Standing, she smiled at him, nodding her head. "I see no lady, simply two friends, eager to help, to stand by each other through anything." she replied, facing him. "Of course I would accompany you there."

Dax walked to teh cliff, his eyes closed and arms crossed upon his chest. Stopping just at the cliffs edge, jagged sharp rocks below, he looked off into the distance. A slight breeze blowing his hair and clothing back abit.

Far in the distance a black and silver dragon could be seen, but it was not in the distance long. Within a matter of a few minutes the dragon landed roughly upon the cliff, digging her claws into the ground and flinging the boy off her back. "What has happened to Reevis?" It asked hastily, not even bothering to use a direct signal. Anyone that wanted to hear her would be able to. "What is he doing? And why did you makes us leave?!"
The boy landed on his feet, but slid upon the dirt and landed face first anyway. Normally he would have laughed at such a thing, but he was nevous for some reason. "I dunno, I dunno, and because if we had gone any closer he probably would have killed us... by accident or on purpose." Brushing himself off, he walked over to the dragon and gently touched the side of her face. "I... I think everything will be alright with him."

The dragon roared loudly at the boy's answers and tried to bite him when he touched her. "If there is something wrong then we should have stayed! We could have helped him!" At what he finally said came another loud roar as she yelled into the boy's mind, "THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH." He growled angrily as it took a few steps back. A moment later it went to make a dive off the cliff to gain some form or momentum.
The boy remained perfectly calm at her reaction, only moving so he would not be bit. For a long moment he did not say anything, but then she tried to jump off the cliff. Almost instantly the boy had her tail and dragged her back onto the land; he was far stronger than the body he had let on. "And how would us getting killed by his hands help him!? It would probably just make it worse!" He said, sounding like a chile throwing a tempertantrum despite how logical his word were. "We will wait here until he is alright again or asleep!"

Twilight roared again when she was grabbed and thrashed around to try and escape his grasp. Even after he released her she thrashed around, ripping apart the ground with her claws while smacking her tail against anything that came close. This lasted only a few minutes, and when she was done she simply looked at the boy angrily. "You you think we should just wait for god knows how long untill Reevis goes back to normal? Is that what you want us to do?!" She was obviously not happy at what was happening, her logic was beggining to return, but her insticts still told her to help.
The boy watched her for awhile, slightly amused. Dragons certainly did have a temper... When she asked her question he went to her again, this time sending a calming thought through his mind to hers. "Yes. For the moment that's all we can do..." He smiled a little bit, but it was a very hallow smile.

The dragon did not say anything, but thumped onto the ground in compliance. She closed her eyes at held onto the thought as if it were the most precious thing she had. Though she had calmed down greatly, her tail still swooshed back and forth in anticipation, anger and dread. What could have happened?
The boy smiled a little bit more genuinely and nodded his head. "I'll be back in a minute, just wanna get something to drink really quick." And with that he was gone.

Felix wandered back to the familiar cliffside, the water dragon he had met earlier burst up from the great seas below, and bowed her head to him, "i thought you weren't to meet me again" "pure chance this meeting is, did you hatch that rebellious egg?" "not yet. what do you mean, rebellious?" "i tried to hatch it myself, by taking it to the nesting grounds in the atlantic, but it never hatched" she replied. felix gasped "did this egg look different from your others?" "why?" "it looks different than the one in the book, now that i think about it, it looks more like a wind-dragon egg" with that the water dragon turned away and dived back into the water, this confused felix greatly, 'What's going on here? why did she refuse to answer me? did she know it wasn't hers?'

The man appeared leaning against a tree, a sickening laugh came from behind the blank mask. "Well hello there. my little pet." He said, managing to suppress a laugh. Almost immediately the dragon woke, happy for only an instance, As soon as the happiness was gone there was a strange feeling of dread... who was this man? She tried to move, but felt that she was much heavier than she normally was... far too heavy to move. The man did not say anything, but laughed as he began to move towards her.

He got to the laying dragon and took off his mask. The cuts on his face had not seemed to heal at all, and he was still missing an eye. Despite that, or perhaps because of that, he had a horrible smile on his face. "I need something that I put inside of you when you were born. I promise, I won't do anything more then take that back." He let a bit of a laugh escape, but held it in as much as possible. The whisper had started again, but he suppressed it to near nothingness. The dragon had a frightened yet defiant look in her eyes. 'That may kill me...' She said openly, so that anyone could hear. Unable to hold it, the man began to laugh madly. "Oh trust me, I know..."

After a moment he put the mask back on. He could tell that dragon was unable to move, which meant that his little ability had worked. For a moment he wondered why his other self never tried it, but dispelled that within a moment. "Now stay still..." He said with a laugh as he pulled back the sleeve to his cloak. The black gauntlet seemed to glow more a moment, then it seemed to almost go transparent. Slowly he reached out and touched the lower neck of the dragon... but his hand did not touch. Instead his hand seemed to go inside of her. he laughed for a moment and then pushed the rest of the hand in, moving it around as if looking for something. The dragon began to try and thrash around, but to no avail.

Running for practice and fun, Ziven moved through the night at expert speed. She went where her feet carried her, not particularly trying to go anywhere but soon found herself running along the coast, leading to the cliffs. She had no intention of stopping until an almost forgotten voice sounded in her head. Skidding to a stop, she turned around, using her mind to pinpoint the source. Turning around almost completely, she quickly took off at the same run toward the voice, knowing that Twilight was not alone. Now in full control of her stopping as she had a destination to stop at rather than stopping on a whim, she came to a bouncing stop near to Twilight. She looked at what remained of Reeve with a calm expression. For now, she said nothing. She would hold her promise to Ali not to fight, she now would assess what was happening here and do what she could to help.

The man let out a triumphant laugh as he began to pull on something inside the dragon. As soon as he did so, Twilight began to struggle more; almost as if she were in pain. Finally he pulled out a small gem, the smae one that had once been around Zivens neck before she left it behind. It did, however, have a new addition to it; small threads seemed to have attacked themselves it it. The threads led to somewhere in the dragon. For a moment the man did nothing, then he let out a somewhat annoyed chuckle. "Your life-threads latched onto this thing eh? Pity." The man lifted his other hand to the gem and, although there were many, pulled only one string. Almost instantly the dragon roared in pain as the very tip of her tail turned to stone. "It really is a pity, the other will be screaming for the rest of the night when I kill you..." As he was saying this he pulled out another sting.

"Twilight!" she bellowed, moving to the young dragon's side. She wrapped her arms around her neck. "Please .. " she said softly but stopped herself. What would be the point in trying to reason with this .. man, likely only to initiate a fight of some sort. Gently she sent calm, friendly images to Twilight, comforting emotions, desire to help. Soon words came to the dragon. "You are not alone, Little One. Despite the pain, I am here for you .. how may I help you?"
