Caradoc chuckled and stepped back to stir the noodles. "I don't quite get it, either." He said, sighing when he realized he had to pull his hair back to cook better. This coming-of-age was getting more and more inconvenient by the day.

"Would you like some help," Arlen offered, waving goodbye to Silent.

Caradoc turned the heat off on the stove and shook his head, "Noodles are a pretty low-maintenance dish." He explained as he carried the pot over to the sink and into a colander. He shook the water out and poured them back into the pot with some butter. "Did you want any kind of sauce?"

Arlen shrugged. "It doesn't matter," he saidleaning back a bit. "I just need something hot and full of carbs. Oh! How is Tomo's daughter doing?"

Caradoc nodded and dished some up, setting the plate in front of Arlen with a fork, "Pretty good as far as I know. The guy never stops talking about her... Not that I would if she were my daughter. Cute bugger, you know?"

Arlen nodded. "I've only seen her a couple of times, but she's really clever too."

"Don't I know it..." Caradoc murmured, getting himself a glass of milk. "She's really skilled with magic, too. Already mastered some transfiguration!"

"Really?" Arlen said, starting on his pasta and pretending like he knew what transfiguration meant. "What can she do so far?"

"Tomo said she can turn a lot of small objects into other small objects and she's already working on an animal form to revert to." Caradoc explained, taking a few small sips of the milk. He'd only tried it one other time and he wasn't sure what he thought of it.

"That's cool," Arlen said nodding and continuing to eat his pasta. "This is very good, thank you."

Caradoc beamed proudly, "Thanks! I'm glad you like it." He said, finishing off his milk. He set the glass in the sink. "Let me know if you want any more."

"No thanks," Arlen said, setting his fork down on the empty plate. "I'm still not used to eating a lot."

Doc nodded, "I understand how that goes. I'm still not too keen on the whole eating thing, just yet." he said, remembering that he could use a charge. He backed up and sat down on top of the counter by the coffee pot and phone and plugged himself into the outlet.

"Ah." Caradoc murmured, resting his chin in his hand. He blew his bangs upward and glanced around. He'd run out of things to talk about.
