a while since everyone had come out all together, after all, so she figured it might be nice. Maybe they could help her charm Maxine, for she wasn't exactly sure how she might go about proving her trustworthiness here.

Crenu opened his eyes when he was finally satisfied with where his thoughts had come to rest. Something about space time and the consistency of steel types pokemon's bodies, nothing to really be bothered with at the moment. Instead he decided to actually get to warming up as he intended to do from the beginning before going off to find the center. "Fist thing's first, who am I gonna use...guess it depends on how many pokemon the gym leader wants to use. Well, I've only got three to choose from in reality. Snorunt's to weak to participate in a gym battle right now and Hitmonlee might not listen to me and end up costing me the match. If the leader here wants to use more than three pokemon, I'll just have to make sure my first three get the job done on their own. Ariados, Pupitar, Poliwhirl, get out here." He said calmly as he tapped his first three pokeballs, all three of them releasing their contents in a bright white light. His three top pokemon stood before him awaiting the next order, with the exception of Poliwhirl who was sleeping again. Ariados poked him with her legs until he woke up, confused as he looked around only to realize that something was going down. Crenu sighed at the sight of this, but continued. He may have been a big clown now, but Poliwhirl had become strong since his evolution and as a bonus had become a tad more violent, both of which were to Crenu's liking. "Enough, we're a gym battle coming up. I don't know what kind of pokemon this trainer uses nor what to expect of them in terms of strength, but I am confident that we can destroy whatever is thrown at us. Fist thing is first, you need to warm up and get ready for battle. Get into position, Ariados has a new move to get down while you two still have to get use to your evolved states. Poliwhirl seems to have adjusted well to his new limbs, I wonder if it'll be that easy for you Pupitar to learn how to do the opposite. Now, into positions." His pokemon scurried across the sand, which was especially awkward for Pupitar who couldn't walk. Instead the hard shelled pokemon had to move around by venting gas from its body like a jet stream. This was somewhat difficult, but the determined Pupitar that would not fail his trainer managed to get around. Before long he had managed to securely move about with a light hover until he came to rest on a good spot in the sand awaiting for the attack. Poliwhirl was not as still and stoic as Pupitar, he simply couldn't be. Instead he came to his spot and looked at Ariados devilishly as he hopped in place on one foot, then on his hand. "Ariados, Hidden Power!" Crenu was curious to see what would happen, what type of energy Ariados would create with her Hidden Power. Something plain and dull, something useless like poison? Maybe a bug type energy since she had no bug moves of her own, which was odd. Or maybe something bizarre like a fire type attack. Ariados, who was still new to this move, concentrated hard as she tried to bring it forth, not wanting her beloved trainers gift to go to wait. It was slow at first, but orbs of energy flickered into existence around the giant spider's brightly colored body before vanishing. Growing ever nervous that Crenu would judge her badly she tried again, this time conjuring yellow orbs that pulsed with electricity. The orbs shot out towards her two teammates rather quickly. "So it became an electric type move. Interesting. Dodge it!" Pupitar shot upwards with a powerful jet of air, but was still caught by some of the various flying orbs of energy that released their electrical energy all over his body. The electricity just hung around him though and fizzled out completely having no effect on the rock/ground type and Pupitar floated back down to the sand with a light thud. Poliwhirl on the other hand was not so willing to take a hit. He could feel the electricity jumping towards his damp body and wished to avoid it at all costs, running on his hands for a bit before leaping up over two passing orbs and back onto his feet. The orbs hit the sand and he stood triumphant as he had beat ariados's attack. "Heh heh, not bad. Now again. Pupitar, you don't really need to dodge these attacks, but it's always good practice to dodge them anyway. So don't get hit this time."
"Woh dude, why you here playing in the sand when there's some truly gnarly wavage to be caught out in the water?" Said a voice that seemed to come out of nowhere at first. It was in fact the voice of a rather large man that dwarfed the reasonably tall Crenu and who at second glance had a solid build. The man could see the confused look on the blond boys face as he failed to comprehend the surfer lingo and smiled. "Sorry bro, guess you're not a surfer then. Names Brawly, wicked pokemon you've got there."

