Tomo yawned as he walked downstairs. His hair was mussed and his ears were limp. Everyone knew the boy was not a morning person, but it seemed more evident, today. He walked behind the bar and forced a tired smile on his lips. "Morning, Tal." He greeted, getting himself some much needed tea. "Can I get you anything?"

Tomo finished his tea and set it to the side as he walked back to fix Tal a sandwich. "What are you working on?" He asked, waking up a little more as he got to work on his Famous Sandwich Recipe. He finished it up with an olive on a tooth pick and walked it back over to Tal, setting it down in front of him.

"New body?" Tomo asked, completely oblivious to the fact that Ellie was okay ((I think. sweatdrop )). "You mean Ellie can come back?" He asked, eyes shining with hope. "Oh! Bai must be so excited!" he paused to tap his chin, "So I wonder why he's been hiding in his room..." He shrugged, "Anyway, how long d'you think it'll take?"

"Moooonths?!" Tomo ((And SD)) whined. His ears went limp as he let out a dejected sigh. He glanced toward the stairs and shook his head. "Maybe I should go check on him. I don't even know if he's eaten yet."

Tomo nodded and rested his arms above his head. "I know, I know." He murmured, eyes towards the ceiling. He blew his bangs upward and glanced back at Tal. "Just as long as it's done right. We need our Ellie back." He said with a resolute nod. He walked behind the bar to get another cup of tea. "I'm going to bring this to Bai. You can come if you wanna. It might be nice to see a level headed person around here... You can tell him your plans and such.

"This god damned hair is so in the way!" Shadow growled at the mirror as he hacked away at the strands with a moderately dull pair of scissors.
You are not going to succeed. Do you know how many times I tried to cut it? Baizou thought dully. Shadow wasn't really posing any danger, so what was the point of taking control right now?
"Shut up! I can get you under control. This stupid hair is nothing."

Tomo walked upstairs and knocked on Baizou's door. "Bai? You okay in there? I brought you some tea."

"s**t." Shadow muttered after the last lock of hair fell to the bedspread. He gathered all of them up and dumped them in the waste bin. "Come in!" He called, flopping back against the bed as if he'd just been laying there all day.

Tomo pushed open the door and stepped inside. "Hey. When're you going to get out of bed? You need..." He trailed off, setting the tea on the end table. "Bai, you seem different."

"My hair was too hot for the summer. I found a way to keep it short." Shadow murmured, crossing one leg over the other. He looked Tomo over. He had a good heart. That made for a tasty soul.


Tomo nodded absently as he walked to the window to open it. "Get some fresh air in here, at least." He said in a scolding tone.

Shadow rolled his eyes and stood up, slinking over to Tomo. He thrust his hands out and the door and both windows slammed shut, locked. "I am a bit... hungry." He murmured, turning on all the lights in the room. He now had a clear view of Tomo's shadow.

"Now, now. That's not terribly nice." Tomo murmured, totally calm. "Baizou, are you all right in there?"

Baizou shoved his soul forward, making the body's eyes flash green for a few moments. "Tomo!" He struggled, desperation on his face, "He is stronger than I though! I cannot fi-fight it long!"

Shadow held his head, eyes returning to blue. "I told you to shut up, brat!" He muttered, before grabbing Tomo by the collar of his shirt and throwing him onto the bed. His shadow started to move on its own, holding the arms of Tomo's shadow so that he couldn't move. He smirked at the panicked look on the blonde's face and climbed onto the bed, strattling Tomo's waist. "Don't worry. I'll make it so it doesn't hurt." He purred, curling his tail around Tomo's. He pushed up the other boy's t-shirt to expose his chest and ran his fingers over his ribs.

Tomo tensed up and blushed, trying to struggle free, but his arms absolutely could not move. He was pinned there, helplessly. He didn't even have any snappy comebacks like he usually did. For the first time in the Muffin, Tomo allowed true fear to show in his eyes.

Shadow bent down and kissed Tomo's left pectoral, sending a numbing sensation around the area. He rested his hand on Tomo's chest and was pleased to feel his heartbeat slow down and his expression relax. "Good boy. It'll be over, soon." Shadow cooed, stroking the boy's cheek. His fangs extended and he bent down to pierce the skin over Tomo's heart. A silvery glowing liquid spilled from the wound in place of blood and Shadow lapped it up eagerly. Already, he started to feel stronger as Tomo's soul filled him.

Tomo panicked and relaxed at the same time, becoming more at ease the more his soul left him. Memories left him. People. Place. Personality. It all slowly became fuzzy and faded away until... Rhiannon. She passed through his mind and lingered for a few moments before beginning to fade as well. Wait! Where is she going? No! You can't take her away! "No!" Tomo finally vocalized, "Bai! Help!"

Shadow rolled his eyes and picked his head up, "Honestly, you're almost dead, just hold on a bit."

"Bai! Ellie's coming back! You have to be strong for when she comes back!" Tomo pleaded.

"I cannot!" Baizou cried, arms going weak. The shadow let go of Tomo's, "I cannot do this by my-myself!"

"I'm really sorry, Bai, but..." Tomo swung his arm and punched him across the jaw before skittering out from under the boy. He stumbled to his feet, much more dizzy than he realized he'd be. He stumbled to the door and broke it open with his foot, setting a seal around it to keep Shadow in. With his last bit of strength, Tomo sighed and passed out on the floor.

Tomo stirred and reached up to rub his forehead, "That didn't go so good." He murmured, fighting a massive headache about to form. He opened his eyes and stared up at Tal, who had been locked out before he had a chance to walk in. "Did you hear all that?"
