kwchups *looks down at Venonat who i never returned after the battle as she stares up at me tugging at the bottom of my pants* "hmm what is it you want? you are never this energetic *a thought pops into my brain eek * " i bet shes ready to evolve by now, she battled a lot in the past few weeks, *raises my hand like i am still in grade school or something trying to act funny*"is there anyone here that would mind approving an evolution on such short notice?" Me: Approved. *Puts on sunglasses before the blinding lights occur*

"thank you very much Brian" *not even bothering to put on sunglasses i cover my eyes with my shirt sleeve as Venonat becomes surrounded with a blinding light as it begins to change its form*

Sammy didn't cover her eyes or put on sunglasses; she just went blind for a few moments. "Ooooh... Shiny. o.o" She stuck an oreo in her mouth, savoring the taste as she watched the evolution.

*The newly evolved Venomoth buzzes happily around my head leaving a trail of spores behind her* "great, another slightly messy pokemon to worry about...*chases Venomoth around in a circle having nothing really better to do*

Maddy sighed as a random grunt walked up to her and sent out Poochyena. "What the hell? You're sending a puppy to take me down?" Thinking about what the world was coming to, Maddy threw out a Pokéball, and it burst open to reveal Gible.
Gible rushed at Poochyena and chomped down on one of its front paws. Yelping, Poochyena countered by using Bite as well. Gible jumped back, shaking off the attack, before slashing Poochyena with claws that glowed ominously with dragon power. Poochyena growled furiously and then used Assurance, which gained power because Poochyena had already received damage. Gible staggered backwards from the attack, but was ready for more as it unleashed a terrible Dragon Rage, leaving Poochyena useless.
Sent out next to fight Gible was Nuzleaf, which began with Extrasensory. Gible fainted, so Maddy had to send out Charmander in his place. Charmander took a deep breath and unleashed a powerful stream of fire on the exhale. It was as if he was avenging his fallen ally, as the attack was a critical hit! Nuzleaf almost fainted from the powerful blow, and knowing that there was no way for it to win this time, it unleashed a deadly Explosion. The sacrificed Nuzleaf was returned to its Pokéball, and Charmander was left with almost no energy.
The grunts last Pokémon was Shellder, which wiped Charmander out by using Water Pulse. Maddy returned Charmander and sent out Ghastly. The ghost Pokémon floated around in circles for a few minutes, excited to finally fight. Then, it turned around and sent a dark ball of energy flying at Shellder. The blow was powerful, but Shellder was ready for more as it countered with Aurora Beam. Ghastly shook off the attack and used a terrifying Dark Pulse. Shellder managed to stay conscious as it used Brine, taking advantage of the situation. Ghastly just barely held on, and then unleashed Night Shade, ending the battle.
Maddy recalled Ghastly and went back to join the others. "That is the last time I end up fighting a grunt with mostly all basic stage Pokémon."

Ginji smiled. At least someone was getting something out of the mission. He watched as the last of the Grunts flew from the outside surroundings of the building and disappeared into the underbrush surrounding the city. "Okay, let's go check up on our old friend." Ginji almost commands as he walks into the Lab. "Be prepared for anything." he muttered as the room was dark inside.

As Ginji fumbled for the lightswitch he managed to trip over several odd contraptions, each time falling on his face. The darkness was very comfortable, but creepy at the same time. He finally managed to fidn the light, revealing the insides of the lab to the Team. Some kind of struggle had obviously taken place here, but the outcome was anyone's guess. Chair knocked over, papers thrown on the floor, tables broken in half.
"What happened here?" Ginji asked as he looked around the newly illuminated lab. He notes a PC on the wall and chooses to use it, just in case. "I suggest we rest for a second here before continuing onward. You never know what may happen."
