This is the time of year
When everyone is full of holiday cheer
Christmas songs are being played
Gifts are being made
People are out shopping for gifts
Trying to find the right one for people isn’t swift
Through stores we all do sift
Seeing everyone happy do our spirits lift
Christmas songs are in full swing
Sweet songs of Christmas through our ears they do ring
They put us in a good mood
The joy and cheer does us good
Its wonderful to be on Christmas break
Visits to friends and family we haven’t seen in a while do we make
It’s a good time to catch up on things with each other and see what’s new
My oh my how time just flew
It's beautiful when the right way wind sometimes blows
The scenery outside is just right for Christmas when it snows
Many peoples houses are decorated with lights, ornaments and scenery its so festive
At Christmas do we to each other presents we give
Wrapping the Christmas gifts takes a while
But its worth it to see our family and friends smile
What seems even longer is the wait for Christmas morning
So we busy ourselves by our houses and trees with decorations adorning
I send this to those of you on my friendslist on Gaia
It's so much better than a simple hiya
I send this to those of you on Gaia I’m close to and talk to the most
And to you all I toast