There was no slight of hand that could protect the Linoone now, so the Rush Pokemon braced for a millisecond before taking the beautiful attack head on. Blanca made a tiny little gasp, visibly anxious to see if her little baby would make it out of that powerful storm intact. And alas, it would appear so, although by quite a small margin. The Linoone was breathing hard, leaning on a fourth leg whilst standing on the other three. The Leech Seed around her body glowed, and the Pokemon grunted, temporarily falling on its other front leg before willing itself to stand up once more. Would it be too heartless to have her go on one more move? Blanca wondered to herself. It was almost suicidal. No, she would not drive a Pokemon on until it has wasted itself to almost nothing. "Return, Linoone," the acting Gym Leader said, trying hard to hide the resignation in her voice. "You've done a mighty fine job, sweetie; let Blissey do the rest. Oops! I've just revealed my next Pokemon, how unprofessional," Blanca laughed merrily at herself, forgetting her moment of uncertainty as quickly as it came.
With the element of surprise or no element of surprise, Blanca had quite some faith in her longest friend, and so sent her in with a bang. Here was one move she dared not have Blissey do too often, and it was safest at the beginning. "Focus Punch!" the green-haired woman commanded confidently, watching her beloved pink friend suddenly dash towards the twirling Bulbsaur with surprising speed for her pudginess. Of all her Pokemon, she had worked with Blissey to have her become the most well-rounded partner, and the girl watched proudly as the Happiness Pokemon charged up her punch and prepared to slam into her opponent hard.

Hades could tell that Junko was still bothered by something as she bit the tip of her right hand glove angrily. It wasn't like her to stay mad at something for an extended period of time, so her figured she'd return to her usual happy self soon. Noticing the Olivine Gym coming into view, he floated ahead a bit and called out to the distracted girl, who had been focusing intently on the ground at her feet.
"Huh?" she questioned, looking up. When she realized that they had made it to their destination a smile began to play on her lips, washing away a bit of the aggravation she had felt prior. "I'll race ya there!" she challenged the ghost, taking off in a sprint towards the Gym.
Having an advantage of being airborne, it was no surprise that the skull face Pokemon beat the young girl in their relay. He touched his ghostly hand to the door, confirming his victory. He had to admit that she was getting better however, she almost beat him.
"Your...lucky...I went...easy on you..." Junko said between pants. "Well, here we are." The two studied the building for a brief second, after which, the young girl threw open the doors without so much as a knock. "Hellooooo!"

The streets of Hearthome were busy with hustle and bustle throughout. Skyscrapers loomed over its inhabitants, who were busy going about their daily lives. Weather it was to make it in time for an important business meeting, training with Pokemon, meeting someone special at a nice restaurant with flowers in hand, preparing to be the best coordinator at the contest hall, and so on and so forth. People came and went all around, hurriedly checking their watches and honking when some jerk cut them off. It was loud and obnoxious, but that was the beauty of the big city.
A rather young looking woman, wearing a cute black and orange dress, boots, a cape that came to a point at the bottom, and two yellow clips in her short purple hair, stood before the famous Hearthome Gym. Was she looking for a challenge to earn the rumored Relic Badge? Heavens no. Who had time to waste battling such an annoying old hag for some piece of tin? The woman was here to gather certain information and that was all. She hated to have to come here of all places for this, but knew deep down that for the information she was searching for, there'd be no place better to look than here. She'd, of course, never admit to such a thing. If she really wanted to, she could figure out what ever she wanted to know herself, it'd just be a waste of time to do it that way however. That's right, she didn't need this place. In fact, the members of this gym should be glad that they'll get the chance to see what a trainer with real authority looks like. Hah, they should be honored that I'm gracing this horrible gym with my presence. She thought, a goofy smirk playing across her face. She took in a deep breath and reassured herself that she didn't need any help, it would just be quicker this way.
The caped woman slowly pushed the door to the five story building open. She gradually made her way in, cautiously putting her right boot inside the archway, followed by the left. Air rushed by her and through her hair as the door behind her closed itself of its own will. Not startled in the least, she began to stroll through the completely blackened gym like she owned the place. As she traveled deeper into the depths of the building she noticed faint red lights blocking out a clear path around the floor. Upon closer inspection the woman found these illuminations to be cute little Duskull lamps. She smirked at the sight of them, they were rather precious. Perhaps I should steal some and give them to my daughter... she thought for a second, but quickly dismissed it. There was no time for stealing from someone she hated right now, maybe later. She surveyed the area around herself a tad more, but when she was unable to really see anything, the woman continued on her way. Man, why do Pokemon Gyms always have to be so convoluted like this? the purple haired woman questioned in her head, If I were to ever make a Gym, it'd be simple, yet still amazing. This is just unnecessary. She brought her skinny fingers to her chin and pondered for a moment. In terms of completely unnecessary, Pryce's Gym in Mahogany would take the cake. I remember wanting to just melt the whole damn place and just swim across to get to him.
"EEE-YAAAH!" a disembodied voice screeched.
