Ace felt like Yue thought he was.... stupid, or at least oblivious. The opposite is true. Ace looks away again. "Of course I knew, you can't hide anything from me." His voice had a deep tone, which made him sound annoyed, but not angry. "I have eyes and ears every where, but thats not the point. A squad leader needs to know the abilities and limits of their squad members." Sokato's tone returned to his usual semi-monotoned voice. "Listen, don't worry about it, take it easy." Ace then walks up to Yue and whispers in his ear, "I know you bend water, your secret is safe with me." He then walks off towards the city. "Its really obvious though, so it does not matter."

'Good. He hasn't assumed the worest.'
"I'll catch up as soon as possible." Dropping the pack into the shadow of the tree, Yue hopped into the branchs of the tree. There he was safe.
"Don't worry about me. This won't take but five minutes. Go to the city. I'll meet up with you there. I promise."
Sitting cross legged, he was facing the tree. His forehead resting against the rough bark.
Shadar felt his body begin to shut down, and begin to enter a state of healing.
The last feeling he had was the warm, moist, wind drag the leaves of the tree against his cold skin. The balance of the forest seemed to still be intact. It would seem the dragons hadn't done anything to the forest.
As his eyes closed, his powers began to take control. Taking in deep, slow breaths, shadar could feel the presence of water everywhere around him. Water that he would fall under his control.
He could feel the very essence of every creature plusing, living.
'I can fix this. Please, Tell me what I am to do?' He asked the water. Somehow, he was expecting an answer.

Matt and Konna merely smirk and move to the back of the bus, they check to see if the roof has the escape hatches like most buses, and as usual it does. Matt pulls out multiple pieces for his sniper and makes them into two pieces, on the one is the barrel and scope, the other is the butt, trigger and stock. Thank god for custom made guns.
Konna smiles and opens a bunch of the windows, all of them are done so that none of them can be seen in the bus but they can see out. She sticks her head out one but opposite Azora, she was on the other side of the bus. She checked the surroundings and sniffed the wind, seeing if there were any nearby threats.

Riku emerges from his hotel room, rubbing his forehead. "Damn, I really need to lay off the sweet stuff," he says to no one in particular, as he climbs into the passenger side of Mike's Fiat.

"What took you so long," Mike says as he begins to drive. "You were supposed to be out here an hour ago.

"Let's just say I had one Moonwalk too many," Riku mutters as he pulls out a water bottle and drinks from it. "Anyways, so what's the job?"

"Hostage rescue," Mike says. "You're goi-"

"Wait, did you say hostage rescue?" Riku sits up straight as he says this. "I'm a SNIPER, Mike. If you want hostages rescued, go call Delta Force."

"That's the problem," Mike tells him. "Delta Force is busy elsewhere, and can't send in a squad. That's why they've called upon you guys for this job. These are ambassadors we're talking about, Riku. If they're executed, we could have a major crisis on our hands."

"I'm a merc, Mike. War means only one thing to me: more money. It's good for business. Besides, ambassadors get killed all the time. They can replace them."

"Look, Riku, I've already signed you up for this mission. According to the job, you have 24 hours before they're gonna execute them. This is a FIVE MILLION DOLLAR job."

"Five million, huh? Fine, I'll do it. Just drive me over to Mikhail's first. Gotta pick up some gear if I'm gonna do this."

Riku sat in the prep room, assembling the tactical HK416 rifle. Across the street, gunfire could be heard in the embassy. Riku listened to the gunfire as he loaded the AG36 launcher onto the bottom of the barrel.

Kalashnikovs, two RPDs and a Dragunov, he thought to himself, just as a strange whistling noise emitted across the street, followed by several shouts and an explosion that shook the room. And an RPG. Terrorists have no class whatsoever.

Finishing the assembly, he loaded a magazine into the receiver, and a 40mm grenade into the launcher. "Alright, I'm set," Riku said to the commander in the room. "Now let me get this straight: hostages are in the offices on the third floor. All three floors are taken, and there's about fifty enemies in there. Is that about right?"

