I think past reference.
I had this dream once where my avi had a warsman mask and the item had a bunch of masks and stuff.....Sounds cool?

Hah, yes, yes it does O_O too bad that'll never happen, along with never getting any One Piece related items either. Seems the EI artists are all about Naruto these days, and Sailor Moon. Can't say I dislike the Sailor Moon items though, they're pretty nice looking even though I don't really want any of them xD

Can't say I dislike the Sailor Moon items though, they're pretty nice looking even though I don't really want any of them xD Enh, the Naruto items look alright....One Piece I think can be acheived with what they have at the shops....Kind of. Mostly Luffy. >.> Oooh. Kinnikuman evolving item. Like, the 1st one has warsman claws, robin mask "blue skin", kinnikuman muscles, and terryman stars? ....Lawls.

Mars Eskara Dude, Kinnikuman evolving items would be awesome. XD You could get a little evolving UFO that would turn into a tiny Meat baby, then he'd grow up! We should tell Gaia! I hope people don't say "What anime is this? It doesn't exist." Like people did when they saw me as kinnikuman....>.> Imagine how stupid they felt when I pulled out a Kinnikuman volume. XD

HopelessEcko When I cosplayed Mantaro a group of japanese girls screamed at the top of their lungs and wanted a picture with me and my sis *who was cosplaying as Terry the Kid xD* IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING O_O See, the Japanese KNOW Kinnikuman xDDD If the blackhole doesn't do well, I can do a Terryman. Yeah....anime fans going to conventions in Cali are usually "hardcore" for the following: Deathnote Naruto One Piece Bleach Air Gear Kingdom Hearts D. Gray Man Pokemon Disgea Final Fantasy Now while I'm not saying those animes/games are bad, I just find it hard to see variety, or cosplays within those series having any originality. I mean, the most original thing I saw this year was a monster chopper from One Piece! And it was done by a guy who was 7 feet tall!

God that would have been amazing.... to be recognized while cosplaying a kinnikuman character.... I wish that would have happened for me.... razz you're so lucky biggrin
I've noticed that those are popular shows to cosplay from around here too... :/ I've been wishing for more of a variety...... though I must admit..... a lot of the older series are starting coming back here....
a lot of people were cosplaying from these shows this year:
Ranma 1/2,
FMA,
Hellsing,
Ouran,
and Avatar.... just to name a few.... OH! and I saw a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac as well biggrin (needless to say it made my day) <- I said it anyway biggrin

I do remember one time when there was a "fight" between anime characters.
I won.
Put a Sasuke in the Mexican Rolling Clutch Hold.
I lol'ed at how made he got.
I think we should all get together and do a Kinnikuman fight show.

As I totally agree with 99% of the series you mentioned, I 100% disagree with One Piece. I've seen TONS of original looking complicated and amazing One Piece cosplays. I myself KNOW for a fact I have several obscure and complicated ones that aren't cosplayed very often at ALL. I will agree there are a lot of shotty crappy half-assed cosplayers in any fandom, but I believe there isn't a gigantic following for One Piece, so there's usually less shitty cosplayers. However, in Naruto, Bleach, and ESPECIALLY Deathnote they top the charts with horrible, crappy, half-assed and shitty cosplayers =_=;; There are still very good cosplayers from those series, but lets say I see a One Piece cosplayer. Chances are that person has put more effort into their costume than someone who just pulled along sleeved white shirt out of their closet , a pair of blue jeans, and some mascara. There's just a difference xD However, cosplaying Mantaro the ONLY people who recognized me were the adorable japanese girls. It was okay though, cosplaying something SOO obscure, especially for America, I wasn't expecting to get recognized xD

Some say because of 4kids, some say because it's stupid, blah blah blah.One Piece is the only one out of the list that isn't half-assed where I'm from. Naruto and Death Note are in 1st place. Because usually, the Naruto cosplayers but some ninja's costume, don't even do any sort of make-up (if any is required). I saw 20 Kakashi's. Only one looked right. >> I was kind of sad when there was a Jiraiya done greatly but his friend, a Naruto, just had the orange jacket. >.> Oooh. Let's do Jaegar. I mean, I think his 4kids voice will get him attention. I don't have the blubber for Wally Tusket.

Ahaha not enough blubber to do Wally Tusket xDD *dies* Jeager is a really awesome character to cosplay, it's too bad though he's just not all that recognizable x_x;; My sis cosplayed him when I cosplayed Mantaro, and I was the only one to get recognized x_x;; ahha we soo failed XDDD We tried though, had fun at least...
