It certainly was a training day, but then again, it was always a training day for young ninja in Konohagakure -- especially within the Hidden Leaf Village. Although Yomi wasn't much of a fighter, she understood her role as support. She didn't have any lofty goals whatsoever, but she sought to improve her caliber in healing others, and making sure ninja actually survived. Hopefully,
she would never need to put her skills to use in an emergency. . . But, of course, she was hoping for so herself -- after all, what use would she have if there were no injuries to be had?

So, she made her way through the academy after acquiring her headband. Stopping by the academy's medical ward, she gathered a few scrolls on the basics of Eiseijutsu so she could fortify her knowledge on it. After all, her mother was rather relentless when it came to teaching her --
but she could always use practice.

Being the well-read girl that she was, Yomi quickly got to work with the most basic skill all Medical-nins should have -- threading a wound. Opening the scroll up for instructions, as well as recalling the foundation if it all, she stepped toward a dummy within the medical ward and began to practice on it. She began to stitch fake wounds, carefully with the needle and thread provided for her for practice. She didn't bring her mother's thread and needle -- mainly because she wanted to start from the very beginning, like her mother had in the past. Although her skills were not adroit, her green eyes were trained on the stitches she threaded, and a few minutes later, she managed to close up quite a few.

Now with that practice covered after a few more times, Yomi migrated to another dummy -- this time, one with accurate positionings of tendons, ligaments, muscles, and tenketsu. She began to massage the dummy as her mother had shown her various times in the past, paying careful attention to apply gentle, pressing motions to properly free up tension. Yomi knew that this kind of fundamental was intrinsic to making sure that the person's chakra flow was also being pumped through properly. . . It was also the first step in adequately treating ruptured or puckered tenketsu.
Breathing slowly and rhythmically, the ever reticent and focused Yomi continued to massage the dummy until she was comfortable and satisfied with the practiced motion.

At this point, Yomi was a bit tired -- not exhausted, and definitely not content with the progress she was making yet. Her mouth turned down a bit, but she walked towards one of the many fish provided for medical-nin students. These were special fish -- but not literally. Figuratively, they were, because they were alive enough to use for a special kind of basic technique -- donating and circulating blood. Her eyes curtained a bit as she received a slimy, thrashing fish. Sedating it by massaging the fish, she placed the fish onto a mantle of paper and allowed her chakra to secrete through her tenketsu -- from her palms, that is. She began to donate her chakra for the sake of circulating the fish's own blood, and it livened up a bit. Of course, the fish would die eventually -- but she dropped it back into the aquarium tank it was kept in after several sessions of practice.

Although Yomi did, in fact, wash her hands before "operating" on her "patients", she didn't actually cleanse her hands like all proper medical-nins should. With chakra, she would be able to. Raising her hands, she stared at her palms with an ever-so-slight slackjaw, breathing in and out. Her chakra began to wisp and wrap around her hands, cleansing them of impurities. However, they didn't do so in fact -- she was only just beginning. Closing her eyes, she continued to focus on cleansing her hands. . . And then her chakra began to snake over her wrists, and upwards her arms, all the way to the valley of her elbows. After several minutes of concentrating, the coruscating chakra she called upon dissipated. Looking outwards, she noticed that it was getting late. . .

"No point in staying around too long," She murmured to an empty room, placing her scrolls up and heading out of the academy's medical ward, towards home. Tomorrow, she would learn more, for sure, as well as revisit what she had learned today.

A day or so passed, and after gracing herself with more dutiful studying, Yomi made her way back to the medical ward of the academy. The chakra around her was dense, as per usual; after all, plenty of ninja were making sure that they were up to par with standard, whatever that looked like. To Yomi, she was far more concerned with remaining as support, although she had no doubt that she would need to learn how to properly defend herself if she ever became a target during battle. Her mother always urged her to study as many offensive eiseijutsu she could grasp, for they were impeccable when one knew anatomy well.

And due to her mother's relentless teachings, she did.

Once within the ward, Yomi gathered a scroll on properly extracting foreign objects from bodies. Unfurling the scroll, now placed next to the dummy she roved to, she began to mimic as many motions as she could gather while practicing on the dummy. The act of extraction was, perhaps, one of the most difficult to master; not being capable of extracting a foreign object carefully could spell potential doom for her patients both in the field and off the field. Senbon, shuriken pieces, and even edges of kunai knives were lodged into the anatomically correct body before her. After several minutes of practice and repetition, Yomi felt confident enough in her skills to extract small foreign objects and pieces, as long as the pieces needed to be excised weren't minuscule in size.

