 Mourning Dove World's Most Interesting (as in insane) Mercenary
So we do agree on something..
MD: Yup! *smiles again* Dove was just about to greet this new person when Li beat her to it. "Hey! That's my line!" She whined. Then I questioning glance crossed her eyes. "Isn't it?" She took out a large book and began flipping through. "Oh. I guess not.." She said slowly, as she put the 'script' away. Then she looked at the other guy. "Hey... Don't I know you from somewhere?.." She asked suspiciously. She seemed to be deep in thought.. Then, it was like a lightbulb went off in her head. "Did I spin you like a beanie propeller and leave you in a motel room in Dubuque?" She asked, in a serious tone. (There are 2 allusions in here. The first to guess what they are and where they are from gets a prize! *hint, the second one has to do with her origen*) "Yes, I DO have a habit of qouting my father. You gotta problem with that?!" *threatens with sword*

Victor looked down at the red head and gave her a smug little smirk. "I try. he replied cooly, then turned to look around again. "She was supposed to be waiting inside. Something might have caught her attention."

DD jumped forward startled and raised his fists, ready for attack. "Right, I am getting damn sick and tired of you teleporters sneaking up on me. It won't happen again.", he growled as he held his ground, radar sense pinging.

Jai-Li walked over and put a hand on Daredevil, lucky his arm. A flow of life energy seems to be coming from her. She smiles at him. "You should calm down. Everything will be just fine."

§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲ Alexi simply gave a sharp nod towards Jai-Li, whom was in the background to him. It was mostly because she was the least known to him but that would probably soon change. However, this certainly did not allow for Alexi to return to his room in the Baxter Building but whatever...it could wait. "Hello to yourself." He said politely, watching the three of them. Looking at Mourning Dove he merely shrugged, shaking off the sparking black electricity running through his hands. "No, that was my informant that you did that to. I was simply standing there and watching." His eyes searched over Mourning Dove almost like examining her before turning away. That mission had been awkward and a long time ago, Alexi himself not even remembering the extent as to what the mission was about but he simply digressed. "But you know me, I would think. Alexi Stark Romanov, son of Tony Stark and Agent Romanov, or Black Widow. While you are Mourning Dove, the daughter of mercenary Deadpool. We went on a few missions at times, not that you would remember." With that, his eyes turned towards Dare Devil. "Teleporting...isn't the proper term but one that can be used suitably." he said slowly, his hands still on his katanas, "Stand down." It wasn't yelled but it was a chilled order...Alexi was certainly tired of individuals trying to attack him upon appearance. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

"FINALLY!", Murdock exclaimed as he spread his hands open in the universal sign of non aggression "I've been just wandering around waiting for another cape to help ground me a bit."[. Daredevil nodded silent, but warmly toward Jai LI and stepped forward, extending his gloved hand. "I am hopelessly new in town."

Jai-Li tilted her head a bit. "Um, that's not a cape. That's a person. I think that a cape doesn't have a life force." She looked back at Alexi. "Yes, he differently looks alive to me. Are you a living cape, sir?"

"It's been seven months since I've been back into normal civilization. I am more or less, "new" considering how far out of the loop I've been about recent events. Luckily, I don't have to pay taxes." That was a good thing anyone was really envious of and well, its not like Alexi was in any financial trouble. His own father was a multi billionaire in which Alexi held some shares in Stark Industries while he was also payed thousands to millions of dollars just to kill and spy...while inventing on the side...monetary issues held no value in Alexi's lifestyle. But at Jai-Li's question, Alexi tilted his head at the awkward question. "No....I'm simply an abomination." He replied cooly, answering as honestly as he could, "Please don't ask...such frivilous things. A cape by what Daredevil here is referring to is simply a super hero with a cape." Inside of his mind, Alexi's own thoughts on not trusting other individuals was just continuing to grow...this was proof that other people couldn't be trusted to be allies or even to do a simple task. It really made him want to throw up. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

MD: Ok! New subject! Dove had spent the last few moment recalling the event, then she pointed at Alexi. "Oh yeah! Now I remember! That was when we had to take down that crooked priest!" Yes, people. Although it may be hard to believe, Mourning Dove is one of the good guys'. So technically she was 'cape' too. Except she was insane, which makes conversation difficult. "So how've ya been, Alexi? Still bangin' that sexy blonde tax attorney?" As if she actually cared about his love-life... No wait, isn't this considered 'small talk'? (I take it no one cares about my prizes...) *Sees wanted poster with her face on it* "No... no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, this is bad, this is very very bad, this is really bad..." *takes poster off the wall and shows it to the others* "They just can't get my nose right!"

Jai-Li looked down at the ground a bit. "I'm sorry. I didn't think that was frivolous. I've only known of people in the village using cloaks to keep warm and dry. I've never really heard much on superheroes. And I don't understand why you think you're an abomination. You're too pretty to be an abomination. People aren't usually as shiny as the three of you." She had started kicking at the ground as she was speaking. She didn't really understand why he was upset. Up until now, she had never been outside the village she grew up in.

At that he looked at Jai-Li and raised a single black eyebrow. Pretty? Alexi had been called many things over his lifetime but that was actually a new one. "Pretty?" he scoffed, "I don't even compare to the word. What you see now is one of many things that the world sees but what it covers will hopefully never be revealed again." And his eyes turned black as if to reiterate his point. He was what he was and only a few unfortunate individuals knew what dwelled deep within his body. And most were six feet under. He looked up at them all as black electricity zip lined individually as sparks in his hair. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

MD: Yes! New subject! Dove looked over to Alexi, her tone growing both serious and skeptical. "Actually, my friend, I believe 'pretty' is the term she uses for people who have a certain energy signature. I too, can read energy. And with that said, this is no normal little girl." She grinned, a playful glint her eyes once again. "Rockets set to full speed, weapons ready for fire,hyper drive engaged. Let's blow this taco stand!"

Anyways, what could all three of you possibly doing here? I'm detecting quite a few heros and villains here. His eyes examined the three of them as the shadows whispered into his ears everything about them.". His hands hardened into fists at the constant flow of information, his brain absorbing it all into the excess that was his memory.