The woman watched in amusement as a shadowy figure leaped in front of her from behind an equally shadowy wall. Soon after, a bright light was shined in her face. Through squinted eyes she could see that the figure was belonging to a young and eager girl, probably just a gym trainer.
"Huh? Weren't you scared?" the young trainer inquired, somewhat annoyed. Her face contorted behind the light when she noticed that the invader hadn't even moved a muscle at her well rehearsed entrance. The woman just stood there, seemingly uninterested, pretending to bite a nail. "W-well, I guess you're here for a gym battle aren't you?" she asked, a little intimidated by the pretty older woman(Not that she really looked that much older). "You'll have to defeat me, Molly, first! Hah!" she threw a sphere to the ground, releasing a cute little Misdreavus in front of her.
The woman smiled a little at the sight of the ghost in front of her. However, she didn't feel like wasting time on this and flipped her flowing cape over her shoulder. "That's cute and all," she began, "But I'm just here to speak with the Leader. Can you just take me to her?" the woman asked, putting her finger to her pursed lips.
"No way!" the girl barked back, "To battle the Leader, you gotta be able to beat me first!" she explained excitedly, obviously itching to battle.
The caped woman sighed heavily. "Look, I don't want to battle your Leader..." she tried to explain, but when the girl showed no signs of letting her pass by, she gave up. "Uggh, fine. But don't be sad when it's over in one hit." The woman then released a pokeball of her own to the floor. A very happy looking Gengar emerged from said ball, flashing its trademark toothy grin.

The town seemed to be back to a somewhat bustling state, people were walking going about their business. It seemed like while contests were impressive they didn't seem to be the biggest part of this town. When they were over everything went back to normal as if nothing had ever happened. It was also the middle of the day and everyone who went to the contest people probably skipped lunch. Robin herself would probably be pretty hungry if she wasn't feeling so depressed. On her head Raz was looking around excitedly and enjoying the breeze on his face. Going over to the bridge Robin sat down on it dangling her feet over it, the tips of her sneakers barely touching the water. "Hey throw another rock at it!" Came a little kids laughter from a bit away. "Haha ok, I bet it won't even notice!" There was some more laughter and a pause before a thunk was heard. Robin had wanted to spend some quiet time out here alone with Brook and those kids were interrupting it. Looking over at them Robin intended on giving them a nice glare in order to shut them up, what she saw though caused some of her old confidence to surge to the front again. There was a small group of boys near the beach who were throwing rocks at some pink pokemon that was fishing with its tail. The pokemon didn't seem that smart and just kept the dopey look on its face as a rock hit it right on the head. Robin watched as the boys exploded in laughter again. Robin didn't know what that pokemon was but she did not agree with anyone being treated like that, ok so it kind of reminded her of her self. "Raz how about we give those boys a bit of a scare?" She asked with a small grin. Raz just grinned down at her and nodded in agreement. "All right how about you use your Faint Attack and appear right in the middle of them. Give them a good scare." She still had no idea why he knew that move but hey she would use it to her advantage. Sitting there until she felt Raz fade from his resting place on top of her head Robin got up and watched as he appeared in the middle of the group. The 'poor' boys screamed and started to run away in fear. The happy little Yanma did a flip in the air and laughed excitedly. Feeling Raz's excitement Robin trotted over to where the happy Yanma was and let him land back on top of her head. Well now that she had her own pokemon back and the other pokemon was defended. Speaking of the other pokemon Robin turned her attention to it. It had a few bruises on it but it didn't seem to notice them, instead it had the same dopey smile on it's face. Robin was a bit confused as she looked down at the pokemon, squatting down next to it she reached into her bag and pulled out her pokedex. Flipping it open she watched as the screen loaded in a friendly sort of manor, on her head Raz scooted down a bit more eager to see what was on the screen to. When it was ready Robin pointed the device at the pink pokemon and watched as it loaded up the information. Slowpoke The Dopey Pokemon (Raz snickered slightly at the name) 3'11" 79.4 pounds Own Tempo- This pokemons mind is so slow that it just prevents confusion. Slowpoke uses its tail to catch pokemon in nearby water sources. It often forgets what it is doing though and spends the whole day loafing around. A Slowpokes tail secretes from its tail which a lot of pokemon seem to like to munch on. The pokedex went on to list a bunch of moves but Robin wasn't to concerned with those. Shutting the pokedex Robin slipped it back into her bag and stared down into the dopey pokemons eyes. The slow pokemon just looked back up at her and the two of them just stared for a long moment. Robin felt some sort of connection to this pokemon, the way others seemed to look down on it, its not so intelligent eyes, she knew she wasn't the smartest. For whatever reason it was Robin knew that she and this pokemon were the same. "Hey there little guy." She said with a grin. There was a long pause as Robin's words went through the other's head and then another moment as it responded to them. "Poooooooooooooooooke."