"Yes," the commander told him. "You need to get to the third floor in thirty minutes, before they execute them. Remember: no terrorist leaves alive."

"They never do," Riku said, walking over to a large box labeled, "Saab Bofors, AT4 Confined Space, High Explosive Dual Purpose". He opened it and pulled out an AT4 rocket launcher.

"Riku, what the hell are you doing?" the commander yelled at him. "If you fire that thing at the building, you could-"

"You said all the entrances were covered," Riku said with a smirk, "so I'll just have to make one myself." He walked out into the street, aimed the launcher at the wall, and fired.

KABOOM!!

The wall was blown open by the force of the rocket hitting the wall. Riku threw aside the empty tube and lifted the HK416 to his shoulder. He saw several shapes move inside the gap, before a hail of gunfire erupted from the opening. Riku pulled the trigger on the grenade launcher, and a 40mm HE grenade flew in. The explosion sent the shapes inside flying, and Riku quickly ran into the gap. The two explosions had taken out about twenty terrorists. He went into the main hall, where another ten waited. He raised the rifle and fired a series of quick bursts, dropping the men in the hall. He then ran up the stairs to the second floor, where several more waited for him. He fired at them, before moving into a room. He reloaded, then moved on, taking out everyone on the second floor. He climbed the stairs to the third floor, and a man with an RPG appeared. Riku fire a single round straight into the warhead, and the man was engulf in the explosion. Finally, Riku entered the offices. He dropped all of the terrorists, save for one, who grabbed a hostage and put a pistol to his head.

"Drop you weapon, infidel, or I'll kill this man!" the terrorist yelled at him. Riku responded by calmly aiming his rifle at the terrorist's head. "Y-You fool! You'd really risk killi-"

He never got to finish his sentence, as Riku shot him right between the eyes. He fell back, and the hostage cringed in fear. "Relax. I was a sniper in the Special Forces. I could pick a flea off a dog's back at a hundred years with a pistol. I never miss. Now let's get out of here." They hostages all got up and began to file towards the door. Riku raised his hand to the earpiece. "This is Riku, I've got the hostages secured. They're on their way out now. I'll be expecting my payment when I get down there."

As Riku headed down, he looked at his watch. He had started his assault at 12:15. I was now 12: 28. Less than 15 minutes, he thought to himself. Suddenly, his earpiece began to crackle.

"Riku there's a bomb! Get out of there! It's set to go off on thirty sec-"

Riku never heard the end of the message. A massive explosion ripped through the building. The force threw Riku out the window and into the building across from him. The impact knocked him senseless. When he looked, all he saw was a blur, with several shapes running around. He saw a large cloud rising from a pillar of flames. Someone ran up to him and shouted something. He couldn't hear him, though: the blast had ruptured his eardrums. He looked down, and the last thing he saw before passing out was a large piece of metal sticking out of his chest.

Anima yelled in exuberation as he floated in the air.

"Damn, that was a hell of a rush!"

He looked up and saw Hrisskar coming through what looekd liek a break in the sky. He smirked and thought of Ace.

"He never ceases to amaze me, that Captain does."

He said softly to himself as he calmly floated to the ground. His feet landed with a thump and he kept his balance. He then shed his parachute and looked around.

((Better?))

Ace walks off and raises his hand high, and gives Yue a thumbs up. This must have been the first time one of his squad mates has taken his advice, which pleased him. Ace then took off, running fast, faster than he has before. In seconds he is already out of sight and closing in on the city.

"Tashalar..." He said getting really close and he can barely make out the city walls through the thick forest. "...Help is here." He said, rushing to the walls, surrounding the city. The walls are tall. About three stories high and the masonry work is spectacular. There is a gate as tall as the fence made of wood reinforced by metal. Two guard posts are on either side. The wall is really just to keep the forest outside. Ace stops at the walls...

