"I think I will try one of my cookies to see if they are alright."
Iridessa takes a cookie off of the platter and bites into it.
"MMMMMM! These are really good!"
Turns to all of the elves in the kitchens.
"Guys, try some of these cookies. I made enough for everyone and students alike!"
Iridessa takes another bite into her cookie.

Angel runs over to the oven and pulls out the fried pumpkin seeds.
"Yum! These smell delicious!"
Angel notices the new elves and hurries to put the pan down on the counter. "Hi new elves! Welcome to the kitchens! A lot of us elves are making halloween goodies. Care to join us?"
Angel turns around and continues to finish her cooking. After she was done she started to clean up her mess.
"Fried pumpkin seeds and candy corn soup are done! The children will love these!"

"Well, we're glad to have you!" Lavia concluded, when she heard Iridessa cry out to all of them. Curious, she made her way over, and sampled one of the freshly baked cookies. As she bit into the cookie, it almost melted in her mouth it was still so fresh. The flavor was amazing, and she couldn't help but sigh. "These are great, Iridessa! No doubt everyone will love them!"

Follows Lavia over to were Iridessa and her cooks are and tries one!! Mmmmm these are good!! Looks at Iridessa. "You did a great job on these!!"
I point over to wear about 3 tea pots and a 2 platters filled with a stack of biscuits are. If any of ya'll want to try one i made some ginger biscuits and warmed orange spiced tea!! I made some for us elfs. While i prepare the rest for the students and professors!!
Smiles happily and walks back over to the stove to check up on the tea. Then goes back to the count and makes another batch of Ginger biscuits while humming the hogwarts song!

My friends, I am here to let you know I have been sorted into a House today, and will be leaving the Kitchens. I will certainly see you all again, but until then, it's been a pleasure working with all of you. Take care 3nodding

A new elf nudges the kitchens door open with a toe and discreetly
steps inside, looking around at the busy mess with wide eyes.
The door shuts and she stares at it as if pleading for it to open again
and pull her through. The elf worries the fraying edge of her jumper.
She's never been in such a busy place before...

She blinks a few times, and blurts out, "I'd love to! It is so very nice
to meet you as well!" She takes a few steps away from the door, and turns
to bow to Kamalia, eyes shining and alert. "I'm Dev, what can I do here?"

"Hi Dev! It's nice to meet you! The elves here are great workers and really friendly. Don't hesitate to ask for help with anything. Kamalia has made some ginger biscuits and tea. Try those! I also made some cookies so you can try those too!"
Iridessa bows at the new elf.
"Welcome to Hogwarts Kitchens!"

Tiesha lifted her head from the mixture of pumpkin juice she had before her and she smiled friendly at the new elf. "Hello!" she called across the kitchen.

Dev gave her thank yous to Iridessa, and waved to Tiesha across
the kitchen. Her whole body shook with the effort.
She looked to Iridessa again. "Where can I start?" she asked.

"Well, Dev. You can start by signing up for elf class in the halls of learning. Also, you can help me by trying out one of my cookies."
Iridessa hands Dev a pumpkin cookie. Iridessa looks over to the other elves.
"Hey fellow, elves! To let you know, I'm also in the process of being sorted but I'll stick around until it's done. I will stay an house elf until my sorting is completed. I'll be back to visit you all!"
((Oooohh, fright week! I'm ready for that!))