Almost as soon as she had lit it up, Eva threw the barely smoked cancer stick to the ground and gave it a good stomp. "Sorry," she said, "Old habits die hard." She figured that she probably shouldn't be smoking around children.
"U-uh, it's a-alright." Jomei said finally, stumbling with his words. As the boy spoke, he found his gaze leaving her emerald eyes and settling on her well endowed chest, almost of its own will. He quickly forced his eyes shut and and tilted his head downward a bit. Stop that! he yelled at himself inside his head. She'll definitely notice! The boy slowly began to open his right eye again and was shocked to find the woman's chest almost inches away from his face now. Tripping over his own feet, he fell over backwards, knocking Pizza off of his body for the second time.
"Actually, I'm glad I ran into you again..." she started to say, rummaging through the messenger bag she slung across her shoulder, seeming to not notice the boy's over dramatic reaction. "I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this, bit I think I'll give it to you." She explained, as if Jomei should know what 'it' was.
"Huh?" he questioned, quite intrigued. What was this thing? The key to her heart? If only. Of course having only known the woman for less than a day, he figured it'd be nothing like that. Probably some useless junk she doesn't want anymore. He thought, looking to the ground in disappointment before the 'it' was even revealed.
"Here you are." Said Eva, holding an oval shaped object in her soft hands.
"You're giving me... A Pokemon egg?" Jomei inquired from his grounded position. His face turning to utter surprise, not expecting that from the woman at all.
"Yes, I don't have the time to care for a baby Pokemon right now. You'll take it wont you?" she asked politely. "I'm a pretty good judge character, and while you're a bit... weird, I think you'll be able to take care of it."
Completely ignoring the semi-insult thrown at him, he happily received the egg from her offering hands. He gripped it tightly, not wanting it to fall, and gave it a good look over. "What kind of Pokemon will hatch from this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's a secret!" she said, putting her fore-finger up to her lips as to make a 'shh' noise. "I think it'll suit you though." she laughed. "Whatever you do, don't drop it..." she paused, looking the boy up and down as if to permanently burn his image into her retinas. "Or I'll kill you." Eva uttered coolly, without a detectable hint of sarcasm.
Jomei could feel himself sweat a bit at her words. Heh, she's j-just kidding... he thought, gripping the egg tightly and bringing it close to his body.
Pizza climbed his way back to the boy's shoulder again, starting to get really annoyed from being thrown to the ground repeatedly. He began to sniff the new object in his partner's hands, also wondering what type of Pokemon would hatch from it. It had better not be another fire type, he was not about to be shown up.
"I've had it for a while, so it'll probably hatch soon enough." Eva informed her young friend, reaching for one of the many spheres on her belt. She released Beast in a flash of light once again and proceeded to climb aboard.
Jomei couldn't keep his eyes from the woman's scrumptious behind as she made her way on top of the giant dragon. He felt no shame, he was a man after all. And if she put it out there, who is anyone to tell him not to get hypnotized by the pure perfectness of it. "W-where are you going!?" he called out once the bottom was out of sight.
"I'm heading to Sinnoh." she answered, giving the Salamence a pat on its neck. "It's opening up to trainers for the first time tomorrow, I don't want to miss the boat." she informed with a coy smile. "See you later, J." Just like that Eva and Beast were in the sky, then out of sight.
Jomei frowned as the beautiful woman left his life again. A bit sad, he kicked a rock in his path and began to walk again, holding the egg firmly. I can't believe she gave this to me, he thought excitedly, smirking like a fool. She must really like me.

