The last remnants of daylight filtered into the bedroom through the mini blinds. Twilight was already upon them even though it seemed like he only slept for a few minutes. He was surprised when Micha told him the time. But he did say he would let him sleep a few hours. Four hours was enough to keep him awake the rest of the evening, but not up all night. He relaxed as Micha shifted closer to him. Samuel nodded, smiling back at the male. "Yeah. Thanks." he said softly. Shifting closer he kissed Micha again to show his gratitude. He pulled back a few moments later, smiling down at the male. "What'd you end up doing while I was asleep?" he asked curiously.

They still had plans to make dinner but by now he wondered if they should just order in. He didn’t feel like making dinner or going anywhere. Micha was relaxed where he was with Samuel. He didn’t know how Samuel felt about it though. Micha could only guess. He had let Samuel sleep to long but he knew Samuel needed the sleep. Micha nodded as Samuel thanked him. He returned the kiss before Samuel pulled away. Micha listened as Samuel spoke smiling lightly in response. ”Hmm…Well I checked a few emails then went to work in my studio on a new piece I’ve been working on.” He spoke smiling at Samuel. Micha spoke knowing it probably explained why he had let Samuel sleep so long.

Ordering in didn't sound too bad. Though the night was young and he didn't mind cooking, everything they were going to use was still back at house. If it wasn't so far he'd just get in his car and go get it. But he absolutely hated driving anywhere in the city at this hour. It didn't matter where one was headed the streets were just awful. There was also the option of just going shopping, but again there was the issue of getting around. He feared if he were to go out and buy everything by the time he got back it would be too late. He wasn't too sure what was around this part of the city, but still ordering in did seem best. He doubted Micha had much food lying about and what he did they probably couldn't make a meal out of. Samuel wasn't mad that Micha oversleep. He felt well rested. Truth be told four hours would probably be the most he would get this week thanks to work and a few upcoming meetings he had scheduled. Smiling back at the male he listened as he told how he killed the hours he'd been sleeping. He wasn't surprised that he squeezed in a bit of work. "Workaholic." he teased. "So do I get to see this new piece? Or is it still a work in progress?"

When it came to ordering out, Micha didn’t mind. He knew it was late and didn’t feel like going anywhere. Micha was too content where he was with Samuel. He didn’t know however what to order. There were so many different things, however he wanted something simple, pizza or Chinese. Micha wasn’t picky when it came to either though he didn’t eat much. It was true that if he collected everything in his house, there was hardly anything to make a meal with. Micha could cook but hardly did. Unless it wasn’t coffee, then it didn’t get made in his kitchen. He laughed softly as Samuel teased him. Micha knew he was a workaholic but the same thing could be said about Samuel. He shrugged lightly, ”It’s still a work in progress.” Micha spoke smiling a little. He wasn’t completely finished with his new piece. Micha had started it a few weeks ago but just didn’t have the time lately to work on it. He shifted a little as he lay there. ”I was thinking…I know we talked about making dinner but…Did you just want to order in instead?” Micha asked curiously.

In all honesty Samuel wasn't too sure what to order either. In terms of take-out it seemed like they were starting to get in a rut. Almost every time they ordered take-out it was pizza, Chinese, or burgers on the way back to his place. Right now he wanted to avoid those three like the plague, but then it left him even more curious about what they could eat. He didn't want to get up and go cook something. Though he wouldn't mind too much if he had to. But he was comfortable laying here side-by-side with Micha. Samuel nodded quietly as Micha told him about his work. He had figured as much but still wondered if the male would allow him to see even the unfinished product. He could respect him wanting to finish his work before showing anyone. Perhaps if he was lucky Micha would show him when it was finished. Changing subjects, Samuel watched the male shift beside him and listened to him speak. "Yeah it's fine." he replied softly. "I was actually wondering about that myself. I mean I wouldn't mind borrowing your kitchen and cooking. But given the time of day and wherever your closest grocery is, I was worried by the time we even started we'd end up eating near midnight." Shifting beside the male he rolled on to his stomach, folding his arms and resting his chin on top of them. "Anything you're particularly wanting?" he asked.