Even though Yomi was only just starting to take her lineage seriously, she was still not excited by the progress she was making. . . She assumed that the most she could do was try her best, and she was only eleven after all; she had an entire year of training to take advantage of before she needed to be considered 'strong'. Sighing, she retrieved a live fish and placed it onto a paper mat of her training desk. Yomi thought back to her mother's cautions of knowing how to defend herself not just as a ninja, but as a medical ninja. Furrowing her brow, she held her hands over the fish before her. Her chakra erupted from her tenketsu and whipped around the fish, its blood coagulating and becoming phlegmatic in a specific spot. Stagnating its blood, she began her path to understanding and knowing how to defend herself if becoming a target were ever to arise.

After some time investing in the preliminaries of clotting blood, Yomi noted that this could not also be used offensively, but to assuage pain as well. . . Perhaps in reverse? Perusing the scroll, she wasn't so far, and her countenance reflected her confusion. Directing her gaze to the fish once more, she decided that leaving it in pain was inhumane; so, she began to massage the bruise, even if it was painful at first, to ease up the blood flow. Afterwards, she returned it from whence it came, and directed her attention to one of the standing dummies that she could use for more offensive learning.

Shocking someone's muscles was certainly a better step in the right direction; striking at their muscles and ligaments, much like taijutsu, would certainly aid her in quickly escaping from a potential attack. And, by coupling her basic taijutsu training from the academy lessons she took,
she could proceed further. Of course, she didn't know anything extravagant; but she could certainly pin-point the right muscle at almost the right time to jolt it into a shock. . . But, only if she practiced. So, she unleashed her biting onslaughts on the dummy, making sure she used precision.
It wasn't long before she began to break a sweat and her breathing became shallow, which is when she hunched over slightly and paused for a bit to rest.

By the time she was finished going over what she learned, it was already dusking out; so, she placed the scrolls back from where they came and headed home. She felt more accomplished today, and more capable, and tomorrow she would expand her knowledge and horizons further so that she could be of some use to Konoha, someday.

Yomi soon returned to the academy after a few days. . . It didn't change much at all,
not in atmosphere nor design. Instead of heading towards the way of the medical ward this time,
she chose a different path -- she chose to head into the most open training room she could find,
closest to water. Perhaps she was going to resume her Suiton training in some way or form, and judging by the scroll she held in her hand, this assumption is corroborated.

Unfurling the scroll, she began to skim it. She didn't skim too often, but she had read it the night before, so she had the gist down pat. "A water sword. . ." She intoned, scanning the specific seals and movements. Yomi knew that, if someday she needed to heal someone on the field, she would have to protect herself. Most importantly, she needed to protect her patient. She would prefer to just play the evading game, but she knew that didn't always work out -- not because of all the great fantasy novels she had read, but all the history and combat books she had read during her time in the academy as well.

"Okay, here we go," Yomi assented, performing the seals for Water Sword carefully. Once on the final, releasing seal, she focused on the image of a sword, and stretched her arm out. In seconds, water molecules in the air condensed into droplets, creating a . . . Needle of pressurized water in her hand. Her brow quirked in shock and disappointment. "Not what I intended, but. .
." Inhaling and exhaling, she resumed the image, willing more water to gather. Seconds upon seconds passed. . . A minute later, she had gathered enough water to form the most familiar image to her -- a Kunai knife, but with the consistency of pressurized water.

However, she was far from finished. She continued to mold the image in her mind, concentrating all her Chakra output into releasing a far sharper, more refined shape. The liquid Kunai knife in her hand shuffled and bubbled, distending and contracting, until it became larger . . And soon began to take on the shape of a small sword. However, Yomi could tell it was still too weak. She slammed it against the mat and it split apart instantly, like atoms being vaporized. Quirking a brow, she still needed more practice. . . But she understood what she needed to do, and how she needed to do it.

And so, for a few hours, she practiced the hand seals and continued to manifest the appropriate image in her head. She needed a sword -- not a needle, not a dagger, not a shuriken. Seal procession after seal procession, she became more and more accurate. Water began to gather quicker, more easily, and was far more tractable. She guided the water further and further, and pressurized the forming shape of the water sword more. Eventually, she managed to form the shape of a katana, and she could tell that all the practice and chakra she imbued had paid off. To test this,
she dug it into the mat, and it remained intact -- piercing it well enough.

