"Well, do you know,..." Ever paused, biting his lip. Drawing one of his legs up underneath him, he let the orb levitate in its spot on the table, drawing his hands back. "What this is?" he asked, while watching Baizou carefully. Was he alright?

Ukaia nodded and went into the back getting a bowl of icecream. Then she came back out
"here you are Lil Bai" she said offering the bowl after she walked closer to him

There was a sudden drop in the temperature of the room as the door opened and a gust of frigid wind blew into the inn. There was only a faint shimmer in the air and the sound of footsteps running towards and up the stairs, though Bai may have a feeling of someone elses panic and fear. Upstairs the footsteps led up to the door to Lily's room and there was a knock on the door, followed by Lady Crystal's paniced voice. "Lily I need your help."

Lily jerked out of the light doze she'd fallen into, bed full of piles upon piles of books, all taken from Vincent's shop. She was still hoping that one might give her the key she needed to find Arlen... hearing Crystal call, she got out of bed as quick as she could, stumbling to the door and pulling it open. "Lady Crystal?" she asked a bit drowsily, peering into the hall.

Baizou gasped as his eyes returned to green. He didn't seem to even remember he had ordered ice cream. "That... That is.." He covered his mouth and moved himself closer, longing to hold the sphere. It was like she was in the room. Like if he closed his eyes, he could pretend she was right in front of him. "She is okay!" He reached his hand up, wanting to touch it, caress it. Anything! But he restrained and dropped his hand.

The illusion of invisibility shimmered away as Lady Crystal appeared before Lily, her hair mussed and her dress torn. She was panting slightly from her sprint. "They have Richard," she said, terrified and desperate.

Ever brought the sphere closer to him, but, it fought back. "Oh shush." he muttered. For the fragment of an instant, it turned into a blue, shimmery body, eminating the presence of Ellie. But, it retracted into the sphere. Definitely not strong enough, yet. It dropped back onto the table from where it levitated, and rolled side to side a little. "Yes. But, she can't come back. She'd really die, if her soul tried to re-enter anything."

Lily immediately looked more awake, and rather startled. She took in the woman's appearance, then reached into the hallway, grabbing her hand and pulling her into the room. "Who has Richard?" she asked a bit eagerly, ears quivering. "Because someone took Arlen too... if it's the same people, then maybe the two of us together could finally track them down... tell me what happened."

Still sitting in the same place, just a bit quieter then usual River observed the small bit of people, a curious expression masking her thoughts. "...Mmm.." She crossed her legs then re-crossed them the other way, watching in silence as they spoke to one another. The door opened, she took no mind though it was the strangest thing she'd seen yet here. Picking up the Jar she had she set it in her lap and leaned back onto her palms in waiting. Things looked rather intresting from this point of veiw.Baizou-Suprised! this was a rush of intrest diming away quickly as her eyes scanned what he was gawking over. To her it still smelt like dead body.

Baizou nodded obediently. "She could have my body! I would..." He paused, shaking his head. What a ridiculous idea. He couldn't hold Ellie if he were dead. What would be the point? The entire idea was to be with her. "Nevermind..." He murmured. He then suddenly gasped. "The man! The man who made your boyfriend... Trian, right? He could make her a body!" He said, eyes starting to glisten.

"I don't know," Crystal said, on the verge of tears. "We were leaving the Underdark and then the shadows attacked me and Richard," she sobbed and looked pained. "Richard shoved me out of the way and they wrapped around him. I don't know what to do I tried my illusions, but they didn't work. I-I couldn't do anything for him." By now her tears were streaming down her face and her arms wrapped around to hug herself.

I dont' want her to be... like that." Ever said. It sounded awful, yes. But, natural bodies were always more desirable. Wouldn't it be inhuman for her to be... Well, he was marrying Caradoc! " I mean, I love Caradoc. But, Ellie might not react the same way. She's never in one place long enough to have to charge all the time."

That idea dying, Lily looked rather lost a moment, then didn't hesitate, reaching out to hug the older woman tightly. "Don't worry, Crystal... we'll get him back, I promise. We'll get him back, and Arlen, and then we'll have a double wedding, and everything will be okay..."
