That was exactly my reasoning. See the Chinese GD for a very good example. In a lot of respects, Vajra is much too much like Hawk McKrakken (very good member, but occasionally excessively abrasive), and we all know how his modship turned out (unless you don't, in which case you can probably guess from the context).

When listing names, please separate them with commas. :XP:

Everyone edits instead of quotes at first, oh yes. Once someone had typed out a long post, and I edited it instead of quoting it, decided that it was too long to quote, deleted the message from "my" post, and posted my response. How fortunate that I had the Go Back option on my browser.

Hey, that was my first wanna those in a long time. Gotta cut me a little slack! Nobodys complained to me about it, so I figure I'm not that bad. But remember, I'm totally socially inept, so if I'm being overly abrasive, I probably don't know it.

Though, luckily this guild isn't crazy enough to be in need of heavy mod-ship. I'd be smart enough to not be nasty in matters that actually, well, matter. All I'd do is use the powers to invite members anyhow, and thats easily doable in other ways, so I'd rather remain true to my nature and be grumpy and opinionated, I'd feel fake otherwise.

Allow me to clarify: it's not that I thought you'd be a bad mod, I just thought that Lawrencew would be a better mod, and I only really needed one. razz

Yeah, I know. And I agree. To difuse a situation in politely and unbiasedly, Lawrence is a better guy than me.

Though I hope I'm not quite as nasty as Hawk, sometimes he was arguing over absolutely nothing, like that time with me and him about German for some reason. Though, I suppose I probably have never had a good reason either. domokun

Hawk isn't nasty, just opinionated. You're certainly milder than him, but you've got some of the same tendencies. razz

The only really nasty member I can think of was Red August, and he's gone now.

Also, go check out the new wordgame. domokun

Ya, I can't deny that. I actually like Hawky, theres just at those particular times when the egos clash.

I think I solved your ゲッス ザ レイングイジ thing too by the way.

Thanks for all these compliments to me guys!

But yeah, all that aside, I never actually realised that Hawk was an argumentative person. And I never really thought Red August was that bad - but then again, I'm bad at noticing these things. sweatdrop

PS. Is it true that Americans think saying 'Brits' is offensive? I hear you guys regard 'Oriental' as a racial slur too.

And also, it is normal to take off your shoes when you're in a house right? There's some thread in the GD saying that people who do this are Japanese wannabes.. I always thought everyone took their shoes off.. Why would you keep shoes on at home? sweatdrop

Perhaps Red August seemed particularly jerky to me; perhaps this is because I (along with cucoriedka and Koko) bore the brunt of his attacks?

Basically, anyone who tried to question him in any way. I believe there was the him-trying-to-tell-the-native-German-person-how-to-speak-German or something like that. Besides that, I don't remember much about him. Except for the fact that he always had to have bright red bold text.

Hey, he was gay wasn't he? That has nothing to do with his being a jerk, just wonder-membering.

Er, I think so. I was more concerned with his assholery rather than his sexuality. :XP:

I'm ashamed to say that I've neglected Aymara as of late. The Portuguese is so much easier than Aymara (though theres no comparison as to which one has moar win.) Though I fully intend to do blast forth into the godly realm of Aymaraness on my own, you should make some lessons for it when you get good enough, so that others might be exposed to its greatness, and also so I can compare and make sure that I haven't bastardized to death what I've learned.