A smile graced her lips, and she nodded. Dissipating the sword, she could feel the beads of sweat on her forehead, and she felt tired. However, she knew she needed to increase her tolerance for exhaustion, and had to keep on going. She reformed the katana-shaped sword and continued to pressurize the water, keeping the shape in mind. Her hand seal weaving became more accurate and refined, and she didn't just mold the sword now -- she began to practice with it. Putting her combat training in the academy to use, she swung the sword around continuously, as she continued to develop its fineness, precision, and efficacy.

Hours passed, and she was a pile of sweat. . . But she felt accomplished. Even so, she didn't give in to her exhaustion, and she didn't feel like she had time to rest. She continued to disperse and reform the blade, to the point where her grip, technique, and procession became very intermediate -- but not expertly enough. Soon, the way she shaped the blade and how quickly she did so became almost second nature, and all of her hours of practice flourished into fruition. She managed to cut through dummies nearby with great alacrity, and the katana was now sharper and larger. . . But she was never a major fan of swords. Not really. . . It was the size of a nodachi now, actually, if she bothered to remember . . . Which she did -- she almost always remembered.

"I think this is fine. . . . For now. . . " She breathed, dispersing the sword once more and gathering her bearings. Rushing out of the academy, now that it was dusk, it was time for her to take a nice,
long bath, and head to bed. . . She sure was tired.

Days passed by, and it was finally time for the young medical kunoichi to get serious about her Eisejutsu. Although she had been practicing everything she learned over the past four days, to further adapt to the feel of the hand seals and technique, she needed to continue her advancement so she wouldn't stagnate. A medical ninja did far more than thread wounds and extract foreign objects; they employed chakra to save lives, and some even did so to disrupt lives.
Yomi, however, was moreso interested in the former; she hopes that the day will never come when she will have to use her Eisejutsu to kill another.

Stepping into the academy's medical ward once more, where Eisejutsu genin learned the ropes,
she retrieved several scrolls this time, walking towards a work mat and settling herself down.
At her reach, as per usual, was a realistic body double -- a complete dummy, but heavily accurate when it came to anatomy. Yomi studied anatomy again and again each and every day, as her mother believed memorizing each organ and its usage, its tenkentsu and its location, warranted a refresher course daily. If Yomi failed to study it every day, then she would fail as a medical-nin.

And she wasn't about failure -- never about failure.

Unfurling one of the first scrolls, Yomi studied the necessary steps in properly removing poison.
Although Poison Removal has never been about fully expunging a being of poison, it provided enough measure to counter it. Luckily for Yomi, she did have a bit of light poison provided to her by instructing medical-nin, along with a live fish when she requested it. Although she couldn't test on people, the method was fundamentally the same, and could be adapted. And thus,
she injected the thrashing fish with the minor poison and it became sedated -- but only due to the effects of the poison. Closing her eyes and performing the necessary seals, Yomi began to descent into envisioning the poison within the fish so that she could successfully treat, then cure it.

It took several minutes on end, but Yomi managed to excise a part of the poison from the fish's blood-stream through its pores, giving her time to begin to form an antidote. Following the steps given to her by the scrolls, she proceeded to engineer the necessary components of the antidote.
Since it was a very small amount of poison, and minor at that, it wasn't too difficult; it was basic chemistry, and separating enough poison to form an anti-body without a host. Soon, she injected the antidote into the fish and it soon began to thrash about a bit more, albeit it weakly and in desperate need of a break. However, Yomi wasn't done -- not yet.

Although Yomi had inoculated the fish, she still needed to make sure that the antidote's full effects kicked in. Therefore, she unfurled another scroll and began to practice the seals and methods to Blood Circulation. She had the basic principles down already, she only needed to do so with chakra. After expressing comfort with the seals from various practice mini-sessions, she began to expel chakra from her hands and applied them directly to the fish. Envisioning her antidote and the fish's anatomy, she began to wave her hands so that her chakra could began the pump.

