"Any of us can." Po-ar replied with a knowing smile. "Stress is dealt with differently by different people. When Ashuri-chan's under stress... she trips out... literally. Me..." he thought for a minute. "I tend to get really quite and contemplative, trying to figure everything out."

"Thom has a tendency to become self-destructive," Lief said quietly, "Last year a friend of ours, the three of us, was killed. Thom was so upset he started breaking mirrors and windows with his bare hands. When he was nine, he got lost at an airport. It was hours before we found him again. He was sitting in a corner playing his violin with bloody hands. He had been playing almost non stop. He didn't stop either time until Mave made him. Hopefully the ones we left him with can temper some of that self-destructiveness. If we loose Maeve...Gods forbid...I don't know what he'll do."

"If worst comes to worst, Lief, I can trap Thom in one of my portals. There... there is one room I can access that is inescapable save a new portal... it's not attached to this house, so it's a bit tricky to open... but I can if it needs to be done."

Lief nodded, "Thank you. If worst comes to worse, that should help, though I dearly hope we never have need of it."

Lief closed his eyes, quiet for a moment. "So any ideas about how to fight Konton and Naga?"

"Well, we have a plan about Konton... but I'd rather not discuss it with anyone else." Po-ar replied matter of factly. "No offense to you of course. As for Naga... no idea except the cold idea."

"They all have differnt strengths and weakness," Lief said with a sigh, "Ironically, it's probably one of their greatest strength. We can't take them all out together."

"Because we have tried and failed miserably at trying to get rid of them all." Po-ar replied.

Morrigan was thinking deeply, standing up and starting to go through the volumes in Celtic. "I don't even understand how you got this," she whispered softly, "Granted, it's romanized... I thought they burned all of this." She opened up the grimoire, flipping through the pages until she stopped at spirits. "I feel like I'm forgetting something," she muttered softly, "Like when a name is on the tip of your tongue. Wait a second what am I doing in this???" she asked suddenly, pushing it to the side. Instead, she started going through the dark grimoires like a hurricane. "Herne wouldn't used Druidic magick, we'd be able to detect it, being druids-----was he ever even trained in that sense??? I haven't the slightest, but bottomline, we'd know. He'd use the dark arts," she smiled softly. As for the body, her mind raced over what she knew. "In most death ceremonies, the body is burned to release the spirit," she began, "To allow the soul to be reborn. However, Maeve isn't dead. More like comatose. Wherever her soul is, I haven't seen it anywhere in that place...." she sighed, tapping a finger to her temple. "Her soul's bound to be getting tired. She needs to learn to start taking energy from the Gods and Goddesses-----if I remember correctly she and Thom had swords, I think hers was of Danu, which works... I wish there was some way to tell her. She'd have to visualize the energies of the earth and sky entering her, the divine, the holy, etc, giving her strength. I don't know how long she'll last without a body, it's usually risky business. Even if she does die, Niamh will help. We can revive her like Trunks, since we have her shell." Again the woman was pacing, going through the book as she went. It was a wonder she didn't crash into something. "Herne probably wouldn't mind making her shell a hunter, either. If we decide to bring Thom back, careful isn't even the half of it; it's a likely possibility Konton will use an illusion on us, while Herne snags him as well. Angelica..." she murmured, "We're going to have to make charms for psychic attack and seeing the truth." She circled around and sat down again, shoving the book forward. "Look at this. An entire chapter on souls. This might be helpful." She took her tea, a brief sip before setting it down. She was up and pacing again, tea in one hand, other arm crossed over her stomach. "What baffles me is that usually, seeing spirits and all wouldn't be a problem. You would see a fog, a weak energy field, something," she mused, "Something.... I know the Willow Woman will take care of Thom, you are right about that. I don't get stressed. In front of people." she coughed softly. "Hardly ever. But I know that once he gets to where all the other youths are being trained, he'll show good skill. He'll be like tempered steel, able to cut through everything that threatens him. We should go visit him soon and see how he's doing."
Vincent found himself worried, still hovering over Ashuri, accompanying her husband. He glanced to Trunks, and then to Ashuri, the long silence dragging on before he dared say anything. "Are you worried?" he asked softly, ever watchful over the two, "How long do you think it'll take??"

Trunks sighed, "Of course I'm worried." he replied, "But I've no idea... She... I guess it's like fighting any battle... Sometimes it takes time."

"Morrigan-chan... I'm going to pretend I know what you're saying..." Po-ar replied, looking at the woman as if she were crazy.

Morrigan frowned, and sighed. "You've read every book in this library, but don't understand me??" she asked in disbelief, "Damn. Well, Amairgen, you grasped that right??? Are you guys even reading that book?? There might be something important!" she muttered, sipping her tea. "Bloody..."

Po-ar laughed, "Yeah, it wasn't that I didn't totally understand... it was more like you spoke too fast and with too much information all at once. My mind was still grasping the first sentences when you'd already moved further along."

Lief smiled a bit at that, "She has a tendecy to do that sort of thing. Get used to it.
He frowned, "It is puzzling what happend to her soul. Strange that there was no indication."