When it came to his art, Micha preferred not to show off his pieces until he was finished. He didn’t feel his art complete until it was finished. Micha would show Samuel once he was finished but not until then. He lay there watching Samuel not wanting to move. Micha was too comfortable but knew they would have to move soon. He listened as Samuel spoke nodding a little. Micha knew it would be too late by time they went shopping, returned, and actually made dinner. He watched as Samuel shifted beside him. Micha shrugged lightly, ”Well…There’s a deli about a block from here that has some really good sandwiches.” He spoke figuring it was the easiest thing, plus it wasn’t Chinese or pizza.

Lying comfortably Samuel mulled over the various things they could eat. He was well aware of just how many different options there were in the city, but he didn't know anything about the area Micha lived. That wasn't to say there wasn't as much variety as he could find near his Manhattan penthouse. But not knowing the area did make it a tad hard to decide. He didn't have to think too long before Micha threw a suggestion. A sandwich sounded good. Chips too and maybe a bottle of water. Nodding quietly he looked to the male. "That'll work. Should we go now? Or are you even hungry?" he replied. Samuel wasn't exactly dying of hunger, but he could eat. The donuts they had earlier were long gone. Same for the tea and coffee. And he fell asleep before they could even think of having lunch. He didn't know if Micha had eaten while he slept. Though he gathered from Micha telling him how easy it was to get absorbed into his work that the answer was likely to be no.

There were only so many options in his neighborhood. Micha however settled on sandwiches perhaps. He wasn’t sure how Samuel felt about the idea but at least it was something simply and not something they had to make. Micha wasn’t in the mood to cook nor was he in the mood for something greasy. He could only handle so much greasy food before it got to be gross which set him on a no food streak. Micha wasn’t there yet but getting close to it. It was true that he had gotten lost in his work and hadn’t eaten since the donuts and coffee this morning. Micha watched Samuel waiting for an answer. He wasn’t exactly dying of hunger either but he was hungry. His stomach growled lightly as he lay there. Micha nodded, ”Yeah, I’m hungry.” He spoke knowing that Samuel had to be hungry as well at least. Micha was being a bad host by not offering any food but sad to say, if they didn’t leave the house then Samuel was likely to starve. All he had in his house were beverages and not the most sustainable kind.

Samuel didn't really care about the males hosting etiquette. It wasn't as though he was all that better when they came over to his house. Half the time they to his place, the moment their shoes were off was the moment they were heading up to his room. He might have asked once or twice if Micha wanted something to eat or drink, but it wasn't every visit. Samuel nodded as the male responded. He still didn't want to move, but hearing Micha's stomach growl and feeling a bit hungry himself, he knew it was better to go. He sat up stretching his limbs once more and twisting at the waist so his back popped in multiple places. "Should we go now then?" he asked again, looking to Micha. He knew the male to be just as comfortable. But unless the deli delivered they were going to need to get up sometime before the night was through.

When it came to being a host, Micha didn’t mind Samuel’s hosting style. After all it wasn’t like he was any better. At least he offered Samuel a drink. Micha however couldn’t offer him food but at least he was willing to go somewhere. He blushed lightly hearing his own stomach growl. Micha knew he should have eaten earlier. He needed to go grocery shopping but he was lazy about such things. Micha also hated grocery shopping as well. It was usually too packed and crowded for him, plus half the time he didn’t buy much. He watched as Samuel shifted on the bed beside him. Micha moved as well sitting up. He watched as Samuel twisted hearing his back crack in a couple places. Micha didn’t mind the sound as most people did. He nodded as Samuel questioned him. ”Yeah, probably should.” Micha spoke slipping off the bed. He wished the deli delivered so he didn’t have to leave but he knew they probably needed a break from lying on the bed. Micha shifted making his way toward the door and down the hallway toward the stairs. He walked down the steps making his way toward the front door. Micha grabbed his shoes slipping them on. He figured perhaps they could walk to the deli since it was only a few blocks.