It didn't happen immediately, however. It took her several tries to truly grasp the fish's heart, especially since it was so small. It'd likely be easier to grasp on a person, although harder to truly maneuver. Even so, after many attempts and arduous minutes, she managed to successfully circulate the fish's blood to not only fully apply her antidote, but to also revitalize it a bit. By this point, however, Yomi felt exhausted; even so, she still put in an effort to practice, as she repeated every step she took -- from poison removal to blood circulation, to make sure she had the true fundamentals down pat. More and more time elapsed, and she didn't give in; she continued to treat fish after fish, although her primary focus was on circulating its blood, and not really extracting and applying poison antidotes.

Exhaling after finishing that ardent session of medical training, Yomi retrieved the final scroll. Unfurling it, she blinked a few times in assurance of what the steps entailed. ". . . Chakra meditation?" She questioned, quirking a brow, her tone incredulous. She supposed it made sense, after all, since gaining resistance do diseases and poisons could also be built upon by employing her chakra. She always thought she would have to continuously inject herself and produce anti-bodies, whilst simultaneously treating herself. . . "But, this works, too," She admitted. Settling herself into Lotus Position, she began.

Tapping into the Power of Resistance for the sake of not potentially falling captive to her patient's diseases and virulences was certainly one of the most difficult trainings Yomi had to go through. Remaining still for so long, while directing her chakra to specifically guard her from disease and poison was very difficult. It took plenty of imagination, and even a bit of poison injections as well -- needless to say, it took hours, for she had to employ every single bit of training she had involved herself in from before to do so. She thought simple meditation would do it, but she was sorely mistaken -- literally. However, meditation was a major part of it -- after all, cloaking herself in enough chakra to protect her vitals from being contaminated was imperative and intrinsic to the Eiseijutsu she began to master. Although she was far from doing so, Yomi felt comfortable enough with her progress to call it quits.

Gathering her bearings, Yomi left the academy once more . . . Alone, and towards home.

At this point, the academy was Yomi's second home now. There was never a day when she was absent, even when she would rather be. After all, training shouldn't be all that her time is comprised of -- but if she wished to live up to expectation from her mother, she needed to truly learn all that she needed to. And thus, she was already nearing the academy when the waves of chakra lapsed over her once more. This was the usual; plenty of ninja were training at the academy,
and everything she felt and sensed was the usual as she got closer and closer. Although she couldn't sense all the chakra spaced out through the academy, she was still slightly disconcerted;
even then, not so much. It was only natural, after all. It had always been this way.

Appearing once more in the medical ward, Yomi retrieved a scroll she had been reluctant to retrieve for quite some time now -- the scroll of minor Healing Hands. An advanced technique she needed to learn to truly master all others, and one that would be quintessential in her healing endeavors in the future. Gripping the scroll with furor, she retrieved an injured fish and settled it onto her work mat. Settling herself down on her legs, she unfurled the scroll and began to scry for all important details. Mental reiterations later, she understood what she needed to do.

"This is gonna take some precise chakra control. . ." She muttered, to herself, and no one in particular. After all, she wasn't much of a talker to others. . . That was the usual.

The first step was to concentrate all her chakra to her palms -- to be released from her palms' tenkentsu, to be more precise. This forced her to truly focus, and derive most of her chakra which is disseminated within her body to her hands. Breathing in and out, she practiced these exercises until she needn't do so anymore. Minutes passed, and then she felt her chakra forming at her finger tips,
drawing itself to the center of both her out-stretched palms. Visible chakra began to evince itself as it swirled with a lighter color than she usual chakra. . . With slightly opened eyes, she noted this,
and then closed them anew. She continued to practice her chakra control through this method,
attempting to perfect the jutsu. . . It wasn't a sphere yet, as it needed to be, but simply amorphous chakra attempting to define itself.

Even more time elapsed and she could feel her chakra getting a grip. It didn't wrap itself around the fish, nor did it attack it. . . Instead, it began to coil around Yomi's own hands and wrists until she re-directed it. Exhaling sharply, she was losing the image of what she wished to accomplish. All proper medical ninja could form a sphere, especially with this minor Healing Hands jutsu. . . She needed to remember the vision she held in mind, and shouldn't go for something extravagant.
However, deep within her she wished to do so. . . But now was certainly not the time. She was years from being an expert, and without a dedicated master to inculcate her, she needed to do this based on her own readings and her mother's lectures. . .

