So... it's a fact you're stalking? wink
The ironic thing is TN just said "Charlotte will get mad if we stay in her room" then I looked back to see where she was and she really did get mad and leave (although it doesn't seem like for the same reasons TN thought she'd get mad)
I'm still a little unclear why she's mad other than Georgia bargaining with Belarus....?

Oh she was trying to talk things out like civil folks but didn't seem like anyone was really listening except for Ohio. She probably had the most weapons other than Belarus in the room and she didn't even draw hers out. Yet the nation wound up surrounded by states with guns anyway. Not to mention more people coming in to see the what all the fuss is about... Might just be me but I would go nuts. >.<; Oh and I think I was mistaken about Greensboro being the base sweatdrop The one I was thinking of was Seymour Johnson AFB Military Bases in NCgood night yall! Looks like I going to watch Sleepy Hollow wink

Diseases from the mainland wiped out her people, at least 1/3 of them if I do recall correctly, causing her navy to disappear and her army to dwindle to a mere few hundred. America then made Hawaii sign to become a protectorate state and became neutral, still allied with Great Britain through trade routes, but America wanted her trading all to himself, even willing to annex the islands! When Hawaii would claim an island, that pissed off America since he wanted to claim that island for himself too! America didn't trust the monarchy and the monarchy didn't trust America; the US had to have one warship on the island at all times due to the constituion of 1887. So, on January 17, 1893, Liliʻuokalani, believing the U.S. military would intervene if she changed the constitution, waited for the USS Boston to leave port. Once it was known that Liliʻuokalani was revising the constitution, the Boston was recalled and assisted the Missionary Party in her overthrow. Following the overthrow and the establishment of the Provisional Government of Hawaii the Kingdom's military was disarmed and disbanded. Historians suggest that businessmen were in favor of overthrow and annexation to the U.S. in order to benefit from more favorable trade conditions with its main export market.
Aaaand that's just the overview! I could get into many more details about how shitty America was to poor, ol' Hawaii, but I'll save that for when you do something outlandishly stupid!

But you can see where she's coming from yes? I don't want to be the only one who supports HI's argument for her actions. sweatdrop I can understand her feelings, but I feel like it's a little unfair to take them out on TN. He's been trying really hard to be nice to her... and she's not the only one who had a super sucky childhood. It would take too long to go into all the details about TN's birth, but he was considered an "accident", "mistake" and England considered the simple act of him living to be an act of defiance because he wasn't meant to exist. He was born as an illegal settlement and the only person who showed him any kindness as a newborn eventually tried to murder him for 20 years straight (The Cherokee Nation). NC was the first person to take him in and actually make him feel wanted by anyone. Then for a LONG time America neglected him and left him to get abused/beaten up by his enemies and refused to protect or give permission for TN to fight back against those who declared war on him. He really almost died and neither America nor most of the states honestly cared. Of course, she probably has no way of knowing this because she's never asked him nor tried to look into the Eastern States and their pasts, I'd assume. Either way, I like drama although she's kind of started up at a bad time for TN. He has so many people now pulling him in different directions who seem to need his help/attention. >.>; .... *nervous* *doesn't like being touched*.... O... I think in her mind, it's the fact that he was so willing to open up and get close to an island nation on the other side of the world after a few days or so and even basically date her, when she was right next to him for about 2-300 years and he barely paid her any attention. I also like to think that since she's technically the youngest (but not necessarily the smallest) of all the states, she's allowed to act like a child and is oblivious to how her actions (expecially when emotionally driven) affect those around her. That's just me though.

And I agree that since she's the youngest and was forced into statehood against her will, she didn't really want to get to know the other states. But since she's older and is warily accepting her fate that she's not going to stop being a state any time soon, that she's gonna start to get to know them better, hence my plan in the beginning when she first met up with them at the dance.

Yeah, Leilani is still pretty young and I think her being so isolated might make her insensitive/naive when it comes to other people's feelings. Makes perfect sense. I can also see how she'd be set off by the other island thing, too.
I-I'm fine... th-that stuff doesn't bother me no more... *shaking a little from the effort of being cuddly*
Except that he refuses to call England by his real name and has an extreme aversion to being cuddled or given any sort of affection. (=u= );

I just looked up the statehood dates of all of the states and wow, are there some differences. Georgia is technically the eldest (1787), followed by Massy (178 cool , then SC (178 cool , then NC (1789), then TN (1796), then Ohio (1803), then Michigan (1837), then Texas (1845), then Hawaii (officially in 1959!). That's a lot of difference in age!
And I agree, most likely Hawaii will just avoid him at all costs especially if she sees him with Cherelle, both out of slight jealousy and regret for her sparratic and hurtful actions.

I think we're considering the original colonies' ages to start when they were first officially founded as colonies so there's an even GREATER age difference, actually. XD Massy is actually the oldest state in the RP being originally settled by the Pilgrims in 1620!!!
Aww, sad. I imagine TN will just let her have her space and assume she really does hate him. Since, you know, he still thinks she's mad at him for not being nice to Latvia. (<--He's not too bright in case you haven't noticed)
If you really wanna be more of a family, then we can start tryin' now. I mean... just 'cause you ain't got too many with us now don't mean we can't start makin' new memories together. If you wanna, I mean...
