At least the joke was not completely lost. And I'm making it a personal mission to bring back the more creative insults of my youth. Kids these days just use swear words. The true soul crushing weight of spitting on someone's ancestors graves with their words is just not appreciated these days. I for one blame rap music.

But seriously, I play GTA or something, and driving on the American side of the road is SO weird for me. Surprisingly... China {mainland} drives on the same side as the US wink
I dunno about Japan. I know that in Japan they stand on the opposite side of the escalator. {They stand on the left and walk on the right.}