Meanwhile back at Mishaps HQ garage the android was cleaning up. He put away the MPLP, making the platform turn back into a set if trailers to a big rig. "Hmm, it seems theres another item on my to do list. Its high priority." That appeared right after Anima left. "Recycle Anima's buggy. Easy enough." The android said as he got into the buggy, hot wiring it. The android drove off to the warehouse/factory th

ats in the city.

"Hey!" Sokato shouted out. "Is anybody home?" A few seconds passed and a short blue guy with pointy ears, carrying a cross bow peeks over his post in the guard tower. "Who might thy be?" The guard said. "I'm Ace." He said taking out the letter. "I got your letter, do you still need help?" "Aye, we do, I will open the gate for you." The guard turned around "Open the gate!" The gates slowly opened revealing the city. There were two gaurds waiting inside.

Yue felt the water from the the tree beginning to spill out and running down his forehead. It wasn't so much as water from the tree as much as water from the ground, pulled up by the tree.
The cool liquid was filled with energy from the ground. The water pooled on his forehead, before seeping into his body via his pores.
It was a rather uncomfortable feeling but lasted only a few minutes.
Taking a few ragged breaths, the forest began to feel very ominous.
"What's happening?" He muttered aloud. Somehow he could sense someone was approaching once more.
"Good." He growled, a dark malevolent grin slipped across his face. He was undergoing a transformation.

The guards stared at Ace. "Due to my post, I can't show emotions, but I can tell you that I am shocked." The guard on the left stated, with a monotone voice. The guard on the right explained, "We don't get visitors often, especially not at this gate."

"Interesting... I would like to speak to your leader, as soon as possible. Also, be expecting more people. I got separated from the rest of my party on the way." Ace walked through the gates, a third guard was behind the one of the doors, operating a crank that opened and closed the massive gates, he was not elven, but human. He closed the gate. The doors creaked slowly and it looked like it would hurt if you would happened to get pinned under it, but that could be said for any massive moving object.

"I will escort you." Said a fourth guard, which was human. It seemed that people where taking interest in the new person. A small crowd was gathering. People can be heard whispering to each other about Ace. Mostly about how strange he looks, the clothes, the hair, and the way he talked. The buildings where made out of stone, with wooden beams. They had thatch roofs, which looked like they would set ablaze easily. The entire city looked like it was kept in a good condition. The guard and Sokato made their way to a manor near the center of the city. It was smaller than a castle. (So I guess it does not qualify as a castle, but rather a manor. I am not sure.)

Meanwhile, back in our realm, the android was driving the buggy through the hills and towards the city. "Next item after this on the list... Get to work on assembly of new mech unit. Interesting."

Spinning on his heels, shadar's dagger-nails, sliced through the bark of a few branchs. A large bird sitting nexk to him.
His eyes widened in what he had done.
Shadar slumped back. 'It wasn't the man.' Searching through the forest, the teen couldn't find Ace.
"He must have went ahead." Jumping out of the tree, shadar picked up the pack and sped off down the path.
'Ace must have left already.' He concluded, seeing a nice cut out path. Branchs were snapped, clear off.
Shadar decided to fall the path. Within a couple of moments, he was standing, staring at a large imposing stone wall.
The wall was far from natural and it looked like the enviroment was upset because of them.

"Thats... Thats quite a sword you have." The guard escorting Ace noted. Ace's sword was just as tall as the guard. Sokato, being around six feet, isn't small either. He just looks like he does not have the muscle mass. Kind of like a basket ball player. "Yea, I know." Ace said walking around a small cart being pulled by a mule. "Its heavy too." The way Ace was carrying the sword, was by having two straps rapped around, kinda like a backpack. It stuck straight up and down and ran from the back of his neck, to near his knee caps.

The path they where walking on was made of stones, flattened and fitted to each other, bound by some sort of cement. Some stones where gray, some brown, and some red. The streets where filled with people. Most dressed in peasants clothing. Most kept their heads down, while others stopped to stare at Ace.
