Cassidy's ears lowered at the newcomers. Two of them walked off nonchalantly, like nothing was going on. That was a bit much, she thought, but it might be smart not to get involved as well. Cassidy could smell the one hiding in the bushes, but she stayed but, eyeing Miguel as he too walked off. It was all she could do to stop herslef from throwing her scythe into his back.

Zane felt to see that his last two weapons, short scythes, or sickles, were still there. They were. Never mess with the man with half an arm and scythes.

Miguel could sense that he was being watched. or, in this case, eyed in particular. it was really just that usual unnerving feeling you get if youre being stared at. his smirk grew slightly. "ive never really been one for the spotlight... but..." he sniggered a little, glancing over at Cassidy, then in the general direction of the other spectator.

Cassidy said nothing, and the urge to throw her scythe came again. Why was it that some comments could make certain people angry? Or maybe it was just the people saying them, she thought to herself.

Aaron shuffled out of the bushes. "So much tension", he said, "Even between allies". He removed a leaf from his cat ears. "This is really getting out of hand." He eyed Miguel.

Miguel turned his glance over to Aaron. "for once, i agree with him." he then turned his whole body, or turned most of the way, to him. "he is no ally of mine."

Miguel slowly sank into the earth. he really didnt need to be part of a disussion like this. he had business to attend to. he resurfaced behind a tree, just a few yards from where the rest were. he needed to come up with his next move. this is where his strategic personality really showed.
