Well Ive read both roans and elfy's stories. I never got around to seeing bards, but elfys is a work of fiction or at least thats what it seemed to me. I do agree personal stories should be in your bio.

Its my job as a mod, roan gave permission for it to be a sticky that hasnt changed and finally its not a personal profile story its a work of fiction. You can just choose to ignore it rather than just b***h about pointless things, again.

I havnt read it and have no opinions on it, nor did I ever once say it shouldent be in the guild.

However, stickying it, shows a play of favorites.

Tear, you have been warned about how you talk to people by me before. Please dont forget that I wont tolerate plain rudeness in my guild.
Secondly, I have already said to Ky in the past why we have those stories in here and it is not favouritism - you want to write a work of fiction, I will give it just as much attention.

This guild is NOT just for RP. It is is for all of the people I call friends to hang out, to chat, to RP and to express their creativity. There is NO harm in that creativity being expressed through story. I personally admire Elfy's talent to write, ESPECIALLY when she is from another country and English is not her native language. And as for who reads these stories, its not just the creator.

The character Bio's profile isnt meant to be too long as most often those bios are only swiftly accessed by people prior to a fight in rp or for some other tidbit of information. A massive story at the bottom of each persons post would make this quick access impossible.
Gaia was never designed by the admins or mods to be a restrictive site, and if you cant be unbiased about what counts as creativity, then please dont bother accessing the guild again.
There are a group of us who devote ourselves to this guild, unlike you two, and I will not have you upsetting my regulars just because you dont agree with guild policy.

Basically, if you cant play nice boys, there's the door. Dont let it hit you on the a** on the way out.

whoa calm down our arguements not about whether or not we like your story or whatever, im sure its a great piece of literature. but our main point is if its just a story then why is it stickied? and your right about the art thing, it shouldnt be stickied but it has more of a purpose and more of a reason to be stickied then the background story of someone's personal RP character(im not saying it should be stickied). we have no problem with people expressing creativity through their writing thats no big deal write away if you have to, but what tear and i cant figure out is just why its stickied. the mods on gaia generally sticky threads that other users may find helpful and such. A background story about someones character isnt really helpful to other users, sure its fun to read but its just like making the RP threads stickied(i.e. tournament of champions, tavern between heaven and hell, ect. ect.) it doesnt make much sense as those threads arent all that important as say the general rules and terms of conduct ect. ect.

anyway so to make sure you guys(mainly roan and dragonelf) have understood what i just said in the above paragraph(id really hate for people to misinterpret what i just said), we have no problem with her writing a story about her personal RP character(or anyone for that matter), in fact thats cool, go her and her mad writting skillz, please grace us with your creativity. what we're asking is why a thread that someone has written for their personal RP character has been stickied as it doesnt really seem to contribute to the guild in the way of helping users within the guild. By sticking a thread like that, its almost like your saying that persons personal story about their RP character is far more important then everything else thats in this guild. just stop to think about that for a moment.

tear and i arent critisizing/flaming her work of literature(like you guys seem to making us out to be, god knows why >.> ) we never have nor have we said it shouldnt be here in the guild(yet again, i dont know why you guys keep saying things we never said). and we arent exactly being plainly rude as you claim either roan(except for that little word that tear accidently slipped up on >.> i didnt know you couldnt swear in this guild its not in the rules to say we cant >.>), we're asking a question that you guys dont seem to want to answer or havent provided with a good enough answer besides something childish like, "well if you dont like it, you can leave". dont get upset at us when we question some of the things you guys do, we're not exactly the type of people to just sit by and watch things happen without wondering why. All we want to know is why should threads that people have been made solely for the purpose of creating a background story of their personal RP character be stickied and viewed as more important then other the other threads in the guild if it doesnt contribute to the guilds users in anyway? thats it....just answer that question with a good reply and i'll be happy(something other then like, "screw you get out" or "if you dont like it, leave" would be nice >.>)

Soin short all your saying is that it has even LESS to dow ith the guild at ALL....and that SOMEHOW proves it is more IMPORTANT then we previously thought and even though it as you just said, had nothing to do with the guild or your rp charecter,...it should be stickied?
