Cassie was really concerned she glanced at Chris and then back up at Professor Allen.

"This isn't going to be easy. I suspect that the accident was no actual accident...I think someone sabotaged my equipment. So if you're going to grab anyone else for this trip, make sure that you trust them one hundred percent. My scanners showed that Wally may have 'bounced' around time a bit...which means that following his trail is not going to be straightforward."

Crap...Achilles wants to kill me.
Of course I'm up for it. But I have a couple of...issues. Mr. Allen, we'll do this no matter what. However...I'd like you to do something for us. Will you round up the teachers who oppose Frost's decision and bring a complaint to her? Maybe if enough teachers get together then Frost will change her mind.

"There's going to be a staff meeting later today for the planning of what to do about resuming classes. I will definitely bring it up then. Emma is not a stupid woman. She's very protective of her students and I can't imagine that expelling one isn't tearing her apart, even if you can't tell from looking at her."

I led our team and Patroclus died. Cassie was captured. I'm not fit to act as a lead on this. I think, Cassie, that you need to lead the team.

*Chris sat in the bed and stared at the floor and began tonelessly.*
We were trying to rescue Guy. He was trapped in a nightmare of some type. Raven and a telepathic alien we met named, M'gann, couldn't free him. I was in a rush...all I cared about was getting out of there. I wasn't paying attention to our surroundings.
Hartley was catatonic...
*Chris shuddered as the memories came back.*
A demon was hiding nearby. He attacked Hartley with a blade. Patroclus was the only one who saw it. He shoved Hartley aside and...the sword went right through him. He never had a chance. I caught his body as it fell...I could tell he wouldn't make it. Achilles killed the demon and took Patroclus into his arms. We didn't have a medkit...we couldn't move Patroclus...he was losing blood fast. Just...so fast. And Guy was still in his nightmare. He died...on the floor of that place. Achilles held him to the end.
All because I was impatient.
*Chris wiped some tears from his eyes.*

I'm afraid Achilles disagrees. I try myself it was all Ares...that Patroclus died a hero. He gave his life to save Hartley.
