"Once there was an Emporer. He watched over many kingdoms. He had a huge estate, and everything any man could ever ask for. The only thing he lacked was an heir, a son to pass all of this on to. To have an heir, he needed a wife." Orient begins.

"Now this emporer searched many years to find the perfect woman. He finally did find her though, and they were very happy. The couple was wed within months of knowing each other, but to their dismay, the woman could not conceive a child."

Orient nods. "It's very important." he says. "The couple was very saddened at this. They continued trying though, because the Emperor refused to remarry, since this woman was his soul-companion. Eventually, by some miracle, she bacame with child.

"Her pregnancy was very hard. She was in alot of pain, and was sick all the time. She was told that this baby would kill her by numerous physicians, but she refused to allow them to kill it. This was her baby, her miracle baby.

"She died after giving birth to her baby boy."

"This boy lived his whole life, with his father blaming him for the death of his mother. It wasn't his fault, but his father treated him like something dispicable, because he'd taken that woman away.

"The boy had an excellent education, learning many different languages, written and spoken, he knew the geography of all seven seas, and he knew the histories of his nation, and all the others around him. He was not stupid.

"The only solace he had away from his father was a little rowboat he's made from a fallen hollowed oak. He'd spend the hours that he didn't have tutors on the sea, in his little boat, dreaming of the life he might have away from his father's kingdoms. He practised his mapping skills, and his fighting skills, excited for the day when he was old enough to leave the palace, and all the responsibility behind.

"When he turned seventeen, that day had come."

Orient nods, so that even if there is someone listening, they won't know if that's true or not. "That's why I got so upset when you were so close to finding out last time. It's my life, if the wrong people know."

"No one can know." Orient says desperately. "I don't want to go back to that life, even if my father would take me back."

"It wasn't life... not at all. It was pretentious, and boring. Life is far better now. It's not dull, I look forward to everyday."

Orient nods, with a small sad smile. He's truly glad to have been able to tell someone.

"Good." Orient replies. "Because I didn;t want to hurt you."
