Pyne knelt down beside her. "Come on, let's go lay you down." He said as started to pick her up.

Alyxis turned her head into his shoulder, and whimpered into it, as her back tensed yet again. She gripped his shirt with her good hand and her grip tightened in time with the waves of pain.

Pyne picked her up slowly and began to carry her back to where their sleeping bags were.

Alyxis didn't fight him. If anything she clung to him harder.

Pyne set her down slowly on her sleeping bag and helped her get inside it.

After a while of hunting, Kaede returns carrying three rabbits, and a small pheasant.

Alyxis was curled up into a ball in the sleeping. Every now and then she would writh in pain.

Kaede noticed Alyxis and was warry not to disturb her. She dropped her kill and sat there, waiting for somebody to notice her.

Devin was crawling on his belly toward Kaede, the rabbits his obvious goal. He was covertly licking his nose the closer he got.

Pyne looked over at Devin and glared at him. "No, we're going to cook it first. Then you can eat it." He said taking the rabbits and began skinning them.

Kaede couldn't help but chuckle to herself as she watched Wolf Devins attempt at the rabbits. She sat down with the pheasant and began plucking it. As she does she looks up at Pyne. "Scuse me Pyne, but I noticed that Alyxis doesnt look so good at the moment. What happened?"

Pyne continued to skin the rabbits and began roasting them. "She used a lot of energy to heal herself. She just needs to rest." He said as he watched the meat roast.

Wolf Devin whined. His instincts told him raw meat tasted good. He sat as close to Pyne as he could, head on paws, watching the meat.
(I know from experience not to feed dogs cooked bones.)

Kaede looks at Wolf Devin and at her freshly plucked pheasant. "Pyne, do you mind if I give the pheasant to Devin? He looks kinda hungry..."

"I'll feed him whenever the rabbit is done cooking. Do not feed him anything please." Pyne said as he seasoned the rabbit.