Seto's Screech, while being very annoying to both the humans, didn't seen to bother the Licki-thing as much as Kasiya would have hoped it to. She backpedaled until she was at the emergency exit door, but when she pulled on it, she found it to be locked. "Why is an emergency door locked?!" she cried, pounding on it with her fists. She wheeled around in time to see the big pink Pokemon slam into Seto once more, and the feline collapsed, having taken the majority of the damage thus far. "Seto!" Kasiya wailed, holding up the Persian's Pokeball with a shaky hand and recalling him into his Pokeball so that he would be safe from further harm. Meanwhile, the pink ball of a Pokemon was still using its Rollout, bouncing off the walls and getting stronger with each rebound. She knew that if it were to connect with Casimir, it'd be all over. "Use Double Team to confuse it," she commanded suddenly. Casimir nodded, crouching low to the ground before he seemingly jumped in all directions at once, the real Absol narrowly avoiding being crushed by the large Pokemon. The miss sent the Lickilicky (those of us OOC know what it is, obviously ;D ) crashing into the wall, thus breaking its momentum and causing it some pain in the process. Kasiya used this temporary distraction to look at the door again, and with an embarrassed chuckle she realized she'd been pulling on it instead of pushing. "C'mon, Casimir!" she called, stepping outside into the cool, night air of Saffron City. The Absol shot another fierce glare at their pursuers before following his trainer through the door, though the guard and his Lickilicky were still right behind them. Kasiya turned to face them, having had enough of this chase for the night. "Let's have a real battle," she demanded suddenly. "If I win, you'll leave me alone! And if you win... well, you win. Deal?"
The guard pondered the offer before a moment before he nodded. "Fine. But I'm not holding back just 'cuz you're a kid," he growled. "Get ready, Francis!" Luckily the Lickilicky had a nickname, otherwise he'd have a bit of a problem until he found out more information on his newly evolved Pokemon.
"I wouldn't expect anything less," Kasiya replied, giving the nod to Casimir, who eagerly rushed onto the small area they'd chosen for their battlefield. "Alright Casimir, get in there and use Bite!" The Absol growled sharply before he raced towards the Lickilicky.
The Licking Pokemon let out a perturbed grunt as Casimir's fangs found their way into the plush flesh of its left arm, and as damaging and painful as the attack had been, it left the Absol wide open to a counterattack. "Wrap attack, Francis!" the guard shouted. Francis glared down at the silvery Pokemon biting him, lashing his long, pink tongue out and wrapping Casimir up so tightly that he couldn't move.
=-=-=-=-= Nidoking let out an earth-shaking roar when he realized he was in for a battle, and his powerful tail slammed against the ground anxiously. Jaeshan sighed and closed his eyes. He really didn't want to be getting into these battles right now, he just wanted to find Brawly and challenge him to a match. He slowly clenched a fist and opened his eyes, deciding he wasn't going to waste any time. "Okay Butterfree, start off with Tailwind! And you, Nidoking, use Focus Energy! Let's make this one quick!" Butterfree chittered excitedly and did a loop-de-loop to position herself behind Nidoking, and she flapped her wings quickly, causing a warming gust of wind to blow from behind them both. Both Pokemon glimmered ever so slightly as they gained a speed boost for the next bunch of turns. "Excellent," he grinned, already liking these new moves gained by his Pokemon, watching as Nidoking stomped his feet and pumped up his adrenaline.
The two muscle-heads didn't seem to care about the new move nearly as much as Jaeshan did, and they too were quick to give their Pokemon commands. "Machoke, you use Focus Energy too!" Daisuke commanded firmly. The Superpower Pokemon flexed its arms and forced its muscles to bulge, giving it an adrenaline boost as well.
"Primeape, you attack that bug with your Fury Swipes!" the girl, Hitomi, shouted. The Pig Monkey Pokemon hopped up and down angrily and Jaeshan was sure he could see steam coming from its ears as it charged forward, leaping up at Butterfree and slashing her several times with its claws. Butterfree let out a bit of a cry but pushed herself upwards, glaring down at the Primeape. Jaeshan smirked a little - this wouldn't be too difficult.

A ringing melody caused Blythe to lose her grip on Haruka. The little girl plummeted down to the concrete ground, barely landing on her feet, but falling over on her bottom anyway. "Owww.." she whined, glancing down at her left wrist. The screen of her pink Pokétch displayed a Starly flapping its way back and forth, gripping a letter in its talons. Blythe poked the screen and the letter opened. However, instead of a letter, a man's face appeared on screen. Blythe yelped and quickly jumped up to her feet, putting her hand above her eye in a saulting pose. "Hello sir!"
"Have you gotten the pictures?" A grumpy-sounding man's voice inquired.
"Yes, sir! I got a whoole bunch of pictures of some really strong trainers. They even drove the Rocket-boss away! And Cynthia was here too! And Rowan-" The voice grumbled impatiently. "..Sorry sir. I kinda got carried away, hehe.."
"Yes.. hurry back." Blythe gave a nod and the screen went blank. "Alright!" Blythe reached for Mireille's poké ball and released the Snorunt. She looked up at Blythe, then around at the empty plaza, then back up at Blythe. Blythe reached down and placed the Snorunt on her head. Haruka kinda floated around above. "We're off to Sunyshore! ♪"
