You've obviously never read the Crystal Cave series, or the Mists of Avalon.

Seriously, you read the Crystal Cave!? I thought I was the only person in history to read that book! That was definately the best version of the Myrtthin series I've ever read. I never read the Mists of Avalon though. If its as good as the Crystal Cave, I'll have to pick it up! I was olunteering at the nursing home mymother used to work at and they had this box filled wth books. They said that I could go pick as many as I would like because they were gonna throw it away soon. Well, I rummaged through the box for my lunchbreak and found The Crystal Caves. I had no idea what it was about, but it as one of the more interesting books in there. They had alot of old lawyer type books and I'm not into the murder mystery or court thing too often, it has to be a really good book. I pickd out a few more but the best one was he Crystal Caves...lol, it was all old and the pages were yellow and kinda of brittle, like I found some ancient book written ages ago or something. It was nice and nostalgic.

Of course I have. biggrin Have you read the other books in the series too?
Mists of Avalon is more about the life of Morgaine (aka Morgan le Fay) and how her and the priestesses of Avalon (along with Merlin) brought Arthur to power and such. It's a FANTASTIC book, but it's quite thick. There is a movie of it too, which was pretty great. There is a sequel that I still haven't read yet as well lol

no, I didnt know that it WAS a series. The book ended and I thought that was the end of it! Can you tell me the names of the rest of the series please? If yuo like fantasy adventure, you should try out The Shannara series. Sword, Scions, Druid, Elf Queen and The Elfstones of Shannara. All of them end in "of Shannara". That was a particularly good read as well, long series and some good characters!

Edit: My favorite part was when he went back to the cave and found the bones of his master. That was freakin cool and sad all at the same time.

(Yami, I"m not concerned about it anymore, I said my piece. Sorry you didnt understand I was farther from the party than a few feet, perhaps it was a mistake on my explanation, but I nkow I said, "Walks far around the class to not disturb anyone.". I imagined that to be farther than a few feet.)

The Crystal Cave
The Hollow Hills
The Last Enchantment
The Wicked Day
The Prince and the Pilgrim

biggrin

Yami, could you please not refer to grumpy women as being "PMSy" or Periody"? I friggan HATE it when men assume women are being bitchy because they have their period. I'm not saying your mom was right in being all moody at you, and I have no idea if she is actually on her period or not, but I find it offensive when men refer to a woman in a bad mood as "PMSing."

*high fives Sir* xD

Also, sorry Yami but I'm going to agree with Aki. There could be something seriously going on with your mom that is making her that way.

Aki, the new female SeeDs wear the uniform as well, right?

You don't have to wear it, but yes, the females wear theirs too, typically.

Thanks for the list! I didnt know there were so many books...that is so awesome. I'm going to try to find them as soon as I can. Do they still sell them in bookstores or is this like "searching old thrift store shelves" kind of searching?

We should have a thread here for suggested books. I would suggest the Ice fire series by Chris D' Lacy and the Tithe series by Holly Black.

Anyways, I just got my PS3/PS2 and my TV hooked up. I never thought that I'd miss my games so much. xD

You might be able to find them in a store like Chapters, but used book stores or Amazon.com are probably your best bet. I bought all my Crystal Cave books at this amazing used book store where I used to live.

I dont know that we have a used bok store near me. We have Barnes and Noble, Borders and the like. thats about it. I guess I can search it on google maps though! Like I said earlier though, go pick up the Eragon book. Its way better and more adult themed than the movie and the books get better and better as they progress, no stupid parts where its boring to read either.
