Lily made a face, then grabbed an apple. "Happy?" she asked, then took his hand. "Want to go sit on the couch while we puzzle it out?"

Arlen nodded, and gave her hand a squeeze Before heading over to the couch.

She curled up on the couch, eating the apple slowly though she didn't really have an appatite. "So...what do we know?" Lily sighed and answered her own question. "Almost nothing, if I remember correctly."

"Well we know that something is causing you to have unnecessary high levels of energy and something is causing me to be unable to eat while also causing me to temprarily lose my sight and hearing, and possibly causing me to collapse as well," Arlen said grimly. "My guess that the cause of at least my thing is magic. And there aren't many people I know of who could and would do something like this."

"I actually want to talk to you-know-who about mine." Lily told Arlen, a little regretfully. "See what he thinks about the whole pendent thing. He'd know if that helped. My affliction, so far, isn't dangerous, so we can kind of shove it aside and deal with yours." she paused, thinking, and put the apple aside. "I agree with you, magic is probably at the route of your...condition." Thinking, she tipped her head to one side, speaking gently. "You said, once, that you were being hunted. Could they have anything to do with it?"

Arlen nods. "Their the only person who I can think of." Other than Vincent, he adds to himself. "Four years straight of running and all I get is a few months of rest before they show up," he grumbles.

Lily reached out to take hand, attempting a reassuring smile. "Well, if you think it's them, just point the way and I'll rip them to pieces." she joked, though there was a glint of seriousness in her eyes.

"Right now, they're the only suspects we've got." Lily whispered, then snuggled close to Arlen, needing to be close to him. "You don't think it was using the keystone with me, do you?" she asked softly.

Lily shivered and hugged him tightly, chilled by the thought. "Does seem like something the b*****d would do." she admitted softly, remembering some of the experiments she'd seen, both with her own eyes, and those of Cerridwyn and Vincent.

"It easier to undo spells when you know who cast them, sometimes." Lily murmured, then sighed. "But you're right. If you're not drinking either than dehydration is going to become a serious concern soon, even more than food." she chewed on her lower lip, then made a frustrated groan. "There's gotta be something I can do...I just....I can't think ove anything..."
