Remember, Weapons Master are crippled concerning Genjutsu but have easier access to higher Medic jutsu, and Samurai have more Genjutsu available however their requirements for Medic jutsu are so handicapped there doesn't seem to be any point unless you want to use 'Cleanse' to get the blood off xD
Both Samurai and Weapon master only have 1 element
I'll go Weapon Master myself, if I can't cut it half with a sword, I doubt Wind jutsu will make much of a difference >_>

*room shifts to a classroom and Tenshi walks in with wizard robes and Yuki appears in a chair. Tenshi points to a chalkboard which a wand appeared in his hand* Ahem! The weapon class allows you full access to one element only, however, it comes with many pluses. One such is being allowed to make 6 custom weapons to your choosing and liking.
You can also channel chakra into your weapons to power them and learn weapon related techniques quickly. You can even learn medical techniques! So all in all, your fast, flexible, and great with weapons! Genjutsu doesn't help you much, ninjutsu is limited but accessable. And taijutsu is limited when your jonin. All in all, I strongly suggest your element be lightning or wind

*is taking notes so fast the paper starts smoking then stops* uuuuuh I've always been good with a sword. My original character always had double sabres......so.....would that be samurai or weapons class? I think weapons class but I'm not sure cause she's sposed ta be good at stuff like hand to hand too O.o'
