Inai How would you know what I have or haven't said to her? I don't keep all discussion with all guild members in one topic in one guild on one website. You -have- attacked her posts before, so I don't really blame her if she posts to you. Please try to take a reasonable, unbiased look at the posts that have been going on here, and admit that you have acted immaturely and offensively, even when people haven't been offensive to you. I'm just asking that you keep your attacking posts to a minimum and try to control yourself. I -really- don't like how a lot of the members of this guild have felt attacked and offended, and don't even enjoy coming to this topic sometimes because they're afraid their opinions and posts will be attacked. It's not just me, it's not just Takarai, it's a lot of the members of this guild. A lot of the most active members of this guild. You know, we're not such terrible people, when we aren't personally offended or having our posts and opinions attacked. Anyway, I'm going to ask you again - please control yourself. You're offending a LOT of people, whether or not you want to admit it. I was being inoffensive.. Did you see what I posted. I was just having a casual conversation with someone, when she attacked me because she didn't bother to read it first because I've had arguments with her in the past (and she doesn't like me because of it), and then YOU yell at me? Who's being biast? That's like if I was walking down the street talking to someone and then someone else runs up and shoots me in the leg and I shoot back at them, and THEN the cops try to arrest ME. There's no way that'd even happen or stand up in court. I don't know you haven't said something to her, but it makes no sense that you would (to go with my analogy) try top areest me for shooting at someone who just walked up to me and shot me in the leg. I was trying to not argue and have a regular conversation, and in the end, you yell at me for someone provoking conflict with me. And if you read back some pages (and as I said before), I was trying to not fight or post my opinions (which are the offensive post you're talking about because they're generally relating to my dislike of Kyo). Don't yell at me for something I didn't do just because you don't like me already because I don't obsess over Kyo like you do. That is not only rude, it's being biast, as you said earlier not to do. It doesn't matter to you that MY posts are attacked, but according to you, I'm not supposed to say anything when they are. THAT would be me attacking someone else's posts (not defending myself or my opinion), which according to you I can't do. It makes no sense.

I have to say, I'm with namida on this one. Takarai did kinda come out of no where and I don't feel naimda was doing anything wrong. We were simply having a legitimate conversation. Personally, I think we all tend to get a bit itchy [Yes, I mean itchy] about anti-Kyo people in this thread. I know I do. Anyway, digressing again... namida_no_chi AlaLavei namida_no_chi music is always a more important elemant in a rock band.... Otherwise they're just a crappy band who rely on their vocalists to set their sound apart from everyone else's. Almost everyone's voice is different, so it's not too hard to find a vocalist who doesn't sound like all the other band's vocalists. But it's a LOT more difficult to write music that doesn't sound like every other rock band's music. I disagree. It's my experience that most "up-and-coming" bands' vocalists generally sound the same depending on genre, and generally it's either the guitarist or the drummer that really sets the band apart from other bands. And I don't think it's so much writing music that doesn't sound like everyone else, as it is writing music that doesn't sound like yourself. There's just so many bands it's near impossible not to seem similar to someone, the main trap is not letting your songs sound the same. I believe I was saying that any band that relys on their vocalist to get listeners is a sad, sad band. And as you said, the thing that sets people's sounds apart are a guitarrist etc (although I think it's more the music, like Malice Mizer... no one had really done music like theirs before, so they're like one of THE most popular J-rock bands ever). I believe those two statements are relaying the same concept. Yes I guess you're eventually going to sound like someone, but It's obvious that you're not supposed to say the same things over and over again *coughlinkinparkcough*, because otherwise your music gets tired and people lose interest, so I'll have to agree with you there. But the point is Dir en grey hasn't had the same sound for the last 8 years, and that being said, I don't think Kyo is as vital to the band as everyone seems to think. For individualizing their sound or anything else, because as you just said yourself, a vocalist doesn't make the band. I believe that Kyo is vital to the band, not so much the fact that he's the "poster boy" of the band like we see more often here in American rock, but more because he's a stability in the changing nature of Dir en grey. His voice and lyrics may be similar to others out there, but he's still uniquely Kyo and I think people recognize and hold onto that as style changes. I suppose I find a voice harder to imitate than an instrument, so it seems logical to me that other band members could be replaced with a smaller fuss than if Kyo were to just up and disappear. Having said that, Dir en grey would not be Dir en grey missing any of their members. ... except Die... because he's the "other" guitarist. lol

Namida, Inai was asking you as a Mod to stop re-stirring past conflicts. Just like you did with this post. This whole conversation -was- settled 5 pages back. It's merely her job, as a Moderator, to make sure things are cool with all the members in guild.
And I can understand that. She talked to me about it as well, and I agreed to be civil as long as you are civil too (see my post a few pages back in regards). Because we all know that attacking other posts will result in those posts getting attacked, etc., and so on.
So, quite simply put it this way:
If no one attacks, no one will -be- attacked. Ne? domokun
