Well Proto, the way things are progressing you may just have to accept Qyp as new "daddy". Though I never quite understood why K was "mommy" in the first place. She's never quite struck me as the mother around here.

And Aruil, Kenk is daddy. It's also an old joke only the old Crewmen understands. ;D (Carlos is "big brother"...we used to have uncles and aunts (Brom-chan, Kitsune), and even a pet dog, but they left.)

Oh no Proto, I'm aware of most of that background. I've spent some time lurking in several old archives. A few of which have been deleted altogether, or hidden, since I joined the guild. But she still never quite seemed to really have that mother-like feel. You on the other hand...

No, we're at each others throats too much for that. Her and I are more like siblings. But to everyone else she has the motherly aura. Whereas I'm that uncle that everyone hoped would have gotten lost on the way to the family Christmas.

Hm. I'd have to disagree.
If you've ever been in the crew discussion forum, you'd know what Kouri was the one always gently pushing things along without being overly aggressive. Very Mom-like.
Likewise, you'd also notice Proto is more of that aunt that you avoid direct eye contact with, because then she is screaming at you to do things. While you sob and try your hardest, she is hovering over you, making sure you don't ******** up.
Kidding. But srs.. You don't make direct eye contact with Proto >.>