After stretching his limbs he looked to Micha to see if he was ready to leave. He watched the male nod and soon rise from the bed. Getting up himself, Samuel followed the male back up the hall and downstairs. Standing a bit behind the male he pulled on his shoes and patted himself down to make sure he had everything. When he was ready to glanced to Micha, soon following him out the door. "We walking or riding?" he asked. Samuel didn't really care which; though if the place was as close as Micha said, it'd probably be easier just to walk. He didn't feel like searching for a place to park when they were only going down the block.

After putting his shoes on, Micha went about grabbing his keys along with his wallet. He didn’t bother with the phone since he didn’t need it. Micha finished grabbing everything then opened the door. He left the lights on figuring they would be back soon. Micha stepped outside letting Samuel out. He shut the door behind them and locked it. Micha glanced at Samuel as he spoke. ”Walking. The deli’s only a few blocks down the street.” He spoke smiling at Samuel. Micha stepped away from the door slipping his keys into his pocket. He started down the few steps in front of house. Micha glanced around, the sun had gone so it was a little chilly out but he didn’t mind. He enjoyed the cold as he started down the street heading toward the deli.

He waited patiently while Micha locked up. The air was cool, but not so much that it bothered him. Samuel glanced around the quiet neighborhood while waited. It seemed safe enough to leave his car behind but out of habit he unlocked and relocked the doors. He nodded quietly in response, following slightly behind the male. As they walked Samuel took in more of the his surroundings. The neighborhood didn't seem too bad. It wasn't as grand as Manhattan, but it wasn't terrible. From what he could see no houses were boarded up, no visible graffiti, nor did he get that vibe where he should keep his hand firmly clutched around his phone and wallet. In his honest opinion it seemed like a generally nice neighborhood, which was a rare thing to come by; especially in the city when one wasn't paying for the added security. Turning his attention back to Micha, he walked a bit faster to catch up and held his hand out in a silent offering.

When it came to his neighborhood, he lived in a small yet simple area. There was hardly any crime and there was no need to hold onto his pockets with every step he took. As he walked down the sidewalk with Samuel, Micha took in his wariness. He knew it was only natural to be cautious of a new place. Micha didn’t mind was he walked beside Samuel. He slipped his hands into his pocket as he walked comfortably down the sidewalk heading toward the deli. It was dark outside yet there were still lights on in the houses near. He could see reflections of light bouncing of walls from the televisions in the houses. Once they were out of the first block, Micha watched as Samuel seemed to calm down and return his attention back toward him. He glanced toward Samuel take notice of his outstretched hand. Micha slipped his hand from his pocket and into Samuel’s waiting hand. He laced their fingers together as they walked side by side. Micha returned his attention to walking. ”So my house, you approve?” He asked curiously having yet not heard of what Samuel thought of it. Micha wouldn’t be offended though if he hated it after all to each there own.

If he seemed a tad skittish, he couldn't help it. Samuel didn't know Micha's neighborhood very well. Not only that but he didn't go walking around too many of his friends neighborhoods. Most of them lived in gated communities or high class apartments. Micha, as usual, was totally out of his element. There was no security driving around, no high gate to keep out suspicious and unwanted folk, and no to check who came in or out of the neighborhood. Saying that Samuel was sheltered was an understatement. Catching up to the male, Samuel held his hand out and smiled as Micha took it. Micha's hand was warm in comparison; his own feeling like ice thanks to his sensitivity to the cold. Quietly they walked a bit before he heard the male speak. He couldn't help but laugh a bit. Did Micha really he wouldn't? Sure he grew up in the lap of luxury, but the simplicity of his home made for a lovely change of scenery. "I do. It's very...you. If that makes any sense." he replied, smiling at the male.
