The girl shook her head. "I don't have a home," she replied, looking to the table. Acacia sighed before shrugging a shoulder. "I guess I'm homeless. I don't even know where my mom is, and I know my dad wouldn't want to see me show up at his house..." The girl took another drink of her milk. "He's like, never there anyhow."

Candycane Scartissue Do you care to explain? Jadyn asked as he looked to Lena. You seem to have endured some rough times. If it's too personal to talk about, I understand, we have only just met, he said with a small blush. Lena said with a bit of a laugh. Drake's eyes opened and he replied through a forced smile, "I can't blame you for feeling homeless, I felt that for some time when I arrived here. It's just not the right feeling." He stirred his frappucino anxiously as he said "I still don't feel like I have a home at the apartment. I'd be better off alone."

Well, for all the schooling, lessons, doctor's visits and operations, yes, it was very, very expensive, Katia said with a slow nod. But it is fine, we did manage and I am healthy as a horse! she chimed.
Oh? That's terrible. It's really too bad when things don't work out, Jadyn said sadly as he sighed. Was there any particular reason it didn't work out? Did you fight, was there someone else...? he asked.

Healthy as a horse! Constantine repeated with a laugh. I guess that's a.. metaphor? The boy shrugged, wondering if he used the right word.

Yyyyes, that is correct, Katia laughed. I guess it's meant to comment on your high stamina, and strength, she laughed. At least, that's how I'd refer to that.

Stamina... Constantine shrugged a shoulder. I feel really... really stupid, the boy laughed nervously. I don't understand very much of what you're saying. He looked down. Sorry.
Heh, at your place? Acacia blushed slightly before taking a drink of her milk. I wouldn't want to... what's the word? She looked to the ceiling and sighed. Intrude...?

"Intrude?" Drake looked at her with confusion. "You could never intrude there. There are some many intrusions that live there anyways." He smiled and fiddled with his fork a bit. He glanced around for awhile.

Don't worry about it, Constantine, Katia said with a smile, before leaning back in her seat once more, her arms moving from her sides to behind her neck. How are you feeling?
I bet it's hard when there's someone you care for and they can't decide if they want you or someone else, Jadyn said, taking a breath before forcing a smile. Not that I'd know, I've never been in a relationship, but I can guess...

Are you calling friends intrusions? she asked with a small laugh. Or are they not friends? Acacia tilted her head some before eyeing the cake for a moment.

"It was hard, but I've stopped worrying about it. Even if he decided he wanted to be with me again, I'm not sure I could ever really trust that he wasn't thinking about the other girl. So I'm just not going to bother with him anymore.... It's hard for me to believe that you've never had a girlfriend, or boyfriend depending on preference..." Lena said with an awkward laugh "you're so sweet, and definitely not bad to look at... it's hard to believe that you're single."

That sounds... Feasible. Well, I guess there have been opportunities, but before, I guess my shyness made it practically impossible. Most of them... Jadyn said, scratching the back of his head. I don't know. Girls are a foreign species to me, I don't know what I'm doing around them! he chuckled.

Angelica sat at a table in the coffeehouse, with her cd player placed in the center of the small table made for two. Angelica tapped her foot to the beat of her music, humming as she doodled on a small napkin and sipped her coffee. Angelica was tired from the nightbefore, and hadn't got much sleep- but felt better now after a fresh latte.