Soon, the coruscating ball of healing chakra began to take shape, and the sphere was now perfected. Beads of sweat dripped down Yomi's cheeks from her forehead, and her breathing was somewhat unsteady. Re-centering herself, she reached the apogee of necessary chakra expulsion,
and the injured fish's superficial wounds began to seal with a cauterizing hiss. None of her methods were emollient or palliative; everything she performed was for the sake of sealing the wounds with chakra, and making sure that life-threatening infections were evaded. It took a few hours for her to reach this point, she managed all the same. Dispersing the humming chakra arm which formed at her palms, she drew herself back, body waning slightly. After a few seconds of rest, she retrieved the scroll and studied it further.

After all was done, she gathered her bearings and replaced all that she borrowed. Taking careful and leisurely strides, Yomi left the academy grounds feeling accomplished once more. Now, she needed to dedicate some more time to her Suiton prowess. . . Or perhaps she should advance the techniques she already knows and had been practicing at home. . . She wasn't too sure what she was going to do yet, but she still had some time to decide.

After several days of proliferating her medical skills, it was time for Yomi to learn a skill that could prove invaluable somewhere down the line -- being able to breathe under water.
It would only make sense, after all; her affinity for Suiton was very strong, and she was particular about this due to the logic behind it. If she ever caught herself drowning under water or somewhere along those lines, she wouldn't drown exactly; the pressure might kill her, depending on certain aspects, but she hoped that such an event would never come to pass. Even so, it was a small journey to the academy, and it was now time for a short training session.

Short, perhaps. . . Although she doubts her mother would be too happy about her returning home early. Her mother insisted that Yomi spend six out of her seven days per week training her ninjutsu and eiseijutsu, but Yomi was exhausted. It was always training, and even on her days off, her mother was always lecturing her and inciting fear of failure into her every day. She continued to instill the need for Yomi to never get herself killed in battle, if it were ever to come, as her safety would buttress the safety of all other ninja on the field. However, Yomi knew she would be only one of many medical-nin . . . But even so, her mother was ruthless when it came to elaborating on what could go wrong, and how to avoid it. It was difficult, and it was starting to anger Yomi.

But she had very little choice in the matter -- mother knows best, after all.

Just outside the academy, Yomi had already gathered the necessary scroll to read over before she begins her water breathing technique. At first, she considered plunging herself into the depths of a river, pond, or even a nearby larger body of water. . . But she wanted to be a bit more creative. So, instead, she somatically recited the necessary hand seals for water manipulation, and drew forth enough water around her head, until it encompassed her completely. Her breath being held, she recalled the hand signs that she needed to weave to breathe under water, and began to perform them. Seconds upon seconds passed, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to breathe. . . Her chest became tighter and she could feel herself losing consciousness. After a few more tries, she finally managed to activate the technique, and thus she was now breathing under the water of the bulb she enveloped her head in. By using her chakra to extricate oxygen molecules from water molecules, she was able to breathe, and she could feel bits of her chakra escaping her. At least, she could breathe, though.

Releasing the bulb of water, Yomi exhaled. . . Luckily, she didn't need to draw in breath, for she had already done so within the sphere of water. After a few seconds and after reviewing the hand seals from the scroll for further accuracy, she began to practice them anew until she could commit them to memory. After more and more practice, Yomi managed to form the sphere around her head once more, and the jutsu activated instantaneously -- although not without a single hand seal from the young kunoichi. More and more practice was employed in those first few steps, as she wanted to make certain she could become adroit enough at the skill so that she would -- hopefully -- never willingly drown within large bodies of water. In fact, she thought about how incredibly useful this technique could be when it came to performing potentially extravagant and more powerful Sution techniques. . . But that was still far into the future.

After a few more hours of practice, Yomi gathered her bearings and began to head home. There was very little else she wished to do today; she was tired, after all, and still completely sodden after releasing the bulb of water around her head. No doubt her mother would ask questions as to why Yomi returned to early -- perhaps stating things along the lines of "this isn't like you". But, even so, Yomi didn't want to completely become what her mother wished for her to be. . . Or at least, that's what she thought. She still wasn't too sure, but hopefully someday she'll figure it out.

Another day of training was upon her, and Yomi knew exactly where she needed to go. Her mother had been instructing her again, stating that although what she had learned so far was important, she needed to focus on other life-saving techniques as well. It'd take a while to truly master them all, but Yomi didn't wish to disappoint her mother -- she was the only one that Yomi truly wished to impress. She had to be honest, though -- she was growing sick of her educational screeds, but Yomi needed to keep at it.
She had a role to play in this world, as well.

