"I'm tired," Guan said, regretting it when he heard how pathetic it sounded.
Crystal grinned wickedly, her eyes and voice growing very cold. "Yes, you were so very gullible too," She taunted Lily, grabbing the manacles and giving a strong yank to pull Lily towards Tynan. "Though don't feel too bad. I am a wonderful actress."
"A bit too good," Tynan murmured quietly, taking Ukaia's hand and gently pulling her up to her feet.

Uakai stood up obidently the last of the flowers falling to the ground
"Why... " she asked uncertinally h er head bowed a bit.. Why was Lily there also..

"You're tired. I see." Cerri looked up, shaking her head at him. "Well then. You should definitely stay here while I go. Maybe if you sleep for long enough, all of this will just go away, and you won't feel so tired anymore.
"Not really." Lily murmured quietly. "I just wanted to believe you were a good person. I just feel badly that poor Richard got caught in your web. I suppose you know where Arlen is too then." She'd almost fallen at the yank, but she managed to keep her feet, and plodded along with Crystal, not putting up any resistance. "Ah, Tynan. Somehow I'm not surprised." she added, seeing the man, and Ukaia.

"I.." Guan began, but shook his head. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I can't keep playing to role of the unshakable man who is untouched by the tragedies around him."
Tynan nodded to Lily and then looked to Crystal, waiting for her to give a signal.
"Actually it's just the opposite," Crystal said, nodding to Tynan and waiting for him to forge a portal from the shadows. "Somehow Arlen slipped away and you two just happen to be the perfect bait for bringing him back to us."

"You don't have to be unshakable, you moron." Cerri answered him almost gently. "I understand that you're tired... but when you start selecting which bad guys you're willing to be worried about, it's time, I think, to re-examine your life."
Lily thought a moment, then glanced to Ukaia, feeling a bit badly for the woman. Then, she gave a small, sad smile. "You know, that's an interesting point, Crystal. And I, for one, would rather die." Moving suddenly, and with surprising strength, she slammed into Crystal, jerking her manacled hands out of the other woman's grip. Then, twisting herself painfully, she grabbed the dagger she wore on her at all times, fumbling it only a bit as she threw herself to the ground, fully intending to ram the weapon into the most vulnerable place she could reach. She wouldn't be bait for these awful people... she wouldn't be the trap that Arlen fell into.

Guan nodded. "Perhaps you're right," he said softly. "Maybe I should take a trip as well, find a successor."
Tynan frowned and ran to Lily, grabbing for the dagger with an arm that was wrapped with bandages, an arm that Arlen had severed several months ago. "Don't do it," he hissed to her softly.
Lady Crystal fumed as she regained her balance. "Stupid girl," she spat at Lily, not caring if she actually went through with the suicide attempt.

"Lilly!!" Ukaia said anciously. .but stayed where she was. She felt like she had led gued to her feet. Damnit.. why was it she was so useless. Lilly was going to kill herself right infront of Ukaia.. and ukaia could only .. stand there

Cerri froze at that, frightened of a few of the possible implications. "A successor?" she asked quietly. "You aren't... planning on training one, then going off to die or anything silly like that, are you?" Her eye turned to him as she waited, fear and concern there.
"Why shouldn't I?" Lily asked the man quietly, then kicked for his legs, trying to keep the dagger from his reach, though it was difficult with the manacles. "Why the hell should I let you use me as bait for the man I love?"

"No," Guan assured Cerri. "Just retiring, or thinking about it."
"Just don't," Tynan said, obviously tryign to keep his voice down while still beeing heard as his hand closing around the blade of the knife.
"Just let the little b***h kill herself if she wants to," Crystal said impatiently. "We still have Arlen's dear sister."

Ukaia was being ignored.. she knew the feeling she had.. was from the collar.. so.. She sat down on the ground once more.. and began to tug on the collar while making it look like she was jsut huddling on the ground
It was a usless idea.. but.. mabye.. she knew it was worthless.. and that she was worthless..

"Alright then." Cerri hesitated, then crossed to him quickly, wrapping her arms around him tightly. "I'm sorry... that I yelled." she whispered into his shoulder.
Lily glared at him a moment, then relented; after all, she had no choice. Letting go of the knife, she fell back completely on the ground, going limp. She damn well wasn't going to walk into that portal. They'd have to drag or carry her.

"I'm sorry that I dropped this information on you like this," Guan said, hugging Cerri to him.
"Finally," Crystal said impatiently. "Take us to the spot Tynan."
Tynan nodded and pocketed the knife as he repositioned the portal to form underneath the four of them, having them fall through it and come out halfway up a far away mountain.

Ukaia gave a startled squeek as they fell though but she kept tightly curled up where she was. Her finger working on the collar trying to find the way to get it off of her.

"How about..." Cerri paused, then offered him a bit of a smile. "How about we both forgive each other, and go to bed." she suggested softly.
Lily grunted as they went through the portal, but otherwise gave no indication that she'd even registered the change. She seemed to be prepared to retreat fully inside herself... until she remembered Ukaia. She sat up slightly, looking to the neko, worried. "Uka... are you okay?" she asked softly.
