Lily wandered downstairs, showered though not exactly perky. Her ears were quivering with energy, but she wasn't inclined to do anything about it at the moment; indeed, it combined with her emotions to form a strange sort of meloncholy. She sighed and trudged into the kitchen, deciding that chocolate chip pancakes were the solution to the problem.

Arlen comes downstairs and wanders into the kitchen as he's prone to do. "Are you feeling any better?" he asks Lily upon seeing her.

She shrugged one shoulder absently, not turning away from mixing the batter. "Not really." Lily told him absently, then turned to look at him, attempting a smile. "You?"

Lily sighed and put the bowl down, crossing to Arlen and embracing him tightly. "Yeah...at least." she murmured, her face in his chest. "Do you think you could maybe drink some juice?" she asked softly. "It...it might help a little, if you can."

Arlen shakes his head. "I wasn't able to drink more than half a glass of water, and that was only after five days of not eating at all."

Lily clutched him a bit more tightly, then nodded. "Okay." she whispered, then drew back. Suddenly, pancakes didn't seem so appatizing anymore, so she gave him another shaky smile and stroked his cheek. "What do you want to do today love?"
