Ever nodded, with a small smile. "Ah, yes. Did you mention Elisan to her? Just asking, anyways. How is she?" Ever asked, smiling weakly, and crossing his arms, as he smiled up at his boyfriend. What a charm, this simple boy was. But, sometimes it was as though he had not noticed that anything had happened at all.

Caradoc bit his lower lip. It almost looked as if his eye was about to water. He buried his face in his legs and covered his head with his hands, "'E 'oesn' know 'era 'oooooi!" His muffled, unclear voice replied.

"Whaaat?" Ever inquired,whiole his hand slid up and down
doc's back. "Tell me about it.. upstairs." Ever said, gathering his boy into his own arms. "Let us go charge up there."

doc's back. "Tell me about it.. upstairs." Ever said, gathering his boy into his own arms. "Let us go charge up there."
Caradoc nodded and held on to Ever as he lowered his body energy enough to safely pull the plug. "I'm gonna be a little floaty till I plug myself back in. I'm in a sort of... safety mode I guess." He looked down, his one eye focusing in and out. "Are my legs on the ground? I can't feel them..."

Arlen fell up out of the portal that formed at the Muffin's front door, staggering slightly underneath the dead weight of Crystal's unconscious body. He smiled upon seeing the familiar and welcome sight of the building and looked over to Lily and the strange woman to make sure they arrived alright.

They both had, Lily smiling up at the woman, who was already standing and offering the teen a hand up. "Well... welcome home, Arlen." she murmured softly, turning to him and smiling.

Arlen returned the smile and reached out his free hand to Lily. He was fully aware that she could stand on his own, but he wanted the contact.

However, glad as she was to see him, Lily wasn't sure she did... not while she didn't understand what the hell had just happened, not while he was carting around the unconscious woman who had just tried to kill them both. She gazed at his hand a moment, then at the woman's before finally accepting his, standing up and then dropping his hand. "Shall we?" she murmured, then headed into the Muffin, beckoning for the strange blue woman to follow.

"Yeah," Arlen said softly. He realized that he couldn't expect things to be as they were right away, but it still hurt. Quietly he walked in after Lily, making a detour to an empty couch to lay Crystal down.

Salindara, sensing trouble brewing between the two, paused in the doorway. "I will go, and find a place to roost for the night." she murmured, bowing to Lily. "I will return on the morrow, lady, and we will talk." Then she turned and walked outside, shutting the door behind her. She took a deep breath, then launched into the air, keen eyes searching for a suitable place nearby to make her home.
"Goodnight." Lily called to the woman, heading behind the bar to start some tea. "Do you want anything to eat, Arlen?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder at him, the same hurt he felt echoed in her eyes, along with confusion.

"Yes please," Arlen said, walking over to his and Lily's usual couch, flopping down to it unceremoniously and murmuring a quiet greeting to it. He wanted to be with Lily, but that look in her eyes killed him inside.

Lily nodded, watching him walk away, then sighed and headed into the kitchen. Several minutes later, she came back out with a bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich; walking both over to the couch, she sat gingerly on the edge, offering him both, wishing she couldn't see Crystal.

"Thank you," Arlen said, sitting up and taking the food. "I should probably explain huh?" He asked as he took a bite of the sandwich.
