"Take three hours, got it." he teased, sliding out of bed and rubbing at his chest as he walked to the bathroom. He left the door open, looking at his face and the little hickies Daren had left. Ah well. Shower time. And as soon as he stepped under the hot spray his mind oozed filth. Sex, workout, sweat, Tim hadn't dusted any of that equipment off at all. He hadn't touched it since moving back in. he started to scrub, forcing himself to stop and whining, trying to remember how to wash and not scrub so hard or so long in one spot. He was breathing too fast, still working on his arm before letting the loofah drop, hands trembling. He, he had to, had to clean, but not scrub, not get the dirt off but pretend too. He poured body wash in his hands, rubbing them together and running his hands over his body, running his nails gently against his skin, but when he pulled them away he saw little balls of dead skin and dirt. Scrub. Tim turned off the water, gripping the handle tight and trying not to cry, turning it back on to rinse off the soap and turn it off again. He hadn't really bathed at all... But he walked out and got dressed, still shaking, feeling the dirt on him, and met Daren in the kitchen. "Eggs?" he questioned softly

Daren smiled when Tim joined him, just finishing the sandwiches. a quick glance didn't tell him much, but the uncomfortable way Tim was holding himself spoke more than a look at his skin could. "You did good, Tim," he said softly, pulling his lover into a hug and holding him. he let go after a few seconds and handed over the sandwich, "want me to shower with you later tonight? might make things easier." he didn't want to push it, but he felt Tim would have a better time of it if he was there. "i could help you wash your back-"

Tim tried to smile, skin crawling not because the other hugged him, but because he was covered in filth. He didn't do good at all. It was crawling and in his pores and moving on to his clothes and traveling. He was almost afraid to take the sandwich, but managed it. "Yea, that might be good. I don't, I don't know how hard too--" he hadn't even washed his back he'd been so focused on his torso and arms. He didn't even hesitate, he handed his sandwich back to Daren and stripped off his shirt, eyes welling with tears as he turned the water on, deciding the scalding temperature was the best if he couldn't scrub himself raw.

Daren was a little confused when the sandwich was handed back, but as soon as he saw Tim stripping his shirt, he put them down. by the time he reached the man, Tim already had the water burning hot. "No," he said softly, grabbing Tim's hands and pulling him away. he turned the water off and took Tim's hand, leading him to the bathroom. "come, i'll wash you." he stripped and then helped Tim before turning on the water and pulling the other inside. he made it hot, but not burningly so, just enough to turn the skin a little red. "just hold still, ok?" he lathered the cloth and washed Tim slowly, but thoroughly, using firm round swipes. he covered every single area of his lover's body before rinsing and doing it again. "see? you can get as clean as you want without damaging your skin, Tim." next he washed Tim's hair, making sure to just as thorough a job there as he did with his body. when Tim was done, Daren turned off the water and handed him a towel, "better?"

"Daren please I'm sorry please just let me bathe." he begged, giving a small sob as the tears finally left his eyes. Tim was pathetic. He couldn't even try for a day. He coudn't even do it for a day he was a ******** disgrace, absolute trash. And he only cried harder as Daren got in with him and began washing him like a child. But after the embarrassment and the shame, he was clean. When asked if he was better he simply shook his head. He was a disgraceful man. "I'm sorry." he cried. "I'm so sorry, Daren."

Daren pulled Tim in for a hug, "there is nothing to be sorry for. it's something you are working on, Tim. take your time figuring this out, i'm with you all of the way, ok?" he rubbed Tim's back gently, simply holding the sobbing man. "i'll shower with you from now on to help out, ok? i'll get those places you can't reach very well until you decide you are ok again. you don't need to cry, supporting each other is what boyfriends do, right?" he smiled and looked into Tim's eyes, "do you think any less of me for having to stop over and over again last night? do you think me pathetic because i couldn't just have sex with you, that what happened still affects me?" he waited for Tim's answer before replying, "then why would i feel that way towards you? this is the same thing, tim. we've both been hurt and are on our way to recovery. it just takes time."

Tim kept crying, trying to be silent about it but nodded, looking at at Daren with swollen eyes. "N-No. You, you needed time. It was okay." he'd reassured the man over and over that it was okay for him to take breaks, and that Timothy would be okay if they didn't continue. Daren's response to that made Tim start sniffling, looking down at the logic. That made sense... "I'm still sorry." he murmured. "Let me change, I'm late for work. I'm sorry."