Roving through the bright Konoha day, she made herself into the academy and through the halls. It wasn't long before she was settled in a familiar space, the medical ward, to begin her learning once again. Today, she was going to learn a very important technique that all Medical-nin needed to understand and execute promptly -- a transfusion jutsu. Retrieving the scroll and a semi-live fish, Yomi settled it onto a chakra-control scroll and began to study the technique scroll as well.

The Blood Transfusion Skill was difficult to master, especially when it required the Medical-nin to change their own blood type to that of the recipient. To learn the blood type of the recipient, she needed to use chakra to determine such. Typically, it would be done with A and B antibodies, but on the field and in emergency situations, there was simply no time for such.
Therefore, she used her chakra to determine the blood type of the fish,
and incised the fish enough to blood-let it. After a few minutes of blood-letting, the fish had lost sufficient blood to require a transfusion.

"Just need to make sure I don't take too much from myself," She murmured,
to herself, of course. Furrowing her brow as she pricked and incised her elbow, she directed said part as close to the fish's wound as possible. Within seconds, she had a tyrian purple sphere of chakra manifested required to draw her blood out, convert it, and into the fish. Minutes upon minutes upon minutes passed, and nothing happened. It was soon an hour later, and blood began to trail upwards from her own wound and towards the sphere of chakra, adapting to its shape, and then swirling into the fish's wound. She kept a steady hand, beads of sweat trailing down her cheek. She kept her breathing rhythmic, centering herself.

After a while, she managed to transfer a quarter of a pint to the fish -- a bit more than it had lost, and closed up the wound with her minor healing hands.
Exhaling, she felt slightly exhausted. She had given up some of her blood,
after all. Retrieving her pack, she withdrew a snack and ate quietly.

“Not now, Saya,” Kumiko said as she picked the little white fox up off the counter and placed her on the ground. “I’ll play later. I’m training right now. I’m practicing the Genshi technique so I can become a great medical ninja, like my grandma.” Kumiko sighed as she looked at the scroll. It was a simple enough, but Kumiko was having real problems perfecting it. Maybe the cut was too deep or maybe it wasn’t deep enough. She just couldn’t get the wound to close. Sighing in defeat, she grabbed a bandage and placed it on her arm. She had accident practicing with a kunai earlier in the day. It wasn’t deep, but she thought she could practice a little. Maybe it was because she was practicing on herself that she wasn’t getting it.

CRASH. Kumiko looked over to the direction of the crash. She saw Saya in the middle of a bunch of broken breakers and glass cups. “S-Saya? Are you okay?” Kumiko ran over to Saya, noticing that she had a few cuts and scratches. “Oh no, Saya you’re bleeding… I have no choice.” Kumiko picked Saya up as carefully as she could and moved back to the table. She removed all the glass fragments and began the process again. She concentrated her chakra into connecting the flesh back together. To her surprise, she watched as the cuts began to connect back. “I did it! How do you feel, Saya?” The little fox stretched a little and looked over herself. She looked satisfied and licked Kumiko on the cheek. “Hey! Well, that’s good. You shouldn’t have been up there! Now I have to explain why all the beakers and cups are broken. Geez Saya…”

The snack was very well deserved indeed, and her light-headed state was starting to get better. Breathing a relieved sigh, Yomi felt that she could let go -- even if for a moment. However, she knew that she needed to continue her practice. If she chose to become lax in this moment, then she wouldn't advance at the pace her mother wished her to. She needed to be superior to her wishes of relaxing and laying back. She needs to understand that all the rest she receives is from sleeping -- in her waking hours, it's imperative that she takes advantage of them to train, and only train. Determined, she reviewed the scroll of the Blood Transfusion technique she had begun to learn. . . And she seems to have gotten the fundamentals down pat.

Smiling to herself, Yomi rolled the scroll back neatly, and looked to the fish. Frowning, Yomi felt somewhat saddened at its pitiful state. It was flopping, barely able to breath. . . There wasn't much she could do for the being, although that's what her mind led her to believe. Feeling a weld of emotion wave over her for the lifeform before her, Yomi remembered a basic technique her mother once showed her: an ability to provide oxygen to another being with chakra. However, would it work on a fish? Yomi was unsure. Just as she was about to rise for the scroll, which was undoubtedly within the records of the medical ward, Yomi heard a strident crash and a screech from one of the students within the ward.

Needless to say, Yomi was surprised.

