Ms runs fine for me...i'm Elfarya on MS and im currently stilla bigger but i'm lvl 10 im training up on the beginnger island thingy so i can become and archer when i leave... sweatdrop

Just a few tips for you guys on Maple.

To become an Archer, Warrior, or Thief, you have to be exactly level 10. To become a magician, you have to be exactly level 8.

Along with the level requirement, for an archer, you have to have 25 points in DEX. For a Warrior, you have to have 35 points in STR. For a thief, you have to have 25 points in DEX. And for a mage, you have to have 20 points in INT.

Now here's where it gets a little bit confusing.

If you're an archer, you don't want any points in the LUK or INT stats. You want them to be as low as possible. Depending on if you specialize in normal bows or crossbows, you'll either have medium STR and medium DEX, or you'll have low STR and high DEX.

If you're a warrior, you don't want any points in the LUK or INT stats. You want them to be as low as possible. To do a warrior's stats correctly, you need to multiply your level by 2, and that's how much DEX you should have. For example, if you're level 15, then do ( 15 * 2 = 30 ). You should have 30 points in DEX at that time. All the rest of your points will go into STR.

If you're a thief, you don't want any points in INT. Depending on if you're going to specialize in throwing stars or daggers, it gets a bit more confusing. For a throwing star thief, you'll do as the warrior does. Multiply your level by 2, and make that value your DEX. This time, the rest of your points go into the LUK stat. If you're a dagger thief, you must ask yourself. Which type of dagger do I specialize in? There's two types. STR daggers, and LUK daggers. If you choose to be a STR dagger thief, then you'll have just enough STR to use your daggers, medium DEX, and medium LUK. If you choose to be a LUK dagger thief, then you'll do just as the throwing star thief does. You'll multiply your level by 2, and make that value your DEX, and then put the rest of your points into the LUK stat.

Finally, if you're a mage, you don't want any points in STR or DEX. You want those to be as low as possible. For a mage, you take the number of your level, and add three to it. You make that number the value of your LUK. For example, if I'm level 13. ( 13 + 3 = 16 ) I would have my LUK at 16 at level 13. The rest of the points go into INT.

A few more tips: Never increase your HP or MP with stat points. It's a waste, as you gain HP and MP each level anyway. Always use your points when you level up. Never save them for another time to use, as you get more HP and MP depending on your stats when leveling up.

I could get into correct skill builds as well, but I'm afraid I'd confuse you guys way too much, though it'd be helpful if you want a good character. Because if you end up making a mistake on your character, it's going to REALLY hurt you in the long run, and it'll be suggested that you start over. If you guys want skill tips, let me know. ^^~

Well if it's the items you're worried about, don't be. I was planning on helping you guys out with those anyway. This is what I would personally suggest. Tell me what you think about it.

1: Delete your character.
2: Remake your character, and when rolling stats, try and get INT and LUK both as close to 4 as you can. If they're both 4, then that would be perfect.
3: Level up to level 10, putting 25 points into DEX first, and then the rest evenly into STR and DEX. Make sure you're using them every level.
4: At level ten, find your way to the mainland.
5: I'll be there to direct you and turn you into an archer. ^^~

Edit: And by helping with items, I mean giving you guys a bunch of potions and a full starting equipment set. mrgreen

I'll buy you a new pair of amethyst earrings. 3nodding It's better to start over now though, because you only need a few hundred experience points to level up. For me, it takes over 300,000 points to level up, and that's over 4,000 enemies to kill with the experience they give.
