Totagomi Tonberry Crunch Totagomi Tonberry Crunch Thank you. What I need is some constructive criticism, though. A compliment is nice ^-^ I can do that. You need to work on your shading to give it more definition. Also, working in light outlines first and then darkening those outlines will help to make it look less blocky. Humans aren't made like boxes. xP Hope that helps a bit. > < Edit: But I do really mean what I said. your art is nice. :3 ...Wow, I did start with my light 4H pencil for outlines XD... I don't think I've ever used that kind of pencil before. How light does it draw when you make soft outlines? Barely visible. The softest pencil you can use.

Also, all this talk about is making me wish that the scanner would work on this computer. D:

I've been working on pretty much everything else. I want school to be back so I can doodle all over my notes D:

Second I'd say is head angles and then feet.

Totagomi In The Kitchen Totagomi Interesting. o: Also kinda reminds me of the Joker.
Not that I modeled her after the Joker, but they both follow the same trope, called For The Evulz. She's also Evilly Affable. I intend to make most of what she does funny, even if it's really bad. p:I know you didn't. :b So what does she look like?
Not sure. Probably like one of my roleplay characters. xD
Probably going to keep that she cut her face up for the lulz.
"When they saw that I discarded whatever 'prettiness' I had before, the reaction was... invigorating. A rush of excitement to find that my own bodily harm caused such emotion to stir within them. To react over something so trivial as skin. I started laughing. It wasn't theirs to worry about, and yet, worry they did."
xD I dunno, I kinda like writing this out, as if she's reiterating the themes and ideas I'm trying to convey.
I bet I could make an avatar out of her. >:3 Barely, there aren't a lot of facial scar poses.

And pietro has scars for all over the body, I'm sure you know. Including two giant scars coming up from the chin. Correction: Actually not everywhere but it's got the legs pretty good. It doesn't cover arms or right hip though.

You could probably try 6H, but I don't think the type of pencil really matters if you know how to use them. The big issue I see is that you're drawing tiny little lines when you're doing the initial sketch. The fastest way for you to get better at art is to do big sweeping lines. Not little - - - - lines, it's gotta be ONE line. Going over the line to fix it is fine, but you can't put tiny little lines together, it doesn't work. Also, try an anatomy book. It will help out a lot. And a lot of things on the body match up with other parts of the body. The length of your hand is approximately the length of your face. The length of your foot is approximately the same as your elbow to your wrist. The width of your armspan is approximately the same as your actual height. If you learn and remember these things, it'll help a lot. And with the face- eyes are in the middle and the face is five eyes wide (for a realistic looking face, not anime faces). You may know some of these things already, but it never hurts to be reminded.