Daren wiped Tim's eyes with his thumbs, "nothing to be sorry for. hurry up and change, i'll warm up your sandwich and drive you to work so you can eat on the way, ok?" he kissed Tim on the forehead before heading out, giving him some space. "Tim?" he said, stopping just before he left the bedroom and smiling at the red head, "i love you." it was a simple and honest statement, and he knew Tim would recognize that. it was easy enough to warm the sandwich, he just put it into the microwave for thirty seconds and it was as good as new. he waited at the door, munching on his own sandwich as he waited, keys in hand.

Tim grabbed his clothes from the bathroom floor, walking to the bathroom to throw them in the hamper and pull out a new pair. "Hm?" he looked at the man, smiling at the honest statement and looking down, a little bashful now. "I love you too." he said softly, changing in to a clean suit before walking out, taking his sandwich. "Thank you for cooking." he said through a mouthful of breakfast.

Daren opened the door for Tim, "seeing as you're bringing home the bacon, i've gotta support you, you know." he smirked, "i think i'm going to enjoy being a house wife." he snorted as they stepped into the elevator, "god, if you tell anyone i said that i will vehemently deny it. no one will believe you anyway, so there." he laughed happily as the doors opened and he finished his breakfast. "the tree and stuff should be arriving today, i'll wait for you to open it and put it together, ok? you'd probably be better at decorating than i am anyways, i just sort of put a santa hat on the television and call it good."

A light chuckle was given in response to Tim being the breadwinner of the relationship. "Should I start buying you pretty suits and shoes if you're going to be my trophy wife?" he teased back, finishing the inhalation of his breakfast. Daren made him laugh. It was true, no one would believe Tim if he told them that Daren was his wife. "I'd forgotten about the decorations! I'm excited! Once we're done you'll be a Christmas decorating pro." he smiled, walking out of the elevator. "We'll put a santa hat on the tv just for you."

Daren wiggled his eyebrows, "i'll even wear a dress and heals for you, husband, dear." but it was too much, and he broke down laughing as they got into the car. "just for me, huh?" in his mind's eye he saw a vastly different christmas. it was cold, there was snow on the ground and he'd sat wrapped up with his mother in a blanket since they didn't have enough money to pay for heating. they had just put small santa hats on top of the old television's bunny ears, making things a little bit brighter, at least until when father got home and they had to hurry and put them away before he could see. "yeah, i'd like that." he said softly as he pulled out of the garage. "christmas is the time for making memories, right?" he smiled at Tim, "i know. we'll buy me a santa's little helper outfit and you can be santa-" he winked at Tim, "i'll help you out real good, santa baby."

Tim laughed with him, going to the car and getting in. "Christmas is definitely a time for making memories. We'll make good ones I promise." he said, raising an eyebrow at Daren. "thank goodness we don't have kids or they'd be seeing Daddy kiss Santa underneath the mistletoe."

Daren smirked, "and it means daddy can do more than just kiss." Tim's work wasn't far, so they were soon in his parking lot, "you're only a few minutes late, i'm sure they won't mind." he leaned over and gave Tim a quick peck, "have fun. i'll be here to pick you up when you are done, ok, love?" he smiled and sat back, "You'll be fine. i promise. call me if you need to talk, ok? i'll have my phone on me at all times."

"Well Santa can't wait." he smiled, checking his watch and nodding. "Just a few minutes." he smiled, returning the small kiss, "All right. I'll call if I need to." He got out, looking at the tall building before walking in. To be honest, he thought about moving jobs, maybe starting a little fresh. Somewhere where people didn't know his life had so much bad drama. He wasn't sure though, but he pressed the elevator button and made it upstairs to his floor, clocking in and going to his cubicle. "Timothy!" Andy greeted. "You're supposed to be on vacation! We're not supposed to see you until next year!" "Boss said it was important. Financial records got messed up." "Yea about that," Andy said, quickly lowering himself back in his seat. "He's in his office!" Andy messed something up, didn't he? Really that man needed to go deal with customers instead of money. Placing his things at his cubicle he quickly went to he office, knocking. "It's Timothy."