A harried expression and a quick snap in the general direction of the accident, Yomi's wide-eyes regarded the presence of a young kunoichi not much older than she, caring over a small, white fox with her own medical prowess. Furrowing her brow, Yomi was curious about this girl's chakra, especially now that she was focused on her. Dismissing this thought, she noted the presence of the white fox within the girl's arms herself. It didn't seem like a common species around Konoha. . .

Walking towards the girl and her fox, Yomi took in the shattered beakers and the mess that Kumiko's fox caused. No doubt the teachers will be mad. . . Yomi thought, groaning internally.

"We should pick this up," Yomi announced, her movements and presence having been quiet behind the girl before. Regardless of reaction, Yomi was already ahead, weaving signs to draw water from the atmosphere around them to ensnare the pieces of scattered glass into safety. Looks like she intended to clean up in a creative way.

She tossed her tattered cloak to the floor behind her and remained in chest wraps and her poofy legged pants as she waited, arms crossed.

________________________Sung Oni________________________

Sung followed quickly behind the kage until they got to the ring, to which he took up his own position and watched the kage go to the other side. Once she was set up he gave a short bow, stating "Thank you for the blood that is about to be spilled" as he pulled out his white mask and equipped it to his face.

Coming back up from his bow he brought out his gunbai off of his back, resting his hand on the ring that was on the top.

"Lets DO THIS"

In a blurred disappearance Sung used Flicker Step" to close to distance between the two, his left hand gripping the ring that was at the end of the gunbai as he swung it around directly at the kage from a partially crouched position using the momentum to help the swing. Because he held it at the very end as well it gave him a bit of extra range, being maybe seven feet away from her as he turned on his heels with the spin attack (Hard Physical D Rank). His right hand clawed along the ground as he did this but that was likely just for show.

In the back of his mind the thought of needing a replacement gunbai was alive and well, but eh.

She judged the relative power of the genin swing would would use it as a gauge for her own strikes. Her hand opened and wrapped briefly around the gunbai, then glowed blue, adhering to the boys weapon. That's when her strike lanced out. Keeping a hold of the weapon, her own fan, closed and much smaller, lanned out in a single smack aimed for the side of the genin head. She applied the same force the genin had to her strike.

________________________Sung Oni________________________

Big bang boom. Sung didn't attempt to dodge the slap, instead actually he tilted his head so that it would impact his horn first and then the side of his mask. The smack was just as resounding but far less painful for him, even then it stung like a b***h. However Sung kept his spinning rotation in motion. Rotating on his left foot he yanked back on the ring with his left hand, jerking the weapon backwards. Following this circle his right foot shot out, aiming to slam into the side of the womans ankles and uproot her, as his right hand now barreled forward in a clench fist aimed directly for her cheek.

Following his movements meant she could restrict his spin and have him standing sideways to her. She kept her weapon folded against her forearm as she let it rotate into a sort of brace and kept it out of the way. The gunbai however would be forcibly jammed into the top of the boys foot, pinning him tor the mat as he shifted it forward. As the final strike came for her jaw, the fan along her arm fell slowly, hanging there suspended a foot below her hand as if by some wire. She caught the boys wrist in an iron grip. There was no pity in those bright eyes as she spun, releasing her grasp on the boys weapon, As she rotated his arm, twisting into a lock before bringing her elbow down hard on his shoulder. The final strike of the setup would have the woman bringing her Lee up into the guys face in a simple formless strike, never letting go of his limb with that iron grasp

Sweet god it was like fighting a concrete wall. Covered in barbed wire. And bears. The sound that his arm made was one that he didn't really like to hear if he could avoid it, let alone the pain that follow quickly after it. Everything blunt he had thrown at the woman was just getting either broken or stopped so it might be time to switch tactics a bit.

Substitution technique was used, though it was after his arm had already been messed to hell, and he'd reappear behind her roughly twenty feet away. From his equipment he pulled out a kunai in his left hand, with his right now doing much more then just hanging limply as it were.

Instead of keeping that distance however he jumped right the hell back into the fray, literally leaping forward a short distance before he disappeared in flicker step and reappeared only a few feet away.

With his kunai he made what could best be called a feint as it looked like he was going to try to stab at her chest, assuming she had turned to face him of course, when he'd change his bodies orientation. Since he was airborne by a few feet he actually tilted his head down the moment before any impact, going horns first for her gut.
